A majority of the residents here should be in a mental health facility. There is constant verbal fighting throughout the day. Occasional full on violence. Theft is the Norm. Staff are angry, burnt out, and overwhelmed. The longer I'm here the less hope I have. I don't get anything done because I'm constantly trying to cope with the enviroment. I don't believe I have anywhere else to go to. I've been here 12 days and have never been approached by my case worker to make a plan to find housing. I've asked her for help three times. I have my own mental health issues and this place is making me sink.

They only help you if you're black or white. The participants are bullies and racists and staff does nothing to curb and change this. One of the participants organized a gang beating against me and another lady. This matter went to court and we won. The court system saw the truth and gave us justice.

The homeless system is where the most open and blatant displays of racism take place. Since the government gives these non-profit agencies free reign as to how to allocate and use the money they do whatever they want with impunity. It's an abyss best avoided if possible.
