You see the comment section waste of time I don t know what they got going on in that building but whoever is in charge need to be fired their whole setup needs to be changed because the way they run this so called family assistance center is horrible never have I ever been calling a number for weeks at a time on a Monday like they say and not get a ring or live person customer services is key to all businesses, this service center is a disgrace don t even bother I really hope the city of Phoenix see these comments because this place needs to be fixed to the extreme or shutdown they don t help

They say call on Monday for help. I have been calling for a month and never get through to a live person. I work but my check doesn't cover it all. The other reviews are spot on if I was doing drugs or something else I would be able to get all the help in the world for me and my son.

After being on hold for 2 hours this was a fail on you guys part and it's really sad

Heck yeah!!! I was about to have my electric cut off but this place helped me out just in time plus they gave me alittle more extra to cover two months on top of that very good place god bless this place

They do everything here if you're willing to keep an open mind being patient Etc you will find that they provide exactly what you need

Where do i even begin. I have been callin this # for yrs. And most of the time when i get thru by 815 all the appts are taking. And i dnt know if anyone has ever noticed but when u can get thru there's an automated message than dead silence. Almost makes u think u shuld hang up. Im actually calling it right now and if its not a busy signal its silence and just keeps saying connecting on my phone(this has been going on for a few months now) The women who answer the phone are rude and annoying. I've gotten thru a couple times and it was only because i had 3 ppl besides myself calling atv thr same time.

The staff are amazing. While it is hard to get an appointment , frustrating you have to call on the first Monday of the month and thank God for speed dial! Once you get connected for an appointment it is in a few days and as long as you bring all you documentation which they ask for at the time of your initial call , they are more than able to help you! I thank God that there is a place to go get help when I need it!

I have been calling for four days straight now and have yet to get a live person or an appointment! This place is supposed to be of assistance but yet you can't even get them on the phone! What a joke!!! I have NEVER asked for help since living in Arizona and now that I need help its damn near impossible to get it! If I was some tweeker on the streets homeless I'd have food stamps and rent based on my income instead of struggling and being denied food stamps. This is a joke!! So sad!!! Hard working individuals like myself need help and we can't even get it! But the people who work the system get everything they need and then some more! Lmmfao

Same as everyone else who try. Rigged and worse. Tried to get an extension on Water bill owe a small amount needed a week or so. There are no extensions and they closed the credit department at water department some time back, and give this this number to call. This is like being in a communist country. The money comes from Fed Gov't and they know there are hundreds in trouble but keep up systems reminiscent of bread lines in USSR or Venezuela. It's rigged and then used by the Head of the department of water for the Phx city as reason to shut you off even though you have kept water on for 10 years and never been on a government system or ever received government money. All needed was a little time. This is our politicians helping us. The city should be ashamed allowing this terrible system that just give false hope.

I'm so grateful for the help. The staff here is amazing,kind and I cannot say enough to express my gratitude for everyone. Thank you Karina for all of your help, your empathy and helping us in our time of need. We are so thankful!

They rarely answer the phone and when they do they're all out of money. Useless and inefficient system. If you're really really luck, you might be offered help.

I got assistance back in December of 2018 for me electric deposit 4 months later I see a deposit on my account again and was informed that the agency canceled the deposit and did a stop payment.

This place is okay people that work up front are kinda rude but Randy one of the workers is a awesome great person and very helpful and caring

They was there for me when I thought I was not going to make it. I have medical problems and my husband can't find a job, and he works harder than most people. New to area.

Really depends on who you get. Some are well educated and make informed decisions while other doctors appear to have no idea how to treat you and turn you away to the ER without a thorough evaluation first.

I called for the first time got through around 8:18 spoke with someone got an appointment for 2 days later. If you are trying to get rental assistance there are only limited amount of those. But reading these reviews can be very discouraging they discourage me but just keep faith alive and it might not work the first time but try again the next week they are really helpful. They staff is really amazing and helpful I'm one of many that get apptments and take the time to do a review so be hopeful like I was

a lot of people needing help these days and it is hard to get through I literally was dialing from two phones until I got through and when their appointments were full I just pressed to speak to a live person cuz I had a disconnect notice and they got me in I've used them twice after I had surgery and after they cut my hours at work and they have been wonderful

I get a appt finally after calling for months but only for utilities which OK that helps but now I may never get help with rent I never have tried to get help and now I make a appf for 7:30 its now 10:30 and no one seems to work ppl say they help I'm wondering who actually do they help I'm so disappointed in the city of phoenix

Extremely upset with this organization. Wouldn't even help my disabled mother with her APS bill because she "makes too much money" on social security disability. Bull....

This place is a blessing. The people are as helpful and understanding as anyone whose jobs this demanding. I do wish it wasn't so hard getting thru on Mondays.

its not easy, 8:00 am to 9:00 make calls like a fool, get a busy, REDIAL! over and over. If you get through, they will set an appointment to pay you utility with APS , SRP. You must have a shut off notice, if you get a notice and don't get through, dont worry. Call your utility company, get an extension. The folks Sunnyslope Family Services Center
are a blessing. They help.

how does anyone get help through this organization??? you can't get through!! they only take calls monday and the line is busy all day!! there has to be a better way!! is there ANYONE ELSE in town who can help?!?!?! i am losing my place because i was in the hospital. this place just contributed to a downward spiral that will see me homeles because I can't find help. thanks for nothing!

They helped me out with over $1000 dollars when I needed help. A real life savor.

I m so thankful for this place, they really helped my family out. The case managers were very friendly and helpful.

just left this place today and they deserve way more then 3stars,, people leave low ratings because they cant get threw to make an appointment?? Dial by 8am the workers having nothing to do with the phone lines being busy so stop complaining !! once you get an appointment make sure to bring all your paper work waiting is the longest part,, if you have all ur papers you're outta there within 2hrs they helped me with my rent and srp they are a huge blessing and i will be forever greatful!!!!!

1 Star is more then generous from me. I tried to get help with my rent for 1 month straight, called every monday starting at 750Am the signal is busy all the way until 10 am. What in the hell is wrong with this place? The saddest part is this estbalishment is 2 blocks away from me and I cant just walk in and ask for help. What a joke! Shut it down!!

Hate this place been trying for 2 months every Monday to talk to someone and no one answer and when they do the Women here are rude I think the only ones there that have a heart and try to help are the men very few Women will also as well.

Well I had a very hard time trying to get in touch with them, ileap that is finally a nice lady from 211 got me an appt they pd my entire electric bill an then some for another monrh. She's an angel, rosemarie thankyou it was quick and really nice people. Thankyou

Pam is the most caring nicest woman even when she lectures.. she is truly a godsend I will always have her in my heart... SUPERVISOR HE IS AWESOME

For 2 weeks on a Monday, as we were directed, we have tried calling to get an "appointment". Hundreds of tries and no answer, just a busy signal... Now, I am not sure what kind of set up they have there in regards to a phone bank and agents making those so called appointments, but this is ridiculous... I really don't feel like they are making any attempt to help the public if you can never get thru on the phone. Who has the time or patience to sit on the phone for hours at a time trying to get someone to answer. Not sure what else to do at this point cause I don't even think they take walk ins. Very disappointed in the City of Phoenix.

You cant get help unless you call on mondays between 8am to 10am and good luck getting through i tried many many times and couldnt make it happen. If you call after 10am all you get is an attitude from the employees.

How is possible to get help from this place
On Monday I star calling at 8 am after 40 min the call was answered by a voicemail
So said wait for next representative available never get answer after 2 hr the call just hang out so I try again and is was the same I did this all day and never get a person available to answer my call and I was on the phone for 8 hours and NO BODY HELP ME.

I think the people who truly need help are overlooked because of the way they run this. Calling on Monday morning is literally useless. You can start calling at 8 am but you will never get through until the appointments are full. They need to find some other way to run this because it's run horribly. I wish they'd read what people think about this place but that won't happen.

Busy signal for hrs after back to back calling. I need HELP!!!!!!!!! So sad and disappointing.

Called 211 times on Aug. 05. Called 194 times Aug. 12. Called 227 times Aug. 19. Busy sound every time. Its like they want people to be homeless.
I feel like hanging myself in their parking lot.
