Nice setting with several types of Asian cuisine, from Japanese to Thai to Chinese. Wait times can be a little long--we arrived Sunday when it opened, and waited 20-30 minutes for our food, even though the place was half-empty. The staff is very kind and attentive though, and portions are large. The poke bowl was packed with toppings, the pad thai very savory, and the hot and sour soup very hot and sour (who would've thought?). I didn't love the home style tofu though, as the sauce had a weird aftertaste.

One thing to note: this place is not very veggie-friendly. There are only a handful of veggie options, though you can get some dishes modified. Even then, many veggie dishes use chicken broth or fish sauce. Our server made us aware of this, but just know this before you go, especially if you're a strict vegetarian/vegan.

Overall, not a bad spot, and I would go again.

The customer service and food was great. I give 4 stars because the calamari wasn't cooked completely. I didn't express concerns to the waitor either. I will just ask for them to make it crispy next time. I enjoyed myself!!

I have been a customer of Asian Gourmet for many years, and have supported them throughout the pandemic. The food is always good. No complaints there.

I have had two instances - one 2 nights ago - where I thought they were NOT very accomodating. This comes across as arrogance, as if to say "We are so successful, you mean nothing to us."

I do not care to reach my hand into my soup bowl to pull the tails off of shrimp. I prefer for them to come without tails. You would think this request was outrageous, even on a non-busy Tuesday evening. I did not appreciate hearing that this request cannot be made without substituting inferior shrimp, and I did not appreciate hearing that no one else is bothered by tails left on shrimp in a bowl of soup.

I truly do not care whether it bothers anyone else. That comment just annoyed me even further. Chai Thai is just around the corner, their food is excellent, and the owner is appreciative of my business.

Asian Gourmet has great food. But do not expect to feel valued as a customer. You are just a number. I assume that message comes from the top.

Great restaurant that has been in Gahanna for over 15 years . This place has great sushi , Chinese dishes , and other Asian cuisines. They use the finest ingredients and make everything by scratch. I mean everything !

Their bucket roll is my favorite. Deep fried roll with cream cheese + salmon/white fish/ tuna Panko deep fried and then topped with spicy tuna on top . Spicy mayo , wasabi mayo , eel sauce on it makes it so creamy and good. But I get mine on the side.

I've always loved Asian Gourmet's food but the last three takeout orders have been very poor. The freshness of the food hasn't been good. Their prices are a premium too. I won't be ordering from them again. Time to find another Asian takeout place.

The sushi here never disappoints. My husband and I eat here practically once a week and the food is always perfect. They are always prompt on having it done and if you listen to the times they tell you for carry out orders, you ll never be waiting around on your food. Dine-in experiences have also been great, with extremely attentive service.

It was amazing they could fit us in on a Friday night. The family and I went for some dinner and enjoyed the experience. The sushi is always delicious and my wife and daughter loved the sesame chicken. Good place to go for some chow.

This was our first time back to Asia Gourmet sice the start of Covid and it was disappointing. The table top was covered in some sticky substance, possibly a cleaning product. They have taken our favorite dish, Dolsot Bibimbap, off the menu. The Wonton Soup was a cup of chicken broth, no vegetables, with one tastless Wonton. However, the main dish, Triple Delight, was very good. We've always thought Asian Gourmet was a bit overpriced but that the Dolsot Bibimbap was worth the money. Now, I think we will stick with Chi Thai just down the road.
