GO ELSEWHERE!! Find a place that grants the wishes of the loved one that is dying. They wont let parents see their young kids due to Administrative policy. Their reasoning makes no sense. They are worried about Covid. The Patients are there to die in peace and dignity, not heal and walk out. They obviously do not think of the patients wishes. MAKES ME SICK!! Give them what they want!! Put yourself in the Patients place not your shoes!!. GO ELSEWHERE!!
I highly recommend Angela Hospice.
We decided to enroll our mom in home hospice care due to covid restrictions and her wish to die at home. We chose Angela Hospice (AH) to help us manage her care. AH personnel came to her house to assess her needs, provided the supplies we needed and ordered the necessary equipment. The AH 24/7 call center staff answered our questions promptly even though it was frequently very early in the morning. The AH personnel worked well with the home care provider that we hired. The nurses answered our questions during their weekly visit. We received calls from social workers and religious staff. In the final hours of our mom s life, the AH 24/7 call center staff helped us immensely. We spoke about every 30 minutes until her death. After our mom s death, the AH personnel informed us of the process and made all the necessary phone calls.
Everyone involved with our mom s care from the enrollment staff, the gentlemen delivering and picking up equipment, the social worker, the bathing personnel and the nurses were kind to our mom and us. This wasn t our first experience with AH. Our aunt was a patient in the AH Care Center a few years ago. The staff treated her very well.
To the staff at AH: Thank you for all your help and knowledge during the hospice journey. It was very appreciated.
We had such wonderful care and concern from Jane and others. The nurses and aids were excellent. Jane comforted us so much and expressed what a good job I was doing taking care of my mother in law even though I thought I wasn't doing enough. I have nothing but good to say about Angela Hospice!!! They are wonderful people and very caring!
The very best care I could ever imagine.. my God bless every single staff member.. our family will be forever grateful
The worst experience! They are unavailable after you sign on for their services.
I disagree with Angela hospice for one main reason, they will not honor the family's or doctor's wishes, my mother has dementia and cancer and her doctor stated that it would be inhumane to tell her that she has cancer with her short time left and the family agreed, Angela hospice said they will not refrain from telling her. So if anybody is in the same situation please get all the information ahead of time, because mentally torturing a loved one by telling them is inhumane under certain circumstances such as my mother's
I give them 5 stars as they were awesome and we didn't have to put our Mother, Nanny, great Nanny in a home. Dorothy live at our house for 4 months after she sold hers and they Angela Hospice was so nice and always loving. My heart goes out to nurse Jane. She kept saying we are doing a wonderful job taking care of her till the end. RIP Mom!
My mother was a patient here for 9 days. By the time she arrived she was already pretty far gone with her congestive heart failure. The staff treated her like royalty. They made her transition so much more pleasant and dignified. And they also treated us with respect and compassion. I highly recommend this place if your love one needs palliative care.
My elderly mother was unexpectedly diagnosed with terminal cancer. We chose to keep her home and do in home Hospice since she refused treatments and we didn t want her to be alone. She was ok for the first month. Angela came once a week just to ck on her and give support. Then she got worse and was bed bound. They got a bed, oxygen and meds the next day. The support and care we got was outstanding. Any time I called anytime they were so helpful either on the phone with support or they sent a nurse right out. I m so grateful for everything. I can not thank you enough!
