Everyone I ve interacted with at this hospital has been more than friendly. I ve never had any issues with anything or anyone. The doctors are beyond amazing. They are genuinely concerned with the well being of their patients. My daughter sees quite a few different specialists here and they have always had her best interest at heart. They follow up to see how she s doing and speaks to her about what s going on and not me. And to me that is the best part. I can tell them what she tells me but she s able to tell them in her own words and they listen. Thank you!!!!

I've never been impressed in a hospital as much as I've had when we had an ER visit with my 4 year old to Lurie's. Dr. Heller, the nurses, and the staff has been nothing short of amazing. Very mindful of my child's stress while cautious about her illness. An ER visit is never a pleasant visit for any parent but the care we have received has been nothing short of amazing!

This hospital has saved my life three times. I was born in 1972 with a congenital heart defect. Children s Memorial performed an arterial switch heart surgery on me at one day old, and performed Mustard s Procedure on me when I was 13 months old. This was a newly discovered procedure to correct a defect that caused blue babies with congenital heart defects. 42 years later, they still had my records and doctors who specialized in adults with these defects. They transferred me to Northwestern Hospital to put a pacemaker in me. 4 or 5 years later I had another congestive heart failure and they installed a heart pump with which I am living today!

Took my son with a splinted leg on Memorial day, they took care of him right away. ORTH team did an awesome job on his leg, the whole staff was attentive and caring. I saw the X-Rays of the splinted bones before and after the alignment procedure, they kept us updated all the time, and I felt our son is in good hands, they did a awesome job on him, couldn't ask for more. Great nurses, great doctors, and great all other staff. A big thank you from my heart and our family!

PS: they even have a specialist that plays and distracts the child when IV or other unpleasant procedures are made to him.
