Atkinson Resort & Country Club Review

Had prom there. Great place but the dance floor is a bit small

Atkinson is a beautiful venue. Great food, awesome golf course and amazing reception space.

Great food. Professional Staff and Very Friendly. My sister had her baby shower here and the men ate and drank at the tavern until it was time to help with the gifts. It was a great day had by all.

Incredible place for a wedding. Grounds were lovely. Everything was on point.

what an absolute Hidden Gem! I had no idea that this wonderful place was open to the public. We enjoyed a fabulous lunch and even better cocktails and dessert on the patio served by Alexis. She was phenomenal.

Real easy to find, (good road signs). Plenty of parking, and a very attractive pro shop, restraunt, etc.

It seemed that either everyone working there took some "happy pills", or they were all just super nice. Not one unpleasant employee.

The coures is a fair course. It's also very spread out, with nice little rides in between holes.
To play a good round, place the ball in the fairway and the course plays long.

On the other hand, the rough is the penalizing aspect of the course. That, and well-placed bunkers. The rough is fairly high and will grab the hosel of your club and turn it with ease.

The greens played kinda weird, speed-wise. Some were kinda fast, while some seemed to put the breaks on, leaving you 10 feet short.

All in all, a great time. And a thumbs-up to all the emlpoyees. Cart girl included.

Very upscale and bougie, if you're not part of the preppy golf crowd, it's fairly uncomfortable. Food service was decent, but quite a wait.

I did't go in at all. Just outside for the Christmas tree lighting ceremony. It was pretty.

Went to my highschool prom at Atkinson Food was good. Ball room was 0k size

Stayed there one night during a family reunion. It's a nice looking place and the room was spacious with a large bathroom and comfortable enough bed. It was a good place to spend the night and checkin and checkout were nice and easy.

They put two groups of 4 people on each hole to start which meant lots of waiting. It took almost six hours to play 18. The longest it's ever taken me to play, although the course was beautiful

Played foursome in 4:30 constantly harassed about pace. I'm not a PGA player just an average guy trying to enjoy a Sunday round of gf

Beautiful Course... a little pricey, but the course was in amazing shape so it's well worth it.

This is a great venue for weddings and wedding parties of all sizes. I highly recommend that you check it out

Beautiful course and facilities. Nice bar area for grabbing drinks / food and watching a game. Brunch in main restaurant has awesome spread including on demand carved prime rib.

Dinner at the grill. comedy in the function room awesome!

The staff (Julie) was the best I have ever worked with. I have done over 100 weddings and she was the best

Golf course was in excellent condition and the food at the restaurant was good.

I went to a social event being held in the Legacy Ballroom. The space was beautiful, the food was exquisite, and the atmosphere was magical. It was a truly an unforgettable night.

The staff was good, they food was good, not much else to say.

Great for a beer and grub after a round of golf. Good Sunday breakfast too.

I attended a beautiful wedding services for friends. The outdoor venue for the ceremony was impeccable, and the ballroom for the reception was great.

I was there for Sunday brunch with family members. The food ranges from salads, fruits, desserts, blintzes, eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, pancakes, made in front of you belgian waffles, omlets made to order.... the list goes on and on. Very very good.

Food was good, signs were not immediately easy to decipher

We were looking at a room just to get a visual for an event we already booked. The woman at the front desk was very pleasant and accommodating

The Atkinson resort and country club offers off-season virtual golf booths, a billiards and game room, as well as a fine restaurant. The food is great quality with a nice wait staff to compliment. I went here to buy gift cards, swing a few clubs in the virtual golf booth, and had some good food delivered to me while I practicing putting and driving. They also had a huge lighted Christmas tree outside which put me in the holiday spirit and the front desk staff who sold me my gift cards were very personable. The location is great as well because it's just enough out of the way to be secluded but not enough to be too far away from all civilization.

The Atkinson country club is a wonderful place, highly recommend it.

I went to my senior prom at Atkinson Resort & Country club and it was a great experience.

Not what i expected in a country club. The one i belong to in fl is a 5 star in plantion bay

Beautiful location for a very nice Wedding. Dinner was wonderful as well ad the appetizers.

Expensive. Food was only so-so. Atmosphere was warm and comfy. Staff was attentive and friendly.

Lousy slow service sky high prices and the food is just not that good. Also extremely loud on Tuesday nights

Quite the place. Good condition. Back 9 is tough. Tough to walk.

Stopped for a cocktail and appetizers on the patio. Had a unique, cool but comfortable, fall afternoon. The patio heaters helped but weren t really necessary. Our server, Haley, was prompt and professional. We had the bruschetta with some chardonnay and a seasonal Apple Cider martini - yummy. Prices are reasonable but not cheap. View of golf holes this time of year is breathtaking. Would recommend and will return!
