We took an antique goblet in for repair of the rim, and when we picked it up, the base had been freshly chipped--and they didn't even notice it. When I pointed this out they offered to repair that, and the piece can back to us looking odd and misshapen. We were never made whole.

I brought a 19th century lamp for re-wiring and specifically asked for gold wire to match the color of the lamp. However, apparently, the conservator there never read the instruction and instead put in an ugly brown cord.
Although I was offered for a replacement, I declined, because that requires taking out the soldering out and re-solder the plate cover again.
I would not recommend their service.

I have brought a number of personal and family treasures to Art Restoration and had each and every one treated with care and repaired expertly no matter their monetary value. Additionally, their customer service is outstanding and they go above and beyond to answer my questions.

They did a phenomenal job of matching and replacing an antique crystal lamp's crystal prism finial and several almond shaped crystals and small round diamond shaped ones too was incredible. It took longer than what I had anticipated but to have that turn of the century crystal lamp back to looking wonderful and matching the non damaged one made it worth the wait and the expense. They are not inexpensive but the caliber of their work is excellent.

Great service if you need crystal, porcelain, artwork, restored or repaired.
Be warned fairly expensive, and wait time for repairs 4 to 6 weeks
