Overal the hotel is ok since there are not many choices in Sohar. But definitely not a 5* hotel and not up to Radisson Blu standards. Even though it is on the beach, it doesn t have a private beach. The kids club is shocking - a dark dirty room with no toys and no staff, the outdoor play area has broken swings, my child got hurt because of them. We booked a Junior suite and had access to the business lounge which is absolutely the worst business lounge we have ever experienced across Middle East and Asia. A business lounge with no service, some dates, nuts and raisins as snacks. Happy hour doesn t exists, one evening they brought cold sandwiches from the fridge, the next day didn t bring anything. The food in the lobby lounge is horrible, if you eat once - you will never eat again. The only good thing that deserves a praise and a 5* rating is their breakfast and the restaurant manager who worked more than his own staff. If we are coming to Sohar again, we will try Crown Plaza next time.

I stayed in this hotel 2 years back the room, service and rates were excellent.
Today 27/12/2020 i asked to see the room before i check in i was surprised to see the dirty carpets in the room spots everywhere and all interior is badly used and old . And all that in corona condition that rooms clean should be there priority. Also they asked me to wait for 15 minutes to finish cleaning room normally in this situation they shouldn't give or use the room that have been used for at least 2 or 3 days to finish sanitising and clean and use the other rooms that have been not used before for at least 1 or 2 days ...really disappointing.
For the room rate they asked for 50 Ro after long negotiations and 12 Ro for breakfast per person.
Finally i decided to leave and look for other options

This is by far one of the best hotels in Oman for same category, I liked almost everything in the hotel especially customer service and the way they treat guests, they are very friendly and professional, rooms are spacious and comfortable. Family friendly and quite economical hotel to stay I can say.Great location, really pleasant and clean rooms, but the thing that makes this such a good place to stay are the staff.

Also given surprise for retirement so nice too
The staff are great and friendly every where

Overall a good experience. I regularly find cleanliness issue at their sports club.

I was there just for dinner and I tried "be a cowboy" better than many other places in Italy

Nice, one of the best place in Sohar. The hotel has a good bar, perfect for following the Soccer World Cup. Also the main restaurant is lovely...

Everything is excellent from the breakfast buffet and dinner to the cleanliness of the rooms except for the mattress and pillow
Never comfortable

Beach side property..well maintained. Rooms and bathrooms are big size.but beds are proportionately smaller..and change for the pillows are due long back ..breakfast is good..Pools are nice along with a kids playground.

Lovely place. Good staff and service. Awesome view of the sea. Perfect for a weekend getaway. Has pool and playing courts. Excellent bar and amazing food nights. Loved the barbeque night!!!

Excellent hotel overlooking the sea and its five star restaurants I would recommend to visit

Nice hotel property but does not have private beach. Public beach access closes at 7Pm. Has 2 restaurants, AL Zaffran serves International buffet. Public beach is not cleaned regularly and front view of property from rooms is not an ideal one. Has nearby horse stables from where u can rent horses as well.

Stayed one night with family , good hotel , Breakfast items are few compare to other 5star hotels , not welcome staff in the restaurant. No enough serving staff in breakfast area.

Nice place although a little eccentric. Staff but very poorly organized to clear the tables at breakfast.

Relaxing place. Food is medium price range. Pool is very nice. The only negative is their carpet needs cleaning or replacement.

We only ate here at Zafran for Friday brunch which had a pretty outdoor seating area and a variety of delicious food options at the buffet for 14OMR (without alcohol). Clean facility, friendly staff, and a good atmosphere overall. A gem of Sohar.

An amazing place. A nice view beside the beach and away from the city noise. The staff are amazing especially Salim and Jessel.

Good ambience, good food and hospitality. However, food is very limited for Vegetarians.

A relatively newer property that is situated on the beachfront. The location is idyllic. The staff are professional, courteous and helpful. Check in and check out was a breeze. The Thai restaurant was awesome and the all day dining restaurant was also quite good. Rooms are clean and spacious, amenities are of a very good quality in standing with the Radisson standards and the quality of the bed and linen was top notch. To sum up it was good value for money and perfect for a weekend getaway!

This hotel in amazing location but rooms are expensive .

The food is delicious, if you have the opportunity to go the Brunch on Fridays are the best, the pool is not the best, but for the rest the hotel is very nice, organized and clean. You can go for a walk on the beach and relax.

It is a very nice place but what is really good about it, is the food. All chefs are super good and the food was so enjoyable. Try the Thai restaurant there, it is really good.

The room rates are high and the hotel restaurant prices are also high

I've been in breakfast restaurant , staff very nice and doing better effort to please their gust.
Wish the management good business seasons.

The swimming pool was good it also has a little sauna.

The restaurant ate varied and delicious, but it was served on plastic plates due to Covid 19
The crew handled very well
And their prices are appropriate now

The only negative is some diners in the restaurant and pool. It becomes a bit annoying for people who care about privacy

Spacious rooms with big bathrooms, surprisingly comfortable beds. Great staff, valet parking, jacuzzi + steam room. 2hrs from Muscat, 1.5hrs from UAE border.

The hotel is good in general but since the hotel is new, the carpet is supposed to be of better quality and requested additional services during booking and unfortunately I did not get it and the room seemed to have been hit and modified by a patch to suit the hotel level
