Annular is a climate visualization tool that displays a full year of weather history for any location on Earth. Users can search for a city or click an interactive globe to see daylight hours, temperature, precipitation, and humidity rendered as concentric rings, with one slice per month. Weather data is drawn from NASA POWER and the Open-Meteo Archive API, while location search uses Nominatim from OpenStreetMap and globe geometry uses Natural Earth data. The application is built as a single HTML file using D3 v7 for rendering and is hosted on Vercel. Recent searches, weather cache, popular places, and visitor sessions are stored locally in the user's browser.
