Anntony's Caribbean Café and Coffee Bar Reviews

This is a one-of-a-kind restaurant in Charlotte. I am fraternity brothers with the owner Anthony and absolutely adore being greeted by him every time we ve came in there to eat for well over 15 years. We started at the location downtown and 100% prefer this one as it has an awesome Caribbean environment, one of a kind food that you have to try, and just good old fashion service that literally makes you feel like you re on vacation when you re in there.

My personal recommendations are the pan fried grouper, potato salad and an absolute must add quarter toss between the calypso rice and the Rasta pasta!

Also the alkalized water is the only restaurant that I know of that you can get in Charlotte.

Never ate at a restaurant like this anywhere else in one of my personal most favorites in Charlotte.

Extremely disappointed.. It s like they didn t even care, even thought the order cost too much. Plantains- BURNT!! And that s all I could taste, the burnt flavor.. the fish was over seasoned.. the best part about this was the cornbread.. I ve wanted to try this place for the longest.. I so regret my decision to go through with it..I doubt this is authentic..
Please beware.. You would think that due to COVID businesses like this would care more, but I guess not.. never again.. I m disgusted and extremely angry. After reading how this restaurant is responds to other reviews, it s clear they do not care and are rude. When your doors close for good, remember, you guys only cared about a profit. Quality clearly means nothing... really hate the times we re living in. People used to care about people

My favorite so far are those tangy island wings and the Kalamazoo greens.

Food was delicious! Service was great! Restaurant and bathrooms clean. All over great vibes.

Tasty caribbean/Jamaican food. The chicken fingers (kids menu) are tasty, along with the delicious fish sandwich. Try and potato salad and restaurants pasta too. The decoration/design is fun. Only complaint is they close indoor dining 1 hour before the restaurant closes, which is weird.

Please beware of this place! Because it's not good food. I just picked up a curry chicken plate with potato salad and Mac and cheese and beef pattie. Which none of it was fit for eating. The beef pattie had dried out under the heat lamp and Mac and cheese was dry and disgusting and the potato salad was the worst I have ever had in my life. The curry chicken was overcooked and had no flavor. This is my 3rd time going to Anthony's and every time I have been disappointed. But what I experience today showed me why it's never a crowd at this place. Because it sucks and the food are in the trash.

Delicious family comfort food, recently updated their menu this past summer, added a lot of new items and many more bottled beers. Great bar area , staff is fast and very helpful and knowledgeable if it's your first time ordering. Fantastic Vibe and mellow atmosphere. Great place to watch sports and Monday Night NFL games.

This place has the best wings not of the buffalo variety. Ribs are fantastic as well. So much flavor. If you get the sauce at the grocery store (and you should) you'll love all the great things they make at the restaurant.

This is one of the worst Jamaican food spots in Charlotte that I have been to. Not even real Jamaicans cooking the food and the sides are plain with no seasoning. Go to iries if you want good Jamaican food because this is not it!
