As an electrical contractor I'm used to seeing all types of wiring works. Argus must employ some of the worst installers by far. They either can not read wiring plans or have no idea what to install in each housing estate....Antenna lead in's missed, antenna points to tv's not ran or lack of correct cabling required for foxtel. They misinform customers about the cables required then return after the customers move in and charge them a fortune for installing cables they missed and is their mistake.

My well known and large builders std choice for installing our alarm and security cameras, not mine. Clearly the cheapest quality products installed by the poorest quality trades people and non existent support, even during the warranty period.
They are lazy, agressive, rude and overall offensive. You would have to have rocks in your head to use them by choice.

I built my home with Porter Davis and Argus has installed the CCTV. The DVR was faulty and they charged me for call our charge $200. Initially promised to pay back the call out after refused to reimburse saying crew has helped to install the app. It is funnny how only their crew knows how to install the app. Very unfairly charging customers and poor quality equipments. I do not recommend them at all.

Stay away! They cheat on customer, they put high end device in the contract but install low end device in the house instead.

Argus was booked via a Porter Davis construction build and theatre room setup was part of the contract. Argus left the wires inside the wall without any sockets, therefore left the job incomplete. Argus has been unresponsive to both site supervisor and I have tried to contact and schedule the job completion. It has been more than a month now and no response. Very unprofessional and not responsive despite paying money to complete a job.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! Please save your money, don't waste your money and time, worst service and products!

Argus Set up our Control4 through our home, everything was perfectly. They were very clear and understanding. Bent over backwards to help us.

We recently built a prestige with porter davis and they used these guys to install the video intercom system and honestly it was the worst system I have ever seen in my entire life. The video output was showing green trees as purple just to outline one of the many problems wee encountered. Had it replaced over 5 times and all the same issues I lf not more. Finally one of the guys mentioned it was a bad batch and it had been discontinued. Never previously mentioned in all the times we had called then, only to be replaced with other crap intercoms. My advise don't buy anything from them!

We recently built a prestige house with Porter Davis and they used ARGUS for all home entertainment wiring. Dealing with ARGUS was the low points with our build, they are overpriced, misleading and never returns calls. Our builder has been chasing them for months for an incomplete delivery of home theatre wiring and haven't heard anything back from them. They quoted us for "XLR cabling with wall plates", they did XLR but didn't include wall plates, when we asked them about it, two months later they responded "wall plates are for information purposes only", wth??? Porter Davis should choose their supplier better, ARGUS is giving them a bad name!

We built a home via Boutique and moved in May 2016. Our alarm and sound system still not fully functional.
I year ago they sent a young tradesman out who could not fix or figure out why our Alfresco speakers 2.1 would work?? He also said we would have to pay for someone to show us how to set up alarm which is not a very good one. After he left our file with all the works they did and notes about work not finished prop was left behind.
