Couldn't ask for a better Vet than Dr. Ann Brooks... I've been going to her since 1994.. she treats your pets like Family members.. not just animals.

AMC has been our vet for over 20 years. Our 10-1/2 year old Great Dane daughter had started symptoms of another UTI (3rd time this year) on Friday afternoon. I called AMC to ask if they could refill a prescription for her. Since this is a recurrent issue, Dr George wanted to see her for testing. So that our girl wasn't miserable with UTI symptoms all weekend, they squeezed us in at 5:00 that evening. Although we had to wait a bit for Dr to finish with her "scheduled" patient, she came in as soon as she could and took the time to evaluate Sophie; she didn't try rush us out. The doctors and staff truly care about the pets they treat (as well as the pet's humans). Sophie is feeling better....Thank you AMC!

Dr Brooks is amazing! She is knowledgable and always takes time to really care about my pets. I will continue to trust her to care for my 4 legged children for the rest of their lives!

I love this vet. I was in and out in 20 minutes for shots. My usually nervous dog loves the doctor. I will be back. Prices are affordable and they don t try to sell you stuff you don t need.

Animal Medical Center is more than a veterinary office, it is a group of people that Love pets. They understand the difference between animals and pets. Pets are a part of the family and vicariously a part of the Animal Medical Center family. Dr Brooks is a Doctor that not only administers medical assistance to my Trixie but also Love. She talks to Trixie and encourages her. She even distributes hugs and kisses. Thank you to Dr Brooks, Barb, Anne and everybody at Animal Medical Center!

The staff were friendly and helpful. The vet took her time with us and explained everything. She answered my questions. My only issue was the cost, but that was expected as we had our yearly checkup including shots.

Always a wonderful experience at Animal Medical Center. Most recently Dr. Brooks took wonderful care of our dog and even called after hours to check on his progress. Highly recommend.

Would never take our dogs anywhere else. Everyone here really seems to care about the patients and their owners.

Went in because my dog (Frenchie) wasn t able to walk properly. They fit me in same day for an exam, were able to do xrays in a short time and determined that he broke part of his tibia! Yikes!

Great surgeons on staff, they were able to pin his leg and so far no complications.

I love my Dr and this place! I took my dog in for a sedated nail trim, the staff does an incredible job, teamwork with the Dr in charge. I said ok to shots, and that got more complicated and my bill was $400. I realize my dog is set for a while but that's way more $

Love the office! Front staff have been there for a long time and are always so friendly and helpful. Vet Technician's that I have delt with are friendly and caring. Dr. George is great she takes the time to listen, explains things very well and she is very compassionate. Harry Gilbert gives a big shout out to the this great team!

What a wonderful place. I brought my sick dog in and they immediately took me in and took care of my dog . Not knowing how sick my dog was they let me know what needs to be done and sent me to the doggie ER. Where she sent all my dogs info to and they took care of my sick dog. Would highly recommend this vet clinic!!

We take all three of our fur babies here and the doctors really care about the animals. Dr. George is our favorite, but anytime we have had to see another onsite vet.... they were amazing too!!!

Caring staff. They try to balance your pet's needs against the cost so they tell you what's urgent and what isn't. It's especially nice since we have an older dog and don't want to put a lot of money into him.

Had to write a review after having multiple above-and-beyond experiences with Dr. George at the Animal Medical Center of Crystal Lake. We have always been treated so well with all the Docs that have taken care of our lab but Dr. George is incredible. She is always so professional and not only provides great care but listens to your concerns and goes out of her way to make sure they are taken care of.

Our Australian Shepard was diagnosed with cancer the fall of 2018. We went through treatments with Dr George. She and her team were AMAZING through that process. Dottie went into remission, but the cancer came back just over a year later. We began another treatment plan under the guidance of Dr George and were able to enjoy our wonderful girl for another 3 months. The love and care of this professional and dedicated team gave us an additional 16 months total with our girl from when cancer first entered our lives. Words can never express our gratitude. If you love your pet, I assure you they will be in good hands with this office.

Dr. Scott is AMAZING!! He will care for your pets in the most genuine and loving way. He is fully present during our visits and approaches any issues from a holistic point of view. He s not about prescribing drugs and or surgery for conditions that don t need it. He really listens to you and gets to know your pets. We have been to many vets and no one is better than Dr. Scott. We have to drive 30 min each way to see him but it s worth it! Thank you for taking care of our pups!!!

I ve been holding a grudge for the last 9 months since my last visit. I had a dog who fell ill suddenly, my husband and I brought her in. Tests were run on her. She had an infection and enlarged heart. Was given antibiotics and was told her enlarged heart was no big deal. Nothing more was said about her heart. There was no guidance as to what we could do to prevent anything from happening to her.
Fast forward a few weeks after that appointment, my dog got slightly excited. She dropped dead in our home. Called the office to dispose of her body. Not one ounce of compassion was given during the phone call. We arrived at the office and the vet tech or vet assistant that was there that night was concerned about payment right away. Again not an ounce of compassion. After we had to carry her dead body inside, we were told to just put her on the floor. There was no table of any sort that she could be laid on. Again not an ounce of compassion was given that night. We wanted to say our final goodbyes to her and the vet tech/assistant stood there and watched. She didn t give us a moment alone with our dog.
Fast forward again after I received my dog s ashes and foot prints, I received an email saying the still had my dog s blanket. Well I had her blanket at home with the rest of her belongings. There was a grieving family out there and yet they didn t even know where this sentimental item belonged. I have repeatedly informed family and friends about this place. Not sure why my family was treated with such disgust. I hope in the future the staff there can find that ounce of compassion that we needed that night and give it to another family.

Dr. George and the entire staff is always competent, friendly and really care about your pet (Reba). I have been coming to this vet clinic since 1986 and have always been pleased with the services.

I am happy with the vet care I receive. What does bother me about this office is that in the 3 years I ve been coming here, I have always had to wait 15-20 minutes for my dogs to be seen....even when I am the only patient in the waiting room. This is very frustrating as a patient.

The nicest, kindest people work here. They are always upfront about everythjng, give you numerous options for treatments for your pets. Went above and beyond when we had to put our kitty down and were so kindhearted and sweet.

I was referred by a friend! This office is very friendly and great!! Nova loved them all!! She broke her toenail a few days before we adopted her and this was the first visit to the vet with us, and we got it removed!!! She is home recovering and the staff was awesome!!! I highly reccomend them!!! We will be back!

I was very happy with the whole experience. The doctor and staff were very caring.

Our experience with this clinic has been nothing but positive for over four years now. From setting the appointments, to how our furry buddy is treated while being looked over, to overall cost- we are always extremely pleased. The staff is very courteous and the clinic itself is just the right combination of comfortable and professional, but the real shining star of our visits is Dr. Jarrett. Not only does this veterinarian handle his patients with great care and warmth, he has an easy nature that allows his two-legged clients to never feel rushed or as though they don t have time to address any questions or concerns they may have. The overall combination of friendly service and excellent standards makes this not just a place to take your fuzzy companions, but THE place for premium care. We re very grateful to have found such a gem and look forward to continuing our relationship with this clinic for as long as we have wagging or twitching tails in our home.

We have a Rescue Rottie who makes examinations difficult. Dr Scott and his assistant were great at reading her temperament. He is a caring vet
who knows how to communicate with both, people and animals!

The staff at Animal Medical Center have been taking care of our dogs and cats since 2010. I am very pleased with the level of care we receive. The staff is professional kind and patient. During this time of Covid19 restrictions the staff made every accommodation to ensure our comfort level with our cat during her procedure. We have been a long time customer. Over the years we have received the same consistent kind care for our pets.

We had a great experience there. And safe you can only have one person with your pet. It was our first time there and they were very caring and answered our questions. Best part is it's close to home!

Friendly service. Called to refill my dog's heartworm medicine, and they had it ready for pickup on my way home from work.

This has been our vet for our yorkie for more than a year. We have been beyond satisfied with the caring service she has received. From getting her spayed to well visits we have been informed and comforted by the wonderful staff. Even with the current circumstances there has been continuous care. Thank you

Caring knowledgeable staff. They've taken good care of every pet I've had, I trust them completely.

This place has shown that it cannot be trusted. I would not recommend this place to anyone. We took our 2 cats to this place to get vaccinated and to check on their health. They recommended to take a blood sample from one of our cats to address a concern we had. They said they would get back to us in one week with the results and they never did. We had to call them twice to get the results and they could never give us an answer or get a vet to talk to us. Eventually when I called complaining about their lack of professionalism, they said someone would call us back at the end of the day. This place is completely unprofessional and they didn t care to follow up with us on the day they we had on schedule. It took them 2 weeks to get back to us with results of an exam that was done in 4 days!!!!!!
We also took our cats to get a second boost of a vaccine and once we got there they charged us more for something they had previously said it was already paid for. I know exactly what was said to us, but they said it isn t on the receipt and that we had to pay for it. I am very upset with how they dealt with everything. There are plenty of better options around the area.

Very compassionate and caring appointment! Dr. Jarrett has wonderful "bedside manner" and remembers details about my dog from our previous appointments. We're very pleased with the attention to detail!

The service was excellent. From the staff setting up the appointment for my pet, taking a detailed current history, examined by Dr. George and then received thorough information. Dr. George followed up with test results and what steps needed to be done. Awesome

I went to Animal Medical Center for the first time and I was so pleased and happy to find Dr. Scott here!! He has seen my dog since he was a puppy and after he moved locations, I did not know where he was. Luckily, we found him here! I am sure the other vets here are just as great. The staff was all friendly, the medical center was clean, and you can tell they really care about what they do. Do not hesitate to bring your pet here!

Our dog had stopped breathing one morning and we called the office right away (we had an appointment at 3pm). Barbara answered the phone and said we could take her to the emergency vet on Rakow or we could wait because at that time she was ok. We had decided we were gonna take her to Companion on Rakow and I called the vet back. Barbara asked if we could have her at the office in 15 minutes. We got her there asap. Dr. George had surgeries that morning and she made the decision to help our dog and not do her other surgeries because she wasn t doing well. My mom and I are sitting in the parking lot and waiting for the call and Dr. George calls and explains that she may have a collapsed trachea and she wants to do Xrays and see if there were any lumps and such in that area. While we were waiting in the car Dr. George called us and said she s gonna come home with some medications and that will help her. While she was talking to us Addison went into distress and they had to incubate her. She asked us to go home. We did. About an hour later we get a call and find out more of what s going on. She recommended that she has further testing done and she go to Buffalo Grove. My family and I agreed that would be best. We went to see her at the vet and say our byes in case she didn t survive on the trip there. Dr. George and her two techs transported her and she was breathing ok by the time they got to Buffalo Grove. If it wasn t for her and seeing her first thing that morning she may not have lived that day. Thanks to Dr. George and her team we got another two weeks with Addison. We as a family are grateful for everything they did and how wonderful they are.

Dr. George and staff are very professional and welcoming. Treat my dogs like they are their own. Thank you for the good care you provide.

There aren t enough words to describe how kind Dr. Scott is. He used to work at the clinic in Hoffman Estates. Once he left, the other doctors at that clinic weren t as understanding and compassionate as him. I found out he worked at Crystal Lake. I brought my 3 year old Rottweiler to get hip and elbow x rays to see if he had dysplasia due to him limping only after hard exercise. Dr Scott listened to all of our concerns and explained what he was going to do. He even offered to quote us on the x rays. Dr Scott explained to us that the x rays showed he had shoulder arthritis. He provided us treatment options but was not pushy at all. I ll definitely be switching to this clinic for both my dogs going forward. I trust dr Scott and the staff is very friendly as well.

I have gone to this vet for over 20 years and absolutely love all the doctors and nurses. I ve brought bunny s and all my dogs here and would never go anywhere else. Logan my dog loves them all too

Prompt, friendly and very clear about the neutering of our pup. They sincerely cared about our Shadow and strived to give him the best care.

We have been going here for over 6 years. We have a bulldog, & they tend to be stubborn. The staff & Dr. George are so perfect with her. We love when professionals speak to the "patient" first & then to us. They are caring, professional & don't try to do unnecessary procedures. I love the conservative approach before going to the next level of treatment. Addie actually gets excited when I tell her we are going to see her friend, Dr. George. I would recommend this medical center for your fur babies to anyone!

i love Dr. George, My shih tzu is 17 years old and she is the best vet he has EVER had! I only wish I would have found her sooner!
