Great tour of the greenhouses and housing for my sister as a potential relocation. Staff appeared nice and residents happy.
The people thare r very friendly and very helpful they are very good at what they do and they know what they are doing and they do their job with pride iam a janatior there and I love what I do I have been there for 10 years and 11months I would recommend ARCA to anyone
They used to return my calls in recent weeks I have called left messages send emails and never have gotten any response from them. The Arc in New Mexico is scandalous.
I'm shocked at the high star rating. I interviewed with an elderly man a few years ago who was very aggressive and rude.
They have employees who have worked Decades for Arca, which they don t even pay 13.00 bucks an hour. But they start new floaters at 16 bucks an hour. This company don t Appreciate their employees. It takes allot of dedication and hard work to care for mentally disabled people. Not a good company to work for long term. Shame on you management team.
I love working for arca the staffand clients i work with are wonderful
That you Mechelle Baca again I love you so much you a beautiful person and you so caring. I remcomnd this office for sure great staff of ice clean cozy and right on point thank you again.
This place is actually quite despicable. I myself am blind, and I wanted very much to work here with people of disability. I am a highly functioning blind individual. I do things like mountain climb, snowboard/ski bike, I go back packing on dangerous trails, and I do much much more. I love the outdoors, and I do not let the fact that I can no longer see stopped me. I thought that I would be a perfect candidate to work here with the disabled client tell that they work with. They mostly work with people who have varying degrees of mental deficiency. I wanted to work in a group home. They told me I need to have a driver's license in order for them to hire me. This, is a lie. They just do not want to hire a blind person. I actually heard that they did not want to hire me because I am almost 7' tall, and I am blind. They did not want to deal with the hassle they thought that that would require. It really hurt me quite badd. I applied for a position at this place twice. The 2 ladies in charge of hiring shut me down with extreme prejudice. I have spoken with several families that have a loved one in care of this place. Not 1 of them had anything nice to say about their involvement with this establishment. This place needs to be inspected thoroughly. The type of things that go on in here are disgusting, and if half of what I hear is true you would pull your loved 1 out quickly. This place is not a good place. I just wanted to get a job and help out make it better for those with mental deficiencies. This place is discussed in, and needs to be reformatted. Unfortunately, nothing will ever be done about the discrimination that they exercise on a daily basis
