I m in awe at how kind and helpful staff members are here and overall is a very clean facility. Prior to visiting I had the pleasure of speaking with the admissions coordinator Lindsey and she was very sweet, helpful, and thorough on answering all my questions and concerns and did not leave any details left out. I trust my uncle is in great hands here.

My husband recently spent time at Arroyo Vista Nursing Center after hospitalization. The staff is terrific: professional, efficient, caring, attentive, and wonderful in every way. Both my husband and I grew to feel as though they were family; now that he's home, we miss them already. I would highly recommend this facility for fantastic, over-the-top care.

My family member stayed in this facility after he suffered from a stroke and needed therapy to recover. He was having difficulty walking and moving his entire left side. He worked with the therapy team for 3 months. I saw him walking with a walker and he was discharged with a cane!!! The therapy department is amazing and really helped him progress to his full potential. The therapy he received was above and beyond my expectations. How involved and caring they were about his progress made me realize how great of a team they are. The nursing team was also super attentive, they notified my family and was available to give updates whenever we called. The facility is super clean, they are constantly cleaning! I would definitely recommend this facility to anyone who needs to recover. I would trust my family member here!

My mother has had the most positive experience here. Everyone that works here are very happy loving people and genuinely care. This has been the motivating factor to help her bounce back from a very rough year of 4 surgeries. We personally have 4 other facilities to compare to in the area and I would highly recommend this place to any friend or relative.

My family member did not get good care here!
Too Many issues to list!!
In the end , i had to take my family member to the emergency room..
He had to have emergency surgery and had an infection...
The scary part is, my family member was only in Arroyo Vista for 3 days!
After causing my family member unnecessary pain and discomfort, I physically wheelchair my relative to the car, and we left and never looked back!
This dump should be closed and torn down!!!!!!!

I have been a patient here at arroyo vista nursing center for about a week so far and I feel the staff are all hard workers trying to accommodate the patients to their best ability. The staff has been friendly and the food is like home cooked... I find it better then being in the hospital. The residents here are all pretty pleasant. There are movies and activities every day. I would recommend this facility to anyone who is recuperating from and medical health issue... it's no fun going through the healing process but arroyo vista will help you get through it

My grandmother is a patient here. She pressed the help button two times during my visit there, they took 10 minutes to respond both times . What if my grandmother was in pain or having a heart attack ? Then when they showed up to help it wasn't with a good attitude. Please avoid this place.

DEFINITELY AVOID THIS PLACE!!! My mother-in-law was there for a week. The facility did not want to discharge her promising the best care, treatment and therapy to help her heal. Now we understand this prison of a facility only kept her there to get paid from the insurance. The nurses were rude, didn t answer when she called and when they eventually went to her room they had attitude. They wanted her to relief herself when it was convenient for them as if she could go on call. When she did relief herself they would not change her diaper! Never did they offer her to FaceTime with the family. We discharged her against their recommendations and they were not happy! They didn t release her with the proper discharge papers and they never contacted her primary care physician. The video on their website is the complete opposite of what this facility offers! She was not treated as family and the 30min of therapy three times a week is not worth it! It is sad that facilities like this exist. Do not take your loved ones here. My mother-in-law is still recovery from her horrible experience.

Spent time in rehab following total knee replacement surgery. The most outstanding virtue was friendliness and competence of the staff. 100% addressed me by name on-sight from our first encounter. Service requests were handled immediately, my comfort was their priority. Plenty of staff was available, help with activities, showers, housekeeping at my fingertips. All services were cheerfully provided. My first time in a nursing facility, all my expectations were exceeded.

If you want your family members to be unattended this is the place. Especially with the doctors that they decide to hire can't do their job right. My family member has had to go to the ER due to their lack of medical care, which lead to something more severe. I can honestly say my family members was better taken care of at the ER before being transferred here. Avoid this place at all cost.

I was placed there by the VA. Expected to be there for 2 to 3 weeks for recovery from open heart surgery.
I found it to be counter to healing.
Very noisy, even in the middle of the night. I was never able to get a good night sleep. I think the best i was able to get was 4 hours. Most of the 24 hr a day noise was from the staff themselves
Some of the nursing staff did not even understand common English words, which led to many misunderstandings.
They bill themselves as " The Ritz Carlton of nursing care" they would be lucky to be the Motel 6 of nursing care.
I checked myself out against doctor's advice as I felt home would be better. I'm glad I did.

My dad was in need of a rehab facility following spinal surgery. After a quick tour with a nurse on staff I decided this was the place for him. It is a small hospital but the nursing staff is really attentive and prompt when a patient needs assistance. The rehab room/facility is also small but again the staff and rehab nurses really make the difference. The grounds are peaceful with a picnic area and water fountain. There's also a small garden. There is an activities manager that programs different activities that help keep patients alert, healthy and entertained during their stay. Food is good and the rooms are not too small although they could use an update but overall a very nice facility.

I am currently being cared for after a long recove...

I am currently being cared for after a long recovery involving an antibiotic PIIC Line that is placed intravenously for doses that are slowly administered into the heart, three times a day. A very serious process for my hip injury. I have been here for a month and I am scheduled to be released next week. On top of the COVID 19 pandemic, I couldn't be in a better place taking all into consideration. I am impressed at how friendly and professional the staff is here. The staff have always been respectful, courteous, and polite. The environment is warm, and friendly. The staff does, and have done their best to make me feel like I am a welcomed resident with the level of care shown. All employees here have been helpful to the extreme. The maintenance guy bends over backwards to accommodate and serve. The case management is friendly, very helpful, and shows quality professionalism. She made it work for me when it could have been problematic due to insurance issues. All the therapy staff have been very outgoing and helpful in every aspect. The food is great in any setting. The nurses are so caring and loving. They are very considerate, gentle and sensitive to the individual needs of the patients they serve. I consider myself to be blessed with having been given the opportunity to experience my stay in such a clean and well kept facility. The cleanliness is non stop and done so in a timely manner. The grounds are safe, quiet, and well kept, making the outdoor experience a peaceful place to relax. Overall, the food, rehabilitation, and care is excellent, giving me the sense of well being that is highly appreciated, to say the least.
Thank You, To All My Nurses, " * <3 * You know who you are. * <3 *" ,
From The Heart, ~ (R.N.'s), (C.N.A.'s), My Therapists, Maintenance man, all the ladies that make it work, case mgmt./social worker. and everyone involved in making A.V.N.C. the best. * WITHOUT A DOUBT IN MY MIND *
I would highly recommend this facility to anyone. Blessings To All Of You

The best care anywhere! Beautiful, clean, healing facility tucked up a canyon. Wonderful light, grounds, and garden.
Most important however is the exceptional, devoted, caring, kind, and tirelessly positive staff. From top to bottom, you will not find better caregivers and healers.
Thanks for saving my life Arroyo Vista!!

My uncle was in this facility to recover. The therapy team was amazing as they helped him get stronger day by day. Their communication is great whenever our family called for updates and his status. The nursing staff took great care of him. The facility is small, so he was familiar with the nurses he d see often. Would definitely recommend this facility!
