Not sure which is worse, the website or phone help. The website doesn't show facilities that accept this insurance and the phone service takes you into endless loops and runarounds. Oh, but they do say that they will help you register to vote. All about the priorities.
The worst people every they don t do call backs unless the call fails on there end but what else can we do I need food stamps and a job at the same time f&!k Ahcces
I called on a Monday morning, about 8:45am, went through the selection menu, got transfered right to a person. Selina was very helpful, kind and patient-- especially because I had about 5 different things to complete on the call. She helped me through everything and it went pretty quickly. Thank you, Selina!
Been waiting on the phone for 2 hours and 36 seconds now just trying to get them to update my sons name in the different systems that they have so I can get my sons ahcccs card, with Mine and my first son I didn t have to call or anything
Horrible customer service not only do they not know what they re talking about or doing when I do get ahold of them but I have been trying to call and cancel for 2 months now because I moved out of state and can t get ahold of anyone. Always on hold for hours or sent through a loop to a dead line.
I got a job and have been trying to cancel the AHCCCS insurance for over a month now via online and on the phone. I now have to take time off work at my new job to go to their office and do it in person.
Literally useless, on hold only to be hung up 5 times. Could not get through. Cannot wait to change insurance plans. No customer service, and NO knowledge on policies between insurance plans and AHCCCS themselves. Kept telling me to call every number except what was actually correct. Highly do not recommend.
Do not expect much help. Phone calls are transferred into an endless loop or dead end at non-operational lines. Emails are answered with "don't quote us on this" disclaimer that admits information given maybe wrong (usually is). There's no way to check your current coverage, change plans, compare plans, find doctors or file appeals. And they can change your plan without notice. No accountability. No benefit coverage description. No medical standard definition. It's insurance run healthcare with no oversight.
Most horrible thing is trying to get transportation! The first time I got transportation I was 4 hours late! Every other time I tried I had to cancel my appointments becuase they couldn't make it on time! Today they couldnt get here on time I didn't get a call till 2:45 and my appointment was at 2:15! I'm very disappointed! All these appointments are emergency a and I can't go! Thanks guys!
