My brother worked here for a few years then he got fired for drug addiction and they tried suing him for 500,000 dollars for tarnishing the reputation of their company and bringing down their employees.. completely illegal and I'm trying to talk him into suing them.. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy.

I'm always struck by the presumptuousness of such places as this in the expectation that you will be able to intuit all of their rules and regulations and protocols and policies and directions without sufficient signage or human help whatsoever. everything is aimed at making things as simplistic and easy for their own employees while downloading most of the onus for their protocol overload on everyone else.
I picked up two coils at the facilities down the road from each other and who knew each coil needed its own CTPAT inspection?? I was kicked out of a huge line up just so another employee could walk around my truck with a mirror on Wheels and do what another employee had just done.
This is a perfect example of the wastage and lack of Common Sense just to service protocols and drive up the costs, that pushes organized labour jobs offshore.
Protocols and policies should be there to service people. Not the other way around.

I had a very rude interaction with one of your welders, Kevin Berrill. He called me a weak brainless child when I was conversing to my friend nearby. When we asked him why he called me that he kept rambling and told us he worked for Dofasco and that everyone in my company feels the same way.
I ve been hauling steel coils from Dofasco for 20 years. I m amazed at the volume of steel being sold and distributed from their Hamilton location. The company has many long term employees which is an indication that they re treating them right. Fantastic company...
Hires fraud candidates without conducting their employment verification. A lot of candidates with fake employment and educational certificates are hired recently for IT.

They preach safety but don't practice it it's extremely dangerous working conditions we are often forced to work alone.. they put u into jobs with no training.. I'm surprised theres not as many deaths
An industry as strong as its product. Although there is room for improvement they are striving towards greater improvement to reach their goal of world class and I believe we'll get there!
