Applewood Plumbing, Heating and Electric Review

So I didn't get this company to install the water heater but I had the tech out yesterday for an estimate. Trailer park. Was quoted $6000 with club price and $7500 for standard price. Thankfully my brother owns his own heating and cooling business and he let me know this price was ridiculous. We had a different company come out to replace our broken water heater, 3500 quote. Idk what yall hourly us but a trailer park 40 gal water heater ranges from $700 to $1000 and roof jack is $120 to $150. So at most parts are around $1200. Now that leaves a very big gap for labor. Its nonsense. Will never use this scam of a company again with their weird memberships

My wife had scheduled an appointment with this company. They said between 4-6pm on one day. They never showed up. My wife then called to schedule an appointment again the next morning. They said yes, 12-2pm but if we get a tech free sooner then we will send someone out sooner. She said great. She went to work thinking they would be there at noon. Instead, they called her and said that they would be there at 10am instead of noon, so my wife took off work, went to the house to wait. No one showed up once again. She then called them back, and they said THEY NEVER CALLED HER. Dispatch number was on her phone and everything, and they did not want to admit that they were wrong, so we chose to CANCEL the appointment because apparently they arent for their own word, and used Dr. Drain. We'd suggest going there instead of using this terrible company.

My AC Condenser was 20 years old and incapable of dealing with extreme Colorado heat. These guys are recommended by several neighbors and they did not disappoint. Preston came by, we spoke about the issues and he was upfront about what needed doing, and my best options. A professional job, completed on time, with minimal fuss. Not the most expensive or the cheapest, but really high quality labor and warranty. I would recommend these guys hands-down.

Seth did an awesome job. He was really easy to talk to and very personal. Every time he walked into my house he put on shoe covers and covered his mouth for covid. Seth is a true professional. If anyone uses this company I would highly suggest ask for Seth.

Dan is a great plumber. He noticed issues and mistakes that previous plumbers had made some of which were costing me more money. I was able to correct multiple issues thanks to his knowledge and experience. Dan and Applewood now have my business permanently.

Anthony came out pretty late in the evening to take a look at our electric panel and give us a quote on a subpanel.

Despite what was undoubtedly a long day, he gave us fantastically kind and professional service. Appreciate the 5-star experience!

Great svc, and very clean/professional. Covid conscious too. Price on my particular proj was not cheap (I could have had someone do this proj for 300 less I bet). But again, if in a rush/busy, its better to have the good communication and cleanliness and accurate scheduling, than mess around with numerous random calls/Craigslist etc.

A fantastic experience! William and Christine showed up at the house, and were incredibly professional and courteous. They took their time to explain all possible issues and options, as well as walking me through possible future issues, and how to prevent. I would 100% call them again in a heartbeat!

Luke was great. Extremely professional, knowledgeable and polite. Even though applewood services are on the pricey side but it s well worth the money since they do very good quality work.

We ended up calling Applewood out twice in one week for two separate problems. First: Our sewer line had to be replaced. Ira came out, did a thorough inspection of the sewer line, showed us on camera where the issues were and then marked the line for replacement the following day. Replacing the sewer line took about 5 1/2 hours, the crew did minimal damage to our yard and was fantastic. Second: Electrical issue. Dan came out to investigate an electrical issue and found part of the cause was due to cut rate electrical work done by another contractor. He showed us where the issues were located and communicated clearly the risks associated (we were aware of the risks, which is why we paid the other contractor for the work in the first place). The work took two days, but Dan was thorough and completely resolved the issue for us. I've continuously had good experience with Applewood and they do fantastic work.

Daniel installed a light fixture above the kitchen sink.. The old system was not working. The new fixture improved the lighting area greatly.
He was efficient and very courteous.

The electrician was very nice. He did the work that was needed and cleaned up after himself really well. Our new bath fan works great. The time he spent was worth what he had to do to get the job done correctly. If we need more work I would call again or let others know for the price you do get the quality.

Cory won us back! We had a scheduling issue and were very upset as our heater was blowing cold air and appointment was canceled. After calling and voicing our issue, Erika was able to get an appointment the next day. We were skeptical but WOW! Cory D won us over!!!! He was on time, knew his stuff and had us warm and toasty in little over an hour!! Will be a longtime customer! THANK YOU CORY!!!!

Excellent job, my technician Dan was exceptional in expertise and service. His diligence cleaning the clog out of our sewer line was impressive. He adhered to all CDC standards of service guidelines and worked harder than any other contractor I have ever hired. I would not hesitate to have Applewood Plumbing in the future.

Nick showed up on time and even made a special trip out to scope out my drain in preparation for having the city inspector come out. He was very professional, courteous and helped out a lot. From start to finish I was very impressed with the level of service and professionalism I received from Applewood.

Our AC went out yesterday. I called in the evening and got an appointment for this morning. Stephen was awesome! Came early which was appreciated. He explained what was wrong with the AC, what he was going to do and gave us the price. All very straight forward. Very nice and courteous. We will definitely be using Applewood Plumbing and Heating again. Highly recommend them.

It was pricey yes but the work was top quality and way better than I expected. The plumber was extremely qualified and very professional. I would call them again if I ever need a plumber again. Very good work!

Mike was very professional and knowledgable. He was also very friendly and calm. He explained what needed to be done. And he was informative as to the situation as things unfolded. Also, when he realized the nature of the problem with the main drain line, he began clearing his schedule. He patiently persevered and was ultimately able to solve the issue. Mike certainly exemplified Applewood's philosophy that the customer standing in front of you is your main priority.

This company is top notch. Office staff was really on the ball, and made a quick appointment, the plumber, Mike, who came out, worked a long time to fix and clear up the ton of equipment he used. Everything was clean and neat and he kept a good distance with a mask and booties on his feet.Thanks for a great experience! Customer service was excellent. A real life saver.

Very knowledgeable, very outgoing staff. Communicated to me promptly of any scheduling changes, and tech arrived at the very beginning of the service window. So far, they have been awesome!

First and foremost, I was very pleased with the professionalism of every person I spoke with. Kudos, not only to the Technician, but the office and scheduling staff.
Seth was great. He was polite and professional. He kindly answered all of my questions, without hesitation. He was very, very thorough, ensuring nothing got overlooked. Lastly, he did not try to sell me anything I didnt truly need to get my A/C up and running the way it should.
I will definitely use Applewood in the future, and fully recommend them, based on my experience.

We had our furnace serviced and our technician Luke, from Applewood was very professional and did a thorough job. I would highly recommend Applewood. Although he did not show up until 4:30 and the service window was supposed to be from 2-4, Applewood had called us and asked if it was alright if they still came 30 minutes late. Most companies do not do that and just get there when they can. I have also had them fix my toilets and they did a great job with that as well.

Preston showed up on time, was very professional and an overall nice guy. My furnace was not working and he determined the motor needed to be replaced. The weather was turning cold and he went above and beyond to get a new motor and get me heat for the night. Kudos to Preston and Applewood! I am very impressed. that doesn't happen much these days!

Lamar did a great job. He stayed late & came back the next day to make sure my issue was resolved. My furnace is like new again thanks to him!

Horrible customer service. Avoid this company. They will promise you anything, but dont deliver. We called with a leak, were promised a tech between 4-6p, No one showed. After 2 calls, we were told they might be able to find a tech sometime tonight.
We spent an entire day without water waiting for them and are still waiting.
Rude, dismissive and unprofessional. Horrible!

Thomas is incredible! Perfect advice based on knowledge and skill; amazing skills in implementing the needed repair after attempting to remove the 37 year old shower cartridge which we knew had a low probability of success; helped me with the payment process and more. I can't recommend him highly enough.

Michael performed electrical repairs on the following day and he is amazing too!

We had an emergency leak in our bathroom. I called 4 plumbing services, and Applewood was the only 1 available to come out the same day. Their protocol was streamlined and organized. They sent me a picture of our technician, Ben, and an associate called me just before he arrived and just after he left to make sure everything went smoothly. Ben was able to find and fix the problem quickly, and was very thorough in figuring out why it had happened and how to prevent it in the future. I would highly recommend Ben, and Applewood!

I have lived in my 50 year old home for 14 years. One of my electrical circuits started to fail with lights blinking on and off and eventually going off. Dan from Applewood came on a Sunday afternoon and worked for three hours trying to track down the problem. He told me if things continued to act up to call back. The problem did persist so I called and requested a follow up visit. Dan came a second time and worked another three hours investigating each and every light fixture and outlet on the circuit, tightening up the wiring connections as he went. He eventually managed to resolve the problem. Applewood did not charge me for the second visit. They were great about keeping me informed as to when the repairman would arrive, and they followed up with another call after the work was done to be sure I was happy with the work. Everyone was very friendly and cheerful. I am happy to give Applewood my five star recommendation without reservation. They were great!

Michael was right on time and very helpful. He looked at both our AC and the furnace and gave us advice on filters and on replacement of the AC unit soon. I appreciated his honesty and friendliness. This was my parents house and I recently inherited it following my stepdad's death so we wanted to get everything checked out and make sure all was well. My parents have always used Applewood so we went to them and will continue to look to them for our service needs. Excellent quality service and honest feedback on condition of our furnace and air conditioner. Highly recommend!

We had Kyle come out to unclog our sewer line. He was super knowledgeable and let me be involved in the process. He gave us great tips for further projects down the line and always stopped to make sure I understood what he was doing before he did it. I gained a friend today because Kyle went above and beyond his job. I really appreciate that he stopped to listen to my concerns and was 100 percent trustworthy. I have worked with other plumber before and they are not nearly as nice, hospitable, or charismatic. Being treated like a friend instead of a job was what this company stands for and if you don't try them, then you lose out on amazing opportunity to work with the best above all the rest!

Luke was a very nice and efficient tech! He installed the thermostat that I had struggled with for two days and he was here at 7:00pm. I have heat again! I love Applewood. They ve maintained the heating, cooling and plumbing for this house for 20 years and never let me down.

Applewood Plumbing Heating & Electric just replaced our homes hot water heating boiler and water heating system. They did a fantastic job. My wife and I are retired and now we won t have to worry about the heating and hot water tank breaking down or leaking for many years to come. We feel lucky to have such a great company to work with and a 5 year 100% parts and labor warranty.

Kris was professional, accurate and extremely knowledgeable! This will be my go to company for all my home issues from here on out. Also they were 400.00 less then a quote from a competitor company.

Additional services provided by Dan, 9/20/20: photo check of sewer and drainage due to Emergency backup. He was very professional and skilled in evaluating and reviewing the problems. He quickly resolved the problem and double checked all other home drainage systems to ensure the safety and service of the overall system. BJ an Applewood Electrician, on 8/31/20 performed a complete electrical panel rewire, replacement, plus four basement lights, and several outlets all in one day, with a great attitude and courteous professionalism. Very impressive!

Jeremy returned for a fourth time, 9/1/20 fortunately for a new service each time, this to install a vanity faucet. Which he went ahead and actually rebuilt the full undersink system as well.

Jeremy has provided plumbing services for our home thrice before and we request him to return due to his high level of knowledge, skills and experience.

We had 3 toilets replaced to highest quality, installed in one day, along with several small miscellaneous plumb repair services that had accumulated over time. Also, hot water heater and associated systems.
