Complaint processing catastrophic, nothing is recognized by the customer! Pity! It was a long-term good cooperation! We have now ended this! Retailers are not appreciated.

At first the products were OK (3 seawater aquarium pumps). After 8 months and if there are problems, the company ignores all emails and inquiries. Spare parts should then be ordered for a fee after consulting the dealer. Guarantee and appropriate customer service seem to be a foreign word here.

I buy from Spain an aquamedic Evo 1000 skimmer is not even 10 months old and it has already been broken two glasses of foam, always in the same place, solutions that give me ridiculous, as I put it in a dishwasher that I do not have and wash it by hand, they send a few months after buying a glass of 500 instead of 1000 and after breaking again through the same site that I pay the shipping I refuse and they told me to send the skimmer to Germany and I get them to look at the skimmer they say that this Okay and what do they test and everything is fine and I have been waiting 30 days for answers with already 4 low a Ctenochaetus strigosus, pomacanthus imperator, Canthigaster valentini, synchiropus splendidus, centropyge bicolor, all this in 30 days and without a solution, just send the same damaged skimmer with another glass and without knowing DATE I RECOMMEND NOT TO BUY AQUAMEDIC PRODUCTS ..... THEY ARE THIEVES, SELLING AND THEN THEY ARE NOT CHARGED FOR ANYTHING

I just have to tell you what my experience was with Aqua Medic when I submitted complaints.
Case 1: Aqua Medic skimmer bought, which should have certain dimensions according to the brochure, so that it fits into my technical tank. Unfortunately, when I received it, I found that this skimmer did not correspond to the information in the brochure and was therefore too big for my technical basin. I complained about this to Aqua Medic and the answer was ... unfortunately this was a misprint in the brochure and I would be the first to criticize this. Okay ... so I was the only customer who had the combination Eheim aquarium with Aqua Medic skimmer. Since I urgently needed a skimmer, I rebuilt the connections so that I could use this skimmer.
Case 2: After a very short time, the network from the pump rotor was always clogged. Unfortunately, due to its construction, it was extremely difficult to clean and after a very short time the skimming always decreased extremely. In other words ... every month the skimmer had to be dismantled and laboriously cleaned ... at least as far as possible. A new runner would have cost around 80.
I also complained about this to Aqua Medic and received the reply that I am the only customer who complains about this. But he himself always cleans his runner with compressed air. That's right ... every customer also has compressed air in their home.
Case 3: The locks on the pump housings of three Aqua Medic DC pumps broke off. In the last case with my 12 month old DC Runner 3.2, which I use as a feed pump. When absent, this pump said goodbye and stopped delivering ... in other words, the technical basin was inoperative for several hours because the lugs on the pump cover broke off by themselves. Complained and received as an answer:

This is the first time I've heard such a complaint. While it did happen in a few cases in the beginning when we re-launched the DC Runner years ago, it has become an exception since we started using polycarbonate.

But of course I cannot guarantee 100% that our pumps will never fail.
