Camping on board more like cargo on board. Oh dear! We love the route Venice to Patras for our annual holidays but we travelled on a different line. What a mess, the ship is small and you can end up on the open deck, it really is not great. The return trip was on a ferry from 1979 what a mess, old dirty and unacceptable.

I am sorry Anek but never again.

We went with the Asterion of Venice to Igomenitsa. The embarkation was terrible. In part, the people are not normal from their cars come. No end kaos. The cars were so tight that you got panic. For many drivers very difficult Ferry otherwise nothing special. We will not do this terrible stress and this not very pleasant ferry again. Since we have often gone to Norway with a car ferry we have a comparison.

Absolutely the best.communication was great.Calling the center to ad more on returning tickets to Greece was great 5 star servies. The ferry was in mind condition food was all home made it felt like mama's cooking . all staff very professional. made the trip wandetfull

Has developed positively years ago he was much rude and dirty. Keep it up then maybe there will be one more star soon.

Unacceptable company for the Patras Ancona line. 2 hours earlier in the port of Patras and nevertheless we were the last to enter and almost lost the ship. Completely disorganized, rude and unprofessional behavior. The ship in bad shape, dirty not at all "fully compliant with safety instructions" as they said from the loudspeakers constantly. Especially in the covid period19. I did not meet any of the staff who did not shout in a simple dialogue. Finally the ship was an hour late in the port of Ancona even though it had docked. Avoid traveling with that company

A good shipping company to come to Patras. The Asterion II is a clean and quiet ship. 5 stars compared to other lines, after more than 5 passages.

After almost 20 years I changed from Minoan to Anek. It seems to me, as if I upgraded from * to ****. After the chaos of recent years with Minoan just fine, clean, large cabin with bathtub, very friendly and helpful staff, even at bar on the upper deck are regularly emptied the ashtrays and wiped the tables. Just great!!!

Asterias is miserable for such a long journey (Venice - Patras). Although with cabin endless hours, inconvenience on a slow and oriented to transport Dalic ships.

462 Euros per Person, to Igoumenitsa and back to Fusina, in a Cabine 4x2.5m, no window, meals and coffees extra!!! Departures from Fusina/Venice and departures from Patras/Igomenitsa up to 4 hours Late!

Practical car ferry from Venice to Patras, boat and cabins clean, food in the self service restaurant okay, minus point are long delays, patience is required

The boat was in moderate condition but the port of Venice is a perfect disaster. It has nothing more than 10 chairs and a table and coffee from automatic and to eat something again from automatic.

The cabins can be seen that newly renovated with toilets and towels. Unfortunately, the kitchen did not suit our taste. Service very nice. The deck leaves much to be desired. Dirty and dingy. Plenty of people sleep in sleeping bags both on the deck and in the room for performances as I think - there is a piano there.

Anek Asterion 2 / PLF mid-July 2020 from Venice to Greece: due to Corona, the ferry line wishes to appear 4 hours before departure. After 45 minutes we were worried with all the tickets. Since you don't get the necessary PLF document until the day of your arrival, print out the confirmation email for the document and present it to the ferry at the CheckIn, then it will work smoothly. With us the names on the tickets were compared with those on the PLF and well. Since you should only show up about 1 hour before departure, we were able to get into Venice shortly. The Asterion 2 ferry is like a normal car ferry, luxury cannot be expected. But, very positive note: 4 bed cabin very neat and very clean. The public toilets are also very clean! Prices & food quality is average and ok. It is always better, but also much worse. The duration of the crossing is quite exact as stated. The only thing that bothered me was the negligent wearing of the mouthguard at the queue at the self-service restaurant buffet, but I can do it at my own distance, the crew consistently wears mouthguard.
Because of Corona, the ferry was underutilized, significantly more truck drivers than tourists.
Certainly no comparison to the earlier main times.
Arrived at the ferry port, shown PLF, waved through and done with it. However, I am not sure whether there was already an exchange between the ferry and Greece during the crossing, as different names were announced on the day of arrival. But I can not judge.

The Anek Lines Asterion is a true soul seller. The cars are loaded onto the ship full of greed and it doesn't matter what happens to the people there. Those who didn't have a cabin had to make do with gears extremely. Unfriendly staff that disgusted one after consumption and not exactly cheap consumption although enough tables were free for other guests. I just say "never again". The ship is not to be confused with the Minoan Lines.

The new quay replaces the previous quay in Venice and is a functional building with overloaded toilets. The switches were built but were probably not yet in use when I left, so you had to queue up in a small adjoining room. At least the air conditioning was fine. At best, the seats are uncomfortable.
