This place is amazing! Though we didn't get to see the threatre inside but the lobby is wonderful! The building itself speaks history
History was made here. So many great artist have walked upon its stage. Do yourself a favor watch anything here and I mean anything and have a great time.
The legendary venue is a must see, whether you're in Manhattan for an evening or have been for a lifetime. If legroom is a priority, book seats on the Parquet or First Tier, as the rest of the levels (especially the second tier) are a "cozy" fit. As far as acoustics go, there isn't a single bad seat in the house.
Wonderful venue with such a rich history. The acoustics are incredible and the staff is super helpful. We came to watch the top three high school bands in the nation perform and we quickly forgot we were watching teenagers play. Our daughter was humbled to perform in such a prestigious and historical hall.
What a place, what a glory.
I used to live in the building up to this amazing hall.
Cigars and whiskey, elegant atmosphere and jazz
Absolutely gorgeous concert hall. The boxes on the 2nd tier were a wonderful part of the experience. Loved the red velvet seats too. Washrooms well-kept and clean. And the orchestra... amazingly talented.
Grand stage that caters to all kinds of artistic and cultural performances... BUT getting a drink at halftime is impossible. Please staff accordingly, otherwise, would have been a 5 star experience.
More of a name to drop than anything. It is as if some look to monetary wealth or a familiar overused name as an indicator of proper taste.
The cherry on top is the lackluster staff.
