girls are not allowed to play football unless they wont to be a kicker. i enjoy playing football and im not allowed to b\c they said i can only be a kicker which is wrong we should be treated like the guys as well and i dont wont to play poderpuff football i like hands on tackle with the guys. get back to me if you feel the same way

The middle school nurse is not good with the children. She intimidates the children and comes across as cold and uncaring.

The eighth grade students that ride a bus home, are having to hang around the school for forty-five minutes (+/-) once school is over! The buses have to bring the younger students home first and then return to the school. Students that reside ten minutes from the school don t get home until four o clock. Unreal!

they make to much work for students i dont even have time to do the things i like all i can do is school work even when im home

The only thing about it is transportation is a joke, buses dont even go through subdivisions we have to walk in the rain heat and when it gets cold even with small kids

My daughter loves palmetto elementary school! All the staff and teachers principles and the nurse are awesome! Well love it there no doubt :):)

I have genuine concern for the rest of the state if Anderson county district 1 is the best in the state. iPads and chrome books do NOT make a good school system.

We have just recently moved up here from a small town in Georgia and I have had people tell me that the system here is so much better. In Georgia there are more options at the middle school level to get high school credits (taught at the middle school), kids can start the career academy their freshman year, the teachers understand that a child can be smart AND have learning disabilities.

I'm not just disappointed I'm disgusted.

I am only giving one start because of Mrs. Cahill at the high school and Mrs. Padgett at the middle school.

Transportation is terrible. They always have an excuse why they didn't pick up my son.

This is our second year in Anderson District One. We are in the Powdersville Schools and couldn't be happier. To this point, administration has been wonderful from top to bottom. Our children are being academically challenged. We feel they are secure in a great environment. Plenty of productive activities to keep them busy while developing into better people. Thank you ADO!
