I normally don't write reviews for stuff like this...

I normally don't write reviews for stuff like this but I would like to say that I had the most AMAZING experience today at this AT&T store. I walked in having had my phone stolen last night and had no idea what my options were, if I had insurance, what I could do, etc. and was helped mostly by Charles (the rest of the guys there too because it was empty at the time when I got there) through the process of looking up my account, finding that I DID have insurance - thank goodness - connected to the insurance people and then assisted in purchasing and setting up a new phone by the guys in the store. It was a long and arduous process and I was there for about 3.5 hours and have just never been helped out by such kind and well informed individuals at an AT&T store in my life. What could have been a really miserable experience dealing with getting a new phone, ended up being a fairly enjoyable afternoon. I also would like to note that by the time I left the store was packed and all of the guys were managing balancing all of the other customers with ease and utmost professionalism! I highly recommend this store and cannot thank Charles and the rest of the guys there enough for helping me out today!!!

Have had nothing but bad experience with these people. When I had a problem with my phone, they only wanted to sell me a new one. Turned out all I needed was a new charging cable. I used to pay my bill at the store, but none of the kiosks work any more.

I was a tourist and i was able to get a cellphone free if I paid with my card. Even though the phone is not that great, it helped me get connection in the US because my phone refused to work here.

My experience was great - quick and easy both times. Both reps that helped me were knowledgeable. Best of all they weren't pushy at all! Love it when I can get help and get all the info I need and more that I didn't realize I needed to help my situation, while not being coerced into spending more money. ^_^

Used car dealership vibe. Don t trust these folks. They are deceptive and trying to make their sell quota rather than looking out for what's best for you. You re much better off going to a smaller authorized at&t merchant. Overall at&t sucks.

they are lucky that i can't put 0 star... i am new in nyc and because i need to be here for few months i was in doubt if take at&t or another company famous... but the other company cost $70 for all unlimited, this cost me $65 and i was thinking was a good choice save some money, because i think they are so much for have unlimited data,text and call for just 1 month... anyway i take it and what??? IS THE WORST DATA COVER CONNECTION I HAVE IN MY LIFE, sometime i CAN'T TEXT OR PICS on whatsapp because is very very slowly, and now i already pay for 1 month so i need to be with them all of this month but next month for sure they not will see my money anymore... HOW THIS CAN BE POSSIBLE THAT IN MANHATTAN, the first big city and touristic of the world, there is a cover so slow and bad like this!!! BYE

Great customer service. In no time I had a new phone in my hand. The worker Joel was exceptional, and left me speechless with his help. Hard to find great help like this these days. And he helped me save over $100 on my bill.

Avoid this place - go to another location. Leslie and the manager knowingly scammed me by lying about a promotion and getting me to add a line to my bill under the pretense that I could "cancel it after 45 days". My phone bill ended up $200 higher the next month, and I had to spend hours on the phone with AT&T trying to figure out how to exit the new contract.

Great service! Michael Montesino was very professional and did a great job helping my wife and I to make changes to our devices and add a line. The manager came around as well and asked if we are being treated well.

I am giving this 5 star review because of Leslie Brown. After a very unfavorable experience with another associate, Leslie stepped in to right matters. Leslie was knowledgeable, professional, kind and very friendly. She was able to correct issues with my past purchases and account that others could not. AT&T would be doing a service to their customer base and the corporation if they hired employees that were more reflective of Leslie Brown s abilities and temperament. Thank you Leslie.

I went in with the simple task of asking about getting a monthly plan because i had already been mislead and miss sold by a representative at a previous store.

The staff were insulting, rude and deceptive. I was made to feel stupid for asking questions the rep thought were obvious about how phone companies operate in the states. (i'm from the UK) The representative was also stand offish when i questioned how the phone company operated as i thought it seemed odd. coming from europe where companies don't abuse their power so much charging for incoming and outgoing calls or texts was abolished some 10 years plus ago.

I left the store with my blood boiling and swear to never use at&t and will tell further friends and family to not use them.

Endless phone menus. On hold for 12 minutes to get a human at what says "now, not very busy." Not being able to get a human is torturous. Really disappointing. Now I have to make a special trip to the store just to chat with someone. Bad ATT

In a word Awesome, Great customer service! We had to get a new sim card for a phone that was lost and then returned. They took the time to take care of everything and turn the service back on and no charge for the sim card.

I had my dog with me and the security guard didn't want to let us in because he considered the dog big. There was another dog already in the store and the manager said he didn't want two dogs in the store at once as they had trouble before. I totally understand that and waited outside. He came and got me and put me at the front of the line and my dogs size was not an issue. Everything was perfectly handled.

This is the only AT&T in NYC that is nice enough to let you recharge your battery when running low.
The staff wasn't worried about helping you and had a positive attitude to find the plugs for Iphone 4/5 to use.
I rate them 4stars since the A/C was broken and fans were blowing, the cords were not taped down. Hazard!!!

Terrible customer experience! They literally misguided me and they were very unprofessional! They had no idea what they were doing or what they were offering. I was recently eligible to upgrade my phone, as I do the leasing per month plan and was dreading the whole process. Getting a new phone is always simultaneously exciting and a pain. In the past, I have gone into the AT&T in Oklahoma when I am home for Christmas thinking that the wait would be less and the service more friendly than the big city. Jeffrey Gabriel was my retail consultant and he shattered my stereotype. Easily the most friendly and professional AT&T associate I have ever interacted with, I felt that he perfectly balanced my needs and talking to me about my plan with representing AT&T. He helped me understand my plan better and what I could be doing to optimize it I I will now specifically return to this AT&T store for any phone needs. It is easy to get to and with employees like Jeffrey, I wouldn't be scared about dealing with phone issues and will keep me loyal to AT&T!!!

I went there today to get a new phone. JAMIE and CHARLES helped me. They tried to get me to get two phones and finally I said no I just want one. The server kept going down when they were helping me so It took a long time. Charles asked me to sign the bill- I said let me see it- he said it disappeared on line- I said ok and signed it and now I am home and I am being billed for two phones not one!!!!! I feel like they totally did not know what they were doing and they were trying to be nice.I am leaving the country tomorrow so I will not be able to fix this until I come back and I AM FURIOUS!!! More time wasting....

This store runs its own promotions and gives false information & doesn't even own up to it. They'll sell products and say to you its a promotion, but when you call AT&T customer service, they are unaware of the same. Terrible wait time and terrible sales strategies to steal your money

I went in to get a phone and a tablet everything was fine then some muscle bound douchbag of a manager said since I just recently just opened the account so he can't give me the devices. I say OK and leave now come to find out the lines were added to my account and the devices an iPhone 7 and an ipad were taken out on my account... so eine is going to jail

Mr. Gabriel was awesome helping me replace my stolen iPhone over my lunch break. Knowledgeable and personable, he dashed my fears of a drawn-out, expensive nightmare. (It definitely helped that the special they had perfectly fit my circumstances.) This was easily the best experience I've had of any phone/gadget purchase. No hard sell, no condescension, no rudeness, no sweat. I wish all customer services were this stress-free.

Waited 2hr just to buy an iphone 6 a year after its release.the costumer service is slow. They spent too much time taking to costumers about every little option and setting up their phones. Its seems like the costumers are at therapy. "So do you want to pay at once or on the next plan" let me give 15 min to think about it while i sit here with you".

AT&T has been going down hill for quite some time. The worst part is that the the customer support people are absolutely uninformed and downright rude. The manager when confronted with my issues was a total d-bag. I suggest that you avoid AT&T at all costs, especially this location. There are much better option out there.

Overall their customer services are the worst. Especially Danial the maniger is terrible ever. The at&t store in the union square exists for taking the customers money by misleading and hiding many information. They charge me extra without mentioning the important information about the bills even though I got the several confirmations about the bill with the specific amont of money they will charge me. Do not trust them. Just buy your devices at apple store and bring the devices to other companies. That way you can save a lot of money and you won t get any unfair extra charges.

Horrible customer service. Kiosk is always broken. It has been broken for the last 10 months and AT&T refuses to take any accountability to resolve this issue. Staff is unhelpful and refuses to take any payment when kiosk is down. Do yourself a favor switch to another carrier. They are unprofessional and think people have time to run around just to make a payment. This is ridiculous in the year 2019. This is why I will be switching to T-Mobile. Goodbye AT&T

My 18-year-old left their cell phone in a taxi while we were visiting NYC from out of town. I was expecting to pay a lot for a new phone, since we had just renewed our contract a few months before. But the salesperson and his manager were so nice to us! They figured out a way to start us on a new contract for a better but same-priced plan, which allowed us to get a really nice new phone for only 99 cents. I'm not kidding! We were so happy with our whole experience in this store, and really grateful for their help. And this time, I purchased insurance on my kid's phone.
