The beef on the burger had a weird taste as if it was old beef and the chips looked as if they were from mc donolds

Went there because it seems busy whenever I go past. Ordered the Paleo breakfast and my friend got the omelette. Not a lot of flavour...both dishes very oily to the point of getting an upset stomach. Sadly will not eat there again.

First time I went for lunch there meal was lovely and the staff were welcoming.

Walked in and person behind till was on their phone scrolling facebook, no hellos or nothing.
Our group of 3 all ordered food and were given only 2 sets of cutlery.
Coffee was okay but hot chocolates tasted very weak and watered down.
When the food came out it was bland, my poached egg was very undercooked i could almost hear it clucking, everything was tasteless and cold plus all of our bacon was almost inedible due to the fact it was burnt.
There was a hair underneath my hash brown aswel.

Cafe inc always has good service and range at reasonable prices

Only a third of the tables were occupied but the wait on food was 35 minutes. Both dishes had egg, but it was basically cold on both. These days its pretty standard to order from table but you order at the counter and there's no indication that's what you need to do and the waiters weren't very helpful about it. Eggs Benedict with salmon is a pretty standard option but they don't offer it here. Overall the food was decent but the service was a pretty big let down.

Great food, consistently high quality. Amazing gluten free (coeliac safe) options.

Would not recommend the muffins/sweet/savoury. The so called cheese and corn muffin had 4 corn bits not sure happened about the cheese and baking powder! The mixture was over mixed, hence very dry and hard. As to the berry and white chocolate muffin - no whole berries or white chocolate visible. I gave this review a 2star because the coffee has a nice flavour.

This Cafe used to be good, until the new owners took over . Today I ordered southern chicken wings . The chicken had been previously cooked then microwaved. My leather boots would have tasted better . The prices are astronomical for low quality food. I for one will not set foot in there again

Took my Dad visiting from Melbourne for a late lunch treat today (I reside locally so I thought of trying this place out). Coffee was weak and not hot enough, staff not friendly or welcoming. The guy making coffee completely ignored us and we waited a while for service. Drinking glasses were filthy and bottled water not filled up. The restaurant was not full and it was late around 1:30 pm. Food wasn't great. I had the burger and the coleslaw was was cut too thick and too tough to eat and the burger nothing great however, the food I felt was overly priced. My Dad just had a scrambled egg with bacon on 2 old slices of ciabatta but was charged $27 for this! What a crime - I have eaten better food at other Restaurants - won't be returning anytime soon.

Classy cafe with awesome, friendly and attentive service. Obvious that staff have pride in what they do! Visited on a busy Sunday morning for late brunch. Busy place!

I ordered breakfast delivery for my mother on Mother s Day. Whilst the website confirmed a delivery date and time, when the order came through to the cafe they believed it to be pick up. Ordered for 8am, received an email about 6:30 am saying it was ready. I live in Australia so due to the time difference, I didn t see it till much later.

When I called to discuss the problem, the instant reaction was not our problem . The manager constantly and loudly talked over me and then HUNG UP! She then refused to answer my calls.

When I finally was able to reach someone else to discuss it with, their attitude was basically your problem .

Told my mother what had happened and she said she has seen people return other wrong orders to them in the past and they have been refused assistance too.

TERRIBLE TERRIBLE SERVICE.

DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS. They do not care about their customers experience AT ALL.

A bit below average, service was a bit awkward, food below average. Took too long to wipe down our table considering we are in a pandemic. Took about 15 mins to microwave a scone.

This cafe is our go-to! Be sure to order a mocha over ice :) they have amazing waffles and a good range of vegetarian options! Lovely staff too

Lovely outside on a crisp winter day.
It was a bit too noisy inside for me.
Normally plenty of free parking at lunch time.
The food selection is excellent.
Prices are standard.
I will be back.

Been going here for many years and always had great food. Today the food was terrible, the cook should be ashamed. Poached eggs cold and when cut open cold water went through the toast. toast wasn't toasted and cold. Chicken in burger was over cooked and chips were cold and over cooked.
A real shame as it use to be a great place to go. Ruined lunch, never going again.

The ladies out the front were good.

First time here and was looking forward to chicken Burger... sadly they ran out of chicken. Bacon was really fatty, almost no actual meat. To top this off, hair in my salad.
Apart from that good coffee.

I eat grain, dairy & sugar free, I was disappointed the wall menu didn't state if gf df etc.only 1 item from the display cabinet suited me, a scotch egg which was a bit dry and I didn't eat the salad which was a bit of cabbage. I found it a bit expensive for what I got.

My grand daughter liked her fish and chips from the children's menu. The fish was tasty, this meal came with a very small container of sauce, when we asked for more we were told it would cost another $2. Not good value for the $10 cost.

This was my first and last visit.

One of my favorite cafes in Hamilton, consistently good food and very friendly staff, even when very busy. Highly recommended

Booked a table for 8 people. Shown to our table and given menus. Waited for some time and then went to the counter to let them know we were ready to order. Response was "You need to order at the counter - we don't take orders at the table." So collated the 8 food and drink orders and went back to the counter (where 3 staff were standing chatting). Started placing orders only to be told "we're out of rosti - but you can have foccacio." When ordering burgers we got "we've run out of fries." No apology.
Some good did come out of the experience.... we walked out and went to the pub across the road and had fabulous meals and awesome service. Try the pub. Cafe Inc clearly aren't interested.

Great modern cafe with great food. Really big portions. A balance between healthy and not so healthy.

Lovely food, very good wait staff, lovely place to be.

I understand that cafes get busy but it was actually ridiculous. They forgot half our order then told us to go wait at our table for a refund and they would bring it to us. 30 minutes later and we are still waiting for our refund and no doubt we would have been waiting another 30. So we didn t even bother waiting because to us it wasn t even worth it especially if they were going to refund in vouchers because we will not be eating here again.

Waited for long time for meals and they were all cold. Really dissappointed and they offered to pay for our coffees which was better than nothing. Only saving Grace was the lovely waitress.

Recyclable cups. Mulchable plates. Allergy friendly food that is good for everyone. No wonder this place is popular.

Ordered the mini grill. Was really nice ... will definately eat here again. Staff are really nice and friendly.

A great option for breakfast/brunch with friendly, efficient staff and great menu options.

1st time we've been here. I ordered the INC breakfast which included a shoulder lamb steak. The steak was a miss for me to fatty, but as a whole the breakfast was great, the staff were great and I enjoyed my breakfast. I will definitely be revisiting.

Good breakfast and great coffee and friendly service

Coffee came out spilt, dishes came out dirty. I ordered x2 omelettes and drinks. Both omelettes came out with coleslaw dumped on top. Cool cafe with great local vibe and reasonable customer service. Breakfasts are very hearty. Happy to try again but today s experience wasn t the best.

Fried chicken waffle: hard chicken not crispy at all, soft waffle thick like a sponge cake. Hardly finished the chicken can't even finished one waffle. What a disaster!

This used to be a great place for food and coffee. Unfortunately everything has gone downhill a bit. My coffee yesterday had no crema or frothy milk. It was totally flat with little greasy bubbles floating...horrible. My wifes chiabatta bread was barely toasted and the side of crispy bacon was barely cooked.

The food that we had was lovely, cooked well and presented well. I am not happy with how my order should have cost $25, as I calculated my prices before hand, and I was charged $27. I ordered a $13 bagel with an extra sider of avocado which is an extra $4, and a iced mocha which was $8. Also the same lady served me at my table and didn't place my order in front of me, but at the other end of the table. Also the way she put the food down was abrupt and with a sloppy attitude, she didn't speak, smile or even make eye contact. But when served my iced mocha by a different waiter, she was very polite and placed the coffees in front of us and actually spoke with us in a friendly manner.

Absolutely fabulous. Staff are all friendly, service is fast, and the food perfect. Everything is healthy, and a big chunk of the menu completely Paleo friendly, which is a rare find. We had no problems keeping 3 young children entertained on the pancakes and fluffies alone.

Whenever I assess a breakfast menu I order the Eggs Benedict. It gives a level play field. Cafe Inc's Benedict just ripped my title of best breakfast in NZ from Altura in Auckland. Well done Inc.

Cafe Inc happens to be my local cafe that I like coming in for a coffee and a bite.

Really great until group of sweating , smelly cyclists came in - ruined our eggs Benedict with the stink coming from these inconsiderate folk
Really.... coming into a cafe at breakfast time with the sweating body odour wafting over your table is gross
Perhaps a minimum dress standard before you lose patronage because of a handful of inconsiderates

My favourite Cafe in the Hamilton area. Good coffee and service with a decent selection of gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan food that is clearly labelled.

Good menu waffles were great and so was customer service .

Have just had brunch at Cafe Inc, and, really wish that I had gone else where. Food cold, sent back came back tepid. 3 of us eating couldn't make a decent meal between us. I am coeliac and thought I had a gluten free meal lol just made it home am writing this while on toilet - thanks Cafe Inc. This used to be my go to place, it's now my best to avoid place.

Stopped over in Hamilton and was looking for a gluten-free restaurant. Heard about Cafe Inc before, being gluten-free and Coeliac-friendly so I walked in for a try (they open Friday and Saturday evenings now)-- yummy Salmon bruschetta! Staff were very friendly too. Will definitely be back again.
