Nice view from the terrace. We had a really good lunch there, so we went back for dinner. The dinner was a disappointment. The service and the food were indifferent. My chicken tagine was skimpy and overcooked. I don't know whether we got lucky at lunch, unlucky at dinner, or whether their lunches are just better than their dinners.

Atay cafe is still one of the best places in Marrakech to eat and chill or even just to stop for a drink. Lovely atmosphere and great people. We came here when it first opened and we'll certainly be coming back

Highly recommendable. We ordered the quinoa salad, omelet with tomatoes, pastilla with chicken and tomato salad with avocado. It was all mighty delicious. Their desserts are definitely worth a visit.

The place is nice, covered in the sun on a beautiful terrace with views. The prices are decent and the quantities are fine. The avocado and tomato salad is great. The pill something fair but good. A good place to eat / dine. A greeting!

This was the first restaurant where we stopped when in Marocco. Much cheaper than Kui-Zin, same quality, same road too. We came back again the good it was. We had lamb tajine, Tanja Marrakchia (spelling might vary) and lemon saffron chicken tajine. All zesty and well cooked. Cosmopolitan atmosphere with modern local music and international crowd. Beautiful terrace. Clean toilet. The staff is very friendly and polite. They speak English, French, Spanish, and Italian. Coffee is good indeed (from an Italian standard). Order a coffee cream, the closest thing to a cappuccino in Marrakech.

Wonderful location in Marrakech Medina, and great food! I was there with my Italian friends and we had the best cous cous in 4 days. I had also a very tasty fruit salad with a mix of sweet and salt flavours.
A place to come back any time I will be in Marrakech in the future. The owner is a friendly and nice person, and he had lived for 10 years in Milan, my city!

Atay Cafe is really my local restaurant. I have been here many times and I've always loved the food!! The restaurant has a very nice atmosphere, especially in the evening. Try as much plates as you can, they are all good!!

More of the same. In the whole medina you eat almost the same for the same price. Here at least the bathroom was cleaner, there was paper and soap in the sink, and paper to dry your hands. We both ordered tajine, chicken and vegetables. They were rich, but they were ridiculously few. The terrace: beautiful.

Wow!

Great view and decor, super friendly English speaking staff. The homemade burger was better than other places (just wanted something quick) but you should go for something more traditional for sure. Calm background music, which was nice for a change.

The place is really nice, especially the terrace. It's worth going there when there's still light because the view is beautiful. The food is good and the portions are quite abundant in average prices in Marrakech, around
10 each.

Just loved this destination in the old city.

Just loved this destination in the old city.
Tasty menu selections...a relaxing atmosphere and a chance to meet people from all around the world.
Friendly service that can communicate in English and obviously French.
Dined there 3 nights straight...great views from the upper decks although all areas are comfortable. Prices are very reasonable ....under 20 per couple for dinner incl dessert.

Don't miss it!

A Nice rooftop cafe / restaurant with a very nice view. They have different floors. The highest is the smallest one. The service was the worst I've experienced in Marrakech because we felt like we are annoying the waiters just because we wanted to order something. The food was not my taste but well prepared and served. If you want to have a nice view maybe just with drinks and don't mind the bad service then go there.

Very nice roof terrace, the food is excellent. The waiters quite friendly on the first visit, the second but very inattentive. It has a beautiful view over the city and the Atlas Mountains. Definitely worth a visit!

Lovely view from the terras at the Ben Youssef mosk. The chanting of the moasinne in the background and the cool eveningbreeze blowing through the lanterns really gives you the sense of an arab night after a hot day in the souks. Food is very good and royal portions. Staff is very friendly. We've been here twice during our visit and would definetly come back.

The food tastes great and another highlight is definitely the cozy roof terrace overlooking the medina! Especially the sunset is very nice to look at typical Moroccan dishes!

Unfortunately, the waiters are quite unmotivated and the service takes a long time.
Otherwise highly recommended!

The best meal we had in Morocco, of many great ones. Sublime bastilla, both sweet and savory. The Tangia is expertly seasoned. Prices are very reasonable, especially compared to some of the more posh restaurants in the area that aren t even close in food quality. Stop reading this and go there now.

We came across this cafe on our 2nd night in Marrakech. It was one of the best places for dinner we have had in Morocco! The food was tasty and had a great variety on menu. Their prices were quite good compared to the other cafes around. Service was great and seeing that we came back again, the waiters recognised us and even gave us recommendations (that I will definitely vouch for!)

All in all a great place and would recommend at least a visit when in Marrakech. You will get that authentic Moroccan feel and taste when you visit this cafe.

The main reason to visit this place is the beautiful setting and views from the terrace dining area, especially at sunset when you can enjoy the stunning view of the old town and the call to prayer. The food is lovely, although overpriced for what it was, and service was barely there - seemed unbothered, not too hospitable, which is a shame for such a lovely space.

Came here on a lazy afternoon. Was calm and quiet which was perfect! Staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was chilled and laid back - perfect. We had iced coffee and asked to add milk and a simple tomato salad - both tasted great. We hung out on the terrace, on our phone using the WiFi for a long period enjoying the cool breeze! I would recommend and will probably be back
