This company has changed my life not only professionally but personally as well. It has made me more confident in everything I do and has provided me with the opportunity and knowledge no other company has ever given me. I have gained more business and management knowledge than I ever had in any classroom from my professors. After my internship was over in August 2017, I was offered a full-time position and couldn t have been more ecstatic to start my career with this company. I have been here a few months shy of a year now and have already been promoted and am up for another promotion in a couple months. If you are someone that isn t afraid of hard work to see quality results, and working your way from the bottom up, then I would recommend Apex Management to you.

Fun atmosphere!! My co-workers are an inspiration to me-- very driven and motivated. This job changed my life for the best, and I am honestly so intrigued by everyone I work with. Josh and my team helped me so much along the way. I can't wait to see what the future holds within this company.

Honestly one of the most challenging and rewarding jobs I ve ever had. Coming from a corporate setting(9-5), and diving into the direct marketing world is a swift transition. I encourage anyone that is contemplating working here to consider the facts of entrepreneurship and understand that hard work really does poise great results. I know that people have a bad stigma for this direct line of sales, which is a stigma you should avoid if you want to see your true potential in yourself. After working here, I went back to finish my 4 year degree, something that I assumed to be impossible from my standpoint. But after working at Apex I truly can say that I know more about myself and my capabilities then I would ve from a 9-5 salary job. Lastly, if you are still working here, I encourage you to not quit and reevaluate yourself and your goals, this is the only job without years of sales experience and a MBA that you can still make a nice salary and change lives.

I can in full honesty say that I would not be where I am today without the experience I gained in this position. I walked in the door for my interview with no real job experience except for some time in the military and some college classes that I dropped out of. I was with the company for a year. In that time, I learned public-speaking, teaching/education, how to keep an office productive, interviewing, how to build a team, how to LOOK AFTER that team, business ethics, sales and marketing, managing a territory, client relations, and maintaining business relationships JUST TO NAME A FEW. I took the skill set that I learned from Apex with me on my new position, and I am now one of the only people without a college degree at my office simply because of my experience with Apex. Every success I have in sales and truly discovering my passion for helping people can be attributed to this company. With that being said, this is not an easy job. It never will be. If you're looking for some 9-5 job where you count the minutes until you get off work while you slowly get carpal tunnel syndrome while mindlessly pounding away at a keyboard, this won't be for you. People want to improve where they are in life every day, yet somehow think they can just do the bare minimum in order to make their situation for themselves and their family better. This is strictly for people who want to make themselves a better, more marketable, and more professional human being. Nothing but the best from me.

I applied for a Marketing Coordinator position via...

I applied for a Marketing Coordinator position via LinkedIn and within one day, Apex Management Group called me and scheduled an interview for the following day. Apex calls itself a marketing firm so I assumed the tasks would be typical for that position. Before the interview I researched the company and couldn't find too many specific examples of their services. I also read on various websites that the position is really intended to recruit people to sell Verizon Fios door to door. The job listing said nothing that would allude to this so I kept the interview.

When I came in for my 2:15 interview, I was not seen until 2:45. There were many other people waiting to be interviewed. The questions were typical interview questions and then the hiring manager began to tell me about their biggest client, Verizon. He gave me a brief lesson on fiber optics and then revealed to me that any entry level hire must start out as a sales person for Verizon Fios. I asked him how exactly hires were expected to reach out and educate consumers on the products and he told me that it was mostly sales calls. I then asked if the clients were residential or commercial and he said they were all residential. He then asked if I were to get a call later that day for a second interview, would I be interested. I said I would no longer like to proceed with the interview process.

Overall, the few people I spoke to at Apex were very friendly and enjoyable. The downside is that the job listing is not transparent. If you are interested in fiber optics and enjoy a sales role, this job may be favorable. If not, just know that everyone is expected to start out in that position.

If I could give this company more than a 5 star rating I would. The service they provided my wife and I went above and beyond what we had expected. Their staff is incredibly helpful and quick to respond, especially since I m not very tech savvy. I never worked FOR Apex but I am a loyal customer who got the pleasure of working directly with one of their account managers, Ryan Mace. The information he provided helped me to better understand the technologies used and the fiber optic technology in general. I will absolutely recommend them to family and friends.

Definitely not a company to judge from reviews. I didn't know what to expect coming in for my interview, but I am so glad that I came in. Apex has helped me grow as an individual and career wise. I gained so much knowledge and experience here, where as other places doubted me due to being a recent grad. Thanks to this company I have been given the opportunity to grow as a person and feel confident in myself and in my career. The staff being so kind and caring was a bonus!

If I could leave zero stars I would. Scheduled an interview for Monday morning at 830AM, I arrived at 8AM, no one was there - lights were off, door was locked. Come 9AM no one had yet to arrive. All calls to listed cell phones were ignored. Incredibly unprofessional.

Constant growth, change, upward momentum and skill...

Constant growth, change, upward momentum and skill development in a productive, motivating, and positive yet competitive environment. I started with Apex in June of 2018, shortly after I graduated college. I came in as an entry-level management trainee, a position that I believe truly helped to steer me in the direction I needed to go. This position has given me an immense amount of knowledge and skills, all of which I know I will take with me for the long run. In working at Apex, I learned that there is no better motivation than yourself. This company offers a great promotional program that will keep you pushing yourself for more. Apex as a company encompasses their culture and values in full; where resiliency, determination, a strong student-mentality and an undeterrable attitude are crucial to success. For me, this job was an opportunity to learn face-to-face sales skills and develop the mentality needed in order to be sucessful in the field of direct marketing. Working for this company has helped me in more ways than I thought possible. It helped develop my professional business skills as well as my personal life skills; strongly due to the constant challenge to raise the bar and strive for better - for yourself first and foremost, and the company second. While it was very fast paced and oftentimes exhausting, it easily taught me the most out of any job that I have had - and Manager (& CEO) Josh Rufolo is to thank for that. Throughout my experience in various positions over the years - I never once felt as though my manager was my mentor nor my teammate. Josh and his company showed me otherwise the very first moment I walked into the office. A caring and respectful boss, hard working yet personable manager, and a tremendous leader both to his colleagues and employees - Josh became a role model to me instantly. He not only recognized the work I put into the position, something that I never experienced from any prior managers, but he recognized the hardships I faced as well. Josh, his assistant managers, the office staff, the team leaders, and every employee he hired - are a huge part of what made Apex what it was to me. Alongside the people, come the skillset and overall leadership that was demonstrated by the company as a whole that I will be forever thankful to have personally learned and taken from.

Unfortunately, I have decided not to move forward ...

Unfortunately, I have decided not to move forward with my application for employment here. Here are some positives:

The management staff are young, excited and enthusiastic.
The office is clean and neat.
Josh is EXCELLENT!

Here s why I am saying NO to working here.

1. During the phone interview, I asked the recruiter if this was a job that is paid by commission plus base. Her response was not very transparent. She referred me to the upcoming interview for that answer.

2. When I arrived, I had to complete a paper application. This is pretty indicative that this company will pretty much hire anyone who says yes to an interview.

3. While I was waiting for Josh to finish another interview, I heard the receptionist calling other people giving them the same verbiage she gave me. They are literally just calling all the applicants and offering an interview. It doesn t matter what s on your resume.

4. During my interview with Josh, I felt as if he was selling me on the role. I didn t have to sell myself. Josh dumped tons of information on me about the role instead of the receptionist who called me for an interview. My question is: why not put what the job is in the job posting on the web? I had to go to an interview to find out. What s worse is, Josh explained that in the next interview, he would go into more depth about the job, the pay structure, etc. I felt as if Josh was holding information about the job from me. Reserving it for another interview.

5. From what I gather, they want you to believe you can transition into a management role which leads, coaches and develops people. That after 2-8 weeks of training (training pay is only 2 weeks) (training consist of selling Verizon Fios), you will be considered for an Account Manager position and finally a Manager, which handles payroll and other HR functions.

Josh explained the company as if it is an actual marketing firm, which is hired by other companies to infiltrate sales teams, coach and develop them, and make sales results go up. But what I can CLEARLY see is that this company is simply a third party vendor for Verizon Fios. You aren t a manger in training, you re a sales rep. They talk about giving you a team of 2-6 people to manage but that s if you stay a full 5-10 months and achieve management status. Seems like MLM to me.

I don t recommend this job to people trying to get a job which helps them pay their bills or get ahead in life. Also, be careful in reading these other reviews on Google. Sometimes employers instruct their employees to write good reviews on purpose in order to beef up the overall review score.

I do recommend this job if you don t care about anything else. You just need a job. I m not in that boat. I need a steady, garunteed Income worthy of my time doing the work, and the experience I bring to the table. If we can t talk about the pay structure during first contact, (not the amount of pay, but the pay structure), then I already know the deal.

I m pretty upset I went to this interview. I took time off a real job to go. Now I am out a couple of hours of pay. Not good. Don t do it. #applierbeware

The building from what I seen during interview was well established and formal for the industry. The only issue I had felt like the job description was a bit misleading and irritated me that it's selling door-to-door Verizon Fios to places it's just being established in select neighborhoods.

I interviewed with this company not knowing much about the position. First interview with Josh Rufolo - learned everything about the company and really sparked my interest in moving forward. After being here for a couple of months I've found my place here and love every day/opportunity/goal I achieve. Highly recommend Apex Management to all with interest in Sales/Marketing experience.

I worked for Apex Management Group for 6 months and got promoted into management. I now run an office in Pittsburgh and I love it. Definitely not the easiest thing I ever did, but that was why I was so motivated by it. The training program at Apex is challenging and that's what I was looking for. I never worked somewhere that I was not only challenged in the workplace, but also to change and develop myself personally. This constant stepping out of my comfort zone and getting better at least 1% better everyday made me realize quickly that I wasn't starting a job at Apex; I was starting my career.

I worked fulltime at Apex for just under a year. Throughout this time, I gained an immense amount of invaluable knowledge on management, sales/marketing, and client relations. Apex Management afforded me the heightened sense of social perceptiveness and determination needed to be a successful manager. Overall, the high energy employee culture is unparalleled and management is truly invested in aiding you towards your personal/professional goals. I would highly recommend Apex Management Group to all aspiring business professionals - You will wake up everyday excited to go to work with a company where you can make a difference!

I worked at Apex for about 7 months and learned a whole lot from them. Everyone at the office only looks to help someone improve as there were incentives set in place to encourage that sort of culture. If you're looking for an office that will drive you to succeed, definitely apply to Apex Management. The experienced I gained from working here is invaluable!

When I applied to this company, I had no expectations, no idea where my life was going to go. I received a call from Apex I scheduled an interview, I told my husband about it. I guess because Apex staffing, my husband told me not to go because it was a staffing agency. I've always had my own mind, and never been much of a follower. Therefore went in for the interview, and to be honest I'm glad I did. I met with the manager Josh, he was very sharp, professional explained the process cleary. Any and every question I had he answered swiftly with ease, and confidence. He told me "If i were to be selected for the job, I will receive a call at 5PM", and he kept his word, they had called me right at 5PM for a second round interview at 10AM. I was beyond excited, I hadn't worked since I had my 3 year old daughter. I went in the next day at 10AM, had a interview with Cristene the HR manager. She was a beautiful woman inside and out very bubbly, made me very comfortable in my interview. She went into more detail about the business, what their plan was for the future, what direction they were headed in. It was very informative, she also advised me that if they were intrested in me fulfilling the position "they would call at 5PM". Waiting eagerly, and patiently like she said when 5PM hit I received a call! It was Cristene calling to offer me the position, I was so enthused! I have been with this company since April, it has been so amazing, you're not just a number to them they care very deeply for each, and every one of us. Any problem, or issue I have surrounding my children, they're more than willing to help, and also help try to find solutions with me! That to me means the absolute world, and for that I will go up and beyond as their employee for whatever they may need. They have worked to make me much more professional, well rounded, and to be goal oriented. I love that this is not a job, this is a career! These aren't co workers they're family! Its been an absolute pleasure, and life changing experience! Thank you Josh, Cristene!

Went into this office for an interview and couldn't have been more impressed. From the girl at the front, to the gentleman that interviewed me everyone was very professional and friendly. This is an organization that I would love to be a member of. I think I would have a successful career with this company and look forward to their call.

One of my marketing professors at VCU recommended Apex to me. I was a little skeptical at first, especially being a part of a large interviewing group, but after sitting down with Josh and Ryan for my interviews I realized this was a company I could really grow with. After comparing with the other marketing companies in the area, I am thrilled I have decided to move forward with Apex. I am grateful for the recommendation from my professor because it has provided me with great experience, knowledge, and growth opportunities.

I left my previous position due to bad management and a poor work environment and I can honestly say coming to Apex has been a complete night and day experience. Incredible culture and the upper management takes the time to help you adjust to a new company and responsibilities, and you can see they really invest in their people. Great place to invest your time and efforts. I'd recommend them for recent college grads all the way to seasoned managers.

Guys, seriously.. only work here if:

Guys, seriously.. only work here if:

1) You want to grow as a person. I ve worked many jobs before this and all it consisted of was me clocking in, doing some work that helped advance the company, counting down the minutes, and then clocking out. At Apex, I learned to grow MYSELF. I LOVE learning and Apex taught me personal, emotional, business, and life skills that I never learned in college or in any other job. I am a believer that the more you grow as a person, the more wealth can be acquired. Not only did I grow the most with this company, I also made the most I have ever made. I am seriously forever grateful for the lessons and skills I ve been taught here.

2) You want a positive and fun work environment. Side note: I HATE CUBICLES. It makes me feel like I m withering away and dying of boredom and lack of social interaction. For the most part, I m a very social person. I feel with all of the coworkers and clients I got to meet, my days went by so quickly. Plus, everyone at Apex is so uplifting and encouraging to one another. Whenever I (or anyone) was doing really well, the office was super supportive of us. Not only were the coworkers great, but the staff as well. I feel like admins play a HUGE role in the environment of any company. All of the administrators, especially Cristene, were so friendly and helpful. She was always so fun to talk to and made my day that much more awesome.

3. You want your voice to be heard. My managers in the past used to just thank me for my input and then throw it to the side. But here, whenever I spoke with Josh, he always made me and my ideas feel accepted and valued. I find that most managers don t know how to listen to their people or have the emotional capacity to understand their employees, but management here is just way different. Hands down one of the best managers anyone could ask for.

I could write a book about my experience at Apex. All in all, it has been the most life changing of all jobs. If you re considering working here, just do it. It will teach you things that you wish you would ve learned earlier. And it will teach you things about yourself that will surprise you.

Because of Apex and what I learned here, I am using that knowledge and experience to run my own company today. My success truly wouldn t have been possible without learning from such caring and amazing people like Josh, Cristene, and all of my coworkers. Seriously, thank you all.
