The lady who answers the phone is extremely rude every time you call. Not only are they rude but they messed up on my insurance. Kept getting a bill saying I owned money because they scheduled me as a new patient purposely so my insurance would not cover the cost. After calling 5 different times they finally resolved my insurance after having to call 5 times. They lied every time saying they messed up and it would be fixed and it took them 4 months and 5 different calls to fix.

I have been a patient at Jefferson Internal Medicine for close to 19 years now. I have seen just about every doctor that works at the practice and I have never had any issues with any of them. They are very professional, caring and do what is best for their patients.
Carly Moock is so patient oriented. I have never had a doctor call me personally to confront my concerns and really help me through understanding a difficult situation. It truly shows how dedicated to her patients she is. She assured that all of my concerns were handled and that the needs of the patient were put first. I am so thankful for her and how thoroughly she talked everything through with me. I am so grateful for her!
I have seen Jessica brim, NP and she rushed through the visit , seeming to have no interest in speaking with me , as if I was a bather to to be asking questions . Jessica was dismissive, rude and I would not recommend being treated by her and this was the worst experience I have had with the a doctor in my life. Later on after the visit, the doctor office called my wife and told her that I was self differed by saying to Jessica that I didn't want to see her anymore but nothing like that was ever said . This is completely 100% untrue and there is not in the policy as they told my wife, when my wife was asking questions about the situation trying to work things out , they hung up on her. When she called back , still being respectful, they were not giving any answers and they were very rude. That same day my wife went down to the doctor office to have the policy printed out and when the office manager came around the corner to speak with my wife, she was very aggressive, unprofessional and rude. As my wife was standing there reading the policy, she told my wife that she has to leave or they will call the police, my wife was not unpeaceful , she was simply reading. This is not how you treat people that need your help , which leads us to believe that this was caused simply because of my race .
I am not usually one to complain, but the lack of professionalism here is hard to look past...The doctors and nurses here are amazing, but the receptionists are so rude! If I were the owner, I would be embarrassed to have that kind of customer service (or lack thereof) representing my practice. I am seriously considering finding a new primary care doctor because I dread dealing with the serious attitude problem at the front desk every time I have an appointment, or god forbid, a simple question. I have family members who are also patients here, and they have encountered the same problems.
This office has twice screwed me over by not making referral correctly as required by my insurance carrier causing me to waste time making calls and in the end losing money. If their staff is unable to properly make referrals for aetna sdvantage then they should not be accepting that insurance. Or train staff to do their job correctly.
Most unprofessional staff I have ever come across in the medical field. They were dismissive and rude, showing true lack of compassion for someone in need.
