Arkansas Methodist Medical Center Review

I am always very thankful for the excellent medical care provided by AMMC. Specifically today I am thankful for the surgery department including Dr. Michael Bogatch, Orthopedic surgeon. Thanks also to the AMMC Urgent Care clinic who received me last week on a very snowy day and quickly identified my issue, and referred me on to the Orthopedic clinic of Dr. Bogatch. We all are blessed to have outstanding medical professionals like these right here in the friendly city of Paragould.

I'm sooooooo beyond happy that I found this practice! Dr. Qamar has an excellent bedside manner and really takes the time to listen and understand your health and your needs. I've never had a doctor actually take the time to really LISTEN to me before. Instead, I'm very used to doctors listening to me for 2 minutes and then rushing mr out of their office or treating me like I don't matter.

I had a baby here last week and it was a traumatic experience. I want to start by saying that Dr. Cesear is great and made sure I got the medications I needed. I came into my induction with a terrible migraine and the nurses treated me like some kind of criminal for wanting relief for my pain. They completely lacked any form of compassion. As I was moaning in pain from contractions and getting my epidural they stood beside me with their arms crossed, no words of encouragement or even acknowledgement but instead discussed how disappointed they were that their cruise was cancelled due to COVID. As I pushed during the actual labor, not one of my nurses talked me through it or held my legs.... Nothing! Finally a pediatric nurse came beside me and helped coach my breathing. One nurse, Amanda, did enjoy reminding me to put on my mask as I labored even though I had been tested for COVID and was negative. They completely lacked bedside manner or compassion of an sort. I would suggest going any where else to deliver. This should have been a relaxed, joyous occasion but the nurses here made it so uncomfortable and isolating.

Just crawled out of the ER,slow, uncareing,someone needs to wake the dr up. Worst ER, I have ever dealt with. Never seen an ER,so rude.paragould deserves better than this. Toldle disgraceful. If you can't do better than this. Close the doors. I will report this to anyone that will listen. Shameful

I only gave 4 stars for the fact that I carried a friend there because she had a lot of pain in her shoulder and it was difficult for her to drive. Her daughter also came to the hospital and the policy currently is only one caregiver per patient so I waited in the car, this only four stars. On any other day without Covid-19, I would rate it at 5 stars. It's really a decent hospital including the doctors and staff!!

Due to my dr being gone on medical leave I was forced to see Dr Carmack. Not only did she have to Google my diagnosis but refused to correctly fill out paperwork for my condition, putting my employment in jeopardy. I am a single mother of 5 children && receive no income other than my wages. When I tried to speak to her && her nurse about the issue she refused to correct the issue. I would not recommend going to her if you have another other than a minor diagnosis that will require you to need more than a bandaid. I sat in the patient room for over 20 minutes waiting on her for an appointment but she only came in for less than 2 minutes. Her over all concern is not that of the patients. If I could give this 0 stars I most certainly would. Now I have to find another doctor to take care of my children && I because we will definitely not be going to her.

Got here at 6:00pm and it took 90 minutes to be seen at all with severe back pain. 90 mins later I m still sitting in ER room with nothing for the pain and everyone is dragging their feet. 3 hours I ve been waiting, this is ridiculous and will never again set foot in this god forsaken place. Dr. Wilson is too damned slow to be an ER dr.

ER will not recognize a medical diagnosis nor follow treatment criteria. Hope someday they will learn and show compassion

This hospital's night staff needs to take refresher courses in whatever they studied and hold s certificate about. Very negligent, unprofessional, neglectful, disdainful, disrespectful, ignorant, totally wrong diagnosis given for fractured bone and gravel inside knee injury. The "doctor" reading the XRays definitely needs to take double refresher courses. I wouldn't send my pet pig there for health care.

I had an allergic and when there since 10:45 and they make me wait until 2 o clock AM it s ridiculous ! I almost walk off and another surprise is they only checked my chest and my bill is total 2200$ that s rip me off I wish I could give it a zero star
