Came here closed.
Will comeback again later.
Moderate hike, with several view points. A bit crowded during Covid but some very rewarding views as well!
Great meeting place for hikers and people who would like information on the trail
Place was closed on April 1, 2021, cool building and grounds though.
I believe certain websites like this, should not offer a "scoring" method for reviews. If you read some of these reviews regarding bad experiences on the trail, c'mon man. Its mother nature, and all of the Conservancy employees work for low wages, and still have smiles on their faces. And how about the volunteers. Just say something nice or bounce. (as you kids say) :)
They are still closed. But I did appreciate the maps and information located outside of the building. I hope they reopen soon.
The Appalachian Trail Conservancy is an awesome place to get info on the trail. Harpers Ferry is a beautiful town and as the halfway point for the Appalachian Trail a must see! Full of great history, good people, and some great restaurants!
If you have any interest in the Appalachian Trail the Conservancy is a great place to go! The Appalachian Trail is a 2,180+ mile trail that spans the Appalachian Mountains and goes from Georgia to Maine in the United States. The Conservancy helps to protect, manage, advocate, and teach about the trail.
Really? Still closed with states open and the CDC revising Mask recommendations for outdoor activity. The ATC should be ashamed for not keeping up with guidelines and not advocating for hikers.
