After deciding to try renewable energy to replace our calor gas system, we were keen on a biomass boiler system, but nervous as to how it would work, as it seemed the majority of biomass boilers were used for commercial properties. Ashwell Biomass were fairly local to us so we decided to give it a try. Although the majority of their business is commercial, they couldn't have been more helpful or understanding with our domestic needs. They put us in touch with an existing domestic user who helped to answer our questions and reassure us from a practical point of view.
The system itself and the RHI were clearly explained and we had a lot of help given with the certificates and other info needed.
Installation didn't take long and we love the boiler! We have found it to be much more efficient and cheaper than the calor gas system. Wood pellets are easy to source and we are pleased with the amount we are using. The boiler is of excellent quality and we are very happy we decided to try something so out of our comfort zone. Can highly recommend Ashwell if you are considering biomass, whether domestic or commercial.
