Not sure why anyone would ever give this place any less than 5 stars! It's a treasure trove, an outdoor museum, a walk through history and a complete joy to explore!
This place is truly amazing, a must see when in Helena mt. When there try to find all the hidden firing cones.
This is a really cool place. It's a combination museum, art school specializing in ceramics, abandoned brick making factory and ceramic art retailer all rolled into one. They sell ceramic art in its many forms, but, even if you don't purchase anything, it's fun to go. It's fun to explore the grounds discovering the many artistic treasures obvious and hidden, and to see the remains of the brick factory. Helena is a really really nice town to visit with a lot of really interesting things to see and do, and I would say this is one of the two or three best things to see in Helena, particularly, if you enjoy art in general and ceramic art in particular.
Drove 90 miles to go there. Closed for pandemic. Hours online said they were open to 5pm today.
It was a wonderful experience visiting Archie Bray. :)
I love looking all the pieces of pottery. Really amazing. They put more out on mother's day. If you love art please check it out
The gallery, studios, clay business and grounds are every potter s Mecca! Can t wait to come back!
