This was one of the best meals I ve ever had. Our waiter was so kind, the building was stunning, and the food was phenomenal. You can t leave without grabbing dessert! I wish I could go back!

This place definitely lives up to the hype. Delicious pastries and stunning hot chocolate in an exquisite setting. I read a lot of reviews before my visit about queues for the tea room, we went around 3pm on a Saturday and were met with a small queue but were promptly seated within 10 minutes.
Great breakfast, chestnut cream worth trying, you can even buy from its small patisserie to take home, crowden in the late afternoon.
It is a Mont Blanc and hot chocolate restaurant. Please try it ~ It was life Mont Blanc ^^
The best cakes in the world, touched by the hand of God. When you take a cake from Angelina it is like you will ascend to heaven. The prices (which are not cheap) are in accordance with its delicacy.
Excellent tea room. You must drink a chocolate. The cake The African shock is fine and strong in chocolate. Delicious cakes. An impeccable service
the hot chocolat has a very interesting story behind it, but it is also SO GOOD, i mean, it is like drinking the most amazing drug... i dont know how else to describe it! very cute place too... have had lunch and tea here too.. it's just that hot chocolat - i can't get enough of it
The environment is first class, and the famous hot chocolate is sweet and thick for me, but go on a trip, who care?
Arguably the best hot chocolate and mont blanc in Paris.
Rec by Michele, get hot chocolate to go and walk around the park
Parisian service otherwise the place is nice, just like our dear Paris.
The best hot chocolate in Paris! You also can t go past their amazing selection of delicious desserts. Whilst a little on the pricey side, it s well worth it. You won t be disappointed!
Delicious hot chocolate and pastries in a chic baroque setting.
Fast service.
Be careful, the squares next to the entrance 'benefit' from an icy current of air. Ask the places of the bottom or the floor to not freeze the loaves!
Quite exorbitant prices.
The famous hot chocolate place! You gotta try it. Hated waiting in line for 50 minutes but it's worth it.
Some desserts are excellent and original. Top if chocolate. High prices. Avoid ice cream.
Lovely cafe in a prime location! The hot chocolate was great. I also tried their egg Florentine as well, which was a good plate if you're hungry and can't decide between a breakfast or lunch plate. Service was great and we didn't wait too long to be seated or receive our food.
Wow. Visited about 3 years ago and still remember the tastes. Best Macaroons I ever had. Other deserts were amazing as well.
along rue Rivoli one of the main streets of Paris you will understand to see a very long row of people outside a bar, this is Angelina one of the oldest bars in Paris where they offer hot frozen drinks and small pastry the place inside is worth the visit, large mirrors a classic furniture of other times typical of the rooms of the 900.
A fast service a great card with many proposals, very large sweets and beautiful sugary (at least what I took), you can also take and take away without a doubt the visit
Waiting of the order of 40 minutes to get a table l after noon.
this place is the victim of its success piur mont blanc cake and hot chocolate
old.
A must go if you enjoy French dessert. I had my favourite, Mille Feuille which was absolutely stunning. The decor here is super fancy and the service is very attentive too. Pretty pricy, but worth it! A great treat.
There were so many people... and the price was high!!
I always like to come here to drink hot chocolate specialty of the tea room. The desserts are excellent too. The setting is very nice too. The bill could be a little expensive for some but it's worth it!
This place is absolute heaven. My sister and I visited recently and fell in love with everything we had (about 5 pastries), including the hot chocolate. The "African" hot chocolate is AMAZING. It's a dessert on its own... Soooo rich and wonderful. Angelina'sis a MUST when in Paris.
We went here today around 10:20 am, in front of us was only 2 families. We waited in a line only for 5-10 minutes.
Hot chocolate and white chocolate are so rich and tasty. Butter croissants go well with them.
We tried also a desert with a chestnut cream and merengue, but we didn t like it that much.
The charm of refinement
Excellent pastries!
I have always loved this place, will always do. When you go Paris, make sure you pay a visit to this iconic cafe.
Amazingly decadent cocoa and whipped cream along with a fantastic a la Carte breakfast. Brunch is also an option for a flat price.
Hi Angelina!
Thanks so much for my birthday surprise!!
I have had a cake! It's delish
Merci!!
Auvoir!
Angelina xx
Delicious pastries and cakes, lovely surroundings and very friendly staff.
The ambiance is lovely and you really feel you are dining in France. Our breakfast was very nice. The bread, cruassant and pain au chocolat were delicious. The hot chocolate is rich and decadent. I had tried getting in to eat before but there was a que each time, this time; it was a Saturday morning in March and not any school holiday time so we could eat in definetly worth a visit.
Wonderful place, wonderful food, wonderful waiters from all over the world. A century of deserved success!
Desserts and hot chocolate! I also had a Club Sandwich, big portions, excellent taste.
Good hot chocolate, coffee. So-so breads.
We are multi time Angelina diners. Same indifferent management, good servers, but old stale tasting viennoisseries (croissants) and bread. Place is coasting on its long history.
I put 4 stars for the location because it is very beautiful and very vintage but the prices are absolutely unreasonable
It's always a pleasure to eat some Angelina desserts. The prices are high, but it's an unforgettable experience.
The chocolate chaud is an experience not to miss! If one feels like spurlging order the tea time for some tasty desserts and a mini sandwiches.
Too expensive and not all that! Brazilian tourist trap! It's not even worth the place
Delicious pastry ... but the rooms at the bottom are unworthy of a big house ... it's like being in a canteen. Painting to do again ... lighting neon wobbly table. It is shameful.
Service nevertheless neat and pleasant
Nice breakfast, delicious hot chocolate & pastries.
Went for a hot choco afternoon with my girlfriends and had a cozy moment. Chocolate is reaaally sweet, so get ready to ask for some extra milk or water. Beautiful place, kind service.
Nice place, nice service, good chocolate and mille feuilles, white chocolate not top pr me ... Too bad the floor is not open given the number of customers. To do again qd same :)
Posh experience in one of the best cafes in Paris! Aristocratic aura and a great variety of pastries to choose from. Their hot chocolate is to die for, the best I have ever tried! You will have to queue up and wait your turn, it's a must visit place though, we really had a great time!
A must visit place in Paris. The best (and richest) hot chocolate in the world in a wonderful French Salon de The. The pastries to accompany the drinks are fabulous also.
A lot of people. We go for hot chocolate and pastry mont blanc. The decor is nice
The hot chocolate was delicious and very much - one portion was almost too much for one person. The macaron was delicious as well. Very crowded though. Service was good, but not excellent. Price was very high (9 per chocolate).
An incredible experience, worth every moment inside this place.
Very nice place, delicious cakes and pleasant service. There is a line to get in, plan to go early. Their hot chocolate cost 8-10 euros and plan as much for a pastry.
The patisserie is amazing. The chocolate is thick thick thick. I left this place with jams of all sorts and some chocolate powder to make hot chocolate at home.
Fig jam is AMAZING.
Do not miss this legendary address the Mont Blanc African chocolate flying in the wind and so on .... and after you are treated you can take a digestive walk in the Tuileries garden
Excellent coffee! Very cozy. Average service with a waiter who wanted to get rid of us before we were done. Excellent pastry
The fresh cream inside is light and easy to balance with marron cream! Is the meringue that I did the best a bit too sweet for the Japanese? ?
But you may be sharp! !
I recommend. Yours faithfully, Angelina Paris. Thank you for everything and I wish you the best during this difficult time.
Over priced, but definitely worth it. Taste, texture and service is gold. During summer, I recommand having it take away (it's cheaper!) and eat at Tuileries Garden.
Angelina is one of the first teahouses I attended when I arrived in Paris. I go back again for Mont-Blanc and African hot chocolate with its whipped cream (House specialties).
Mention -:
1) an endless waiting thread. Allow ONE hour minimum. (Weekend)
2) Some waitresses are too familiar with customers - this type of behavior is not acceptable for a teahouse of this renown.
Mention ++: The magnificent setting
OMG the chocolate here is fabulous. Wonderful Hot Chocolate. A must do in Paris. But be ready for the line to get in
Though I am not much a dessert person, but the African Hot Chocolate is superb (don't try the ice version, too diluted). I hornet found Framboise is better, fruity and not too sweet.
The cake and beverages was great as expected. The coffee was not the best. The bottom floor only have a toilet for men and one for women. That is not good enough for a place this big. The staff was really nice and friendly.
Good dessert, a bit expensive. But a magnificent context. To do at least once.
Delicious tea room. Usually there's a wait, but you can get pastries to go straightaway. Their specialty Italian-style hot chocolate is amazing and their signature pastry is the Mont Blanc made with chestnut cream. Their teas and infusions (herbal teas) are delicious also. Very nice old-world feel to the place, like Paris from 100 years ago.
delicious pastries (Shock African, strawberry, leaves miles) and hot chocolate to fall. The negative is the wait, there is often a queue but the service is very fast so we do not patient too long.
expensive but the chocolat chaud is worth. take it to go
I've been quite anticipated to visit this restaurant as my wife has been telling me about how its famous for the Mont Blanc dessert.
As we walking into the restaurant we had to wait in line as it was quite busy for late in the afternoon. While waiting I noticed the beautiful plaster of Paris cornices and the beautifully painted paintings on the walls. The restaurant was warm and inviting and poshy to say the least.
The staff were very friendly and helpful esp when choosing what to have. I had the Mont Blanc of course and my wife the Millefeuille with some selection of teas.
Mind is blown at how simple the deserts seemed and yet the balance was perfect. Absolutely enjoyed every bite and I'm not a sweets person at all. Highly recommend give this master patisserie a try with some tea or coffee!!
Aaaaaaaaaah! Angelina's hot chocolate, just to evoke it, makes it poetic.
The hot chocolate on a rainy day in Paris is lit. Also fun to people watch all the IG influencers
Very chic place! The establishment is renowned and sported the prerogative of the chic establishments of the capital. However if you do not fit the mold of regular customers you are looked down from the bottom by the staff. So the warm and cobforravle5 aspect is to be reviewed2 especially for the price paid to drink a coke and eat a pastry which nevertheless remains excellent.
Enjoy a chocolat chaud a l ancienne with some pastries...is a breathtaking after a visit in Louvre ;)
Waiters are in a hurry to give u the cheque! Need to have more customers rapidly!
Being just good and just enough is hard, especially when it comes to desserts: an art field, extremely difficult to satisfy all varieties of tastes.
Before this visit, I always hesitated to recommend pastry shops as my favorite might be a dislike. However Angelina s pastries create unbelievable aptness for every criterion. Like a perfect orchestra of masterpiece score, cream, butter, and everything performs pastry of heaven in your mouth.
Though some reviews did not like staffs, they were very friendly. Amazing. A must visit place.
After a walk by the Seine, Angelina's is must visit for kirs royales and patisseries!
