THE place to come if you want to buy something by Artek; they deliver worldwide.

Helpful, friendly staff. Great show room, lots of books.

I sell a lot of furniture designed by the famous Alvar Aalto. It is half price in Japan to buy here. Many Japanese people come here to buy and return (this is still a good deal).

Wonderful furniture in the shop! just like walk in a exhibition hall.

Interesting goods as well as friendly and helpful staff

Great showroom and shop of Finnish furniture design. Most famous designer is Alvar Aalto who's desings are the highlight of Artek collection. The shop is in center of Helsinki on a building designed by Aalto. This is not a museum but a shop so you can pick things here If you like them. Also just browsing is OK.

After all the city bustle, the eye is resting as you look at Artek's shop windows.

A wonderful classic store of Scandinavian design. You can just go to a museum or an exhibition.
Cheaper than 300 you won t find anything anyway)

Disappointed with what I consider to be high quality products, at least some of which I found to be inadequate, such as the larger serving trolley, which, after a few months of purchase, is extremely low, even the seatbelt is at the break point at the front of the seat. Repairing expensive buckle belts costs around 500, although there is no need to change the backrest, for example. Very disappointed with the situation.

Tiny museum in the entrance. All of the artek pieces, and a lot of vitra on display. Friendly staff. Definitely worth a visit!

I was with my American boyfriend watching Artek's offer as usual and we enjoyed our time until a black-haired Finnish female salesman invited the guards to sniff after us. My boyfriend is a dark-skinned design student and sought inspiration from store products. We realized that the guards were for us (i.e. him) when we left the store and the guards happened to leave at the same time. Surprise! It is a pity that in 2020, darker skin tones will still be a threat to some. I expected better. We will not come again!

Japanese staff were more kind and able to do good shopping. I am sorry that there are lots of things I want and that there are no shops in Japan. I want to visit again.
