Not a bad seat in this small but elegantly charming house. Professional presentations at a price much lower the Broadway.

This theater group is excellent! The show selection is incredible and the showmanship is as well. Would definitely recommend giving any show a chance!

Asolo runs an eclectic selection of shows with to-notch performing artists. Every show I've been to has been inspired and well-produced.

They say they do student discounts for college students but they never confirm about seating. They keep telling you to call back incase there might be some seats avaliable. If your gonna give students discounts, let them buy the tickets. Do not tell students to keep calling to see if there are seats available on the day of the show or to show up an hour before the show and there is no seating. Asolo Theatre, you need to do a better job at this.

Show and sets very impressive, just like NY, with better prices and . Exllent acting!!!

This is a great theater. The productions are fabulous with great acting and set design. The theater is not huge so you are close to the action.

Beautiful beautiful theater! One of the most interesting and exquisite theaters I have personally ever been in. It s quite extraordinary. The staff is super friendly and very kind. The young people working in the box office was also very helpful and friendly. The food as well as snack selection and drink selection was First class. If you have not been to this theater and you are in the Sarasota area I urge you to make a special trip here. You will not regret it!

The size and acoustics of the theater are quite good. We enjoy attending Sarasota Ballet performances on this venue.

Certainly on a scale close to the best of Off Broadway and Broadway. They experiment, they try out new theater approaches. They have a student group that gives their heart to every show and they are of a professional quality. They will feature a redoing of Shakespeare while the Main theater will do classical Broadway hits and even improves some of them as it appeals to a general audience.
They are also brave enough to put on late spring and summer and early fall theater so that Sarasota doesn't become a tourist attraction but a place to live year round.

Saw "Ragtime", excellent show. First class performance arts center.

Took a group of 75 middle schoolers for a performance of The Music Man. Great show, very accommodating staff. Thanks for making theater accessible to these kids!!

Right now showing a very powerful play about Roe V. Wade. Fantastically staged and performed.

Always great theater productions. This weekend we saw 2 at the Asolo. Sat night was "Doll's House, Part 2".....generated a lot of class discussion- neither Nora nor Torvald have improved! Today we saw "Sweat" by Lynn Nottage - excellent, thought-provoking, sociological study.....go see it! 2 of the actors joined our class afterwards - great discussion!

Went to Sweeny Todd at Asolo and wasn't disappointed. Beautiful venue and awesome show.

ABSOLUTELY LOVE! Every show is amazing! It keeps me coming back, and they keep getting better every time! For all age groups and truly entertaining!!!

We saw Noises Off. Great performance. We'd seen it originally in London. Helen Mirren was in that cast. Enjoyed the play here equally as much.

I have seen about 8 performances there over the past several years. All but one were EXCELLENT. Seats are comfortable but a bit cramped. Beautiful architecture.

Their summer circus was really neat. I was surprised how quickly it sold out. You'd want to buy tickets in advance/call ahead for tickets. The acts are all very professional. The clowns are super funny. The show as a whole felt a little short, but it's worth the price for sure. Kids and adults will enjoy the summer circus show

The Sound of Music was spectacular. I worked as a volunteer usher at the performance.

Enjoying the talent of the stage productions is half the pleasure; taking in the theatre's ambience is the other half.

Lifespan of a Fact is an excellent and well acted production.

The updated production of Evita was totally amazing, from the opening to the curtain call. The voices were the best, the leads were flawless, sets, lighting, and choreograpy incredible. Should be on a world tour. Thank you all for an unforgettable experience. BRAVO!!!

Very nice theater. Good productions and grounds of the facility are beautiful.

We went to see Shakespeare In Love and it was five stars! The acting, the stage set all was good; however we had seats in the balcony and could only see the play if we leaned over. So we sat at the edge of our seats and leaned over for the whole production. Not good. The stage was not visible unless we did that so I am not sure those seats should even be available. So hurrah to the cast two thumbs down on the orchestra seats.

It was fun and exciting. All of the actors were right on. The sets were fantastic, costuming, and timing, right on the .money.
A most enjoyable evening. Thank you.
