The staff was great, the ambiance was incredible, the views were spectacular, and the services were second to none!

Very nice resort. But you to get the reservation done before hand. No one is allowed to enter with out prior reservations. The rooms are extremely nice and the view is very beautiful. Its basically famoua for meditation and spa. The resort is 1 of a kind in the country. Its a huge place. It was a former papace of kingwhuch is xonverted to a resort. The staff is very nice and respect the guests. Rhey give welxome drinks and battery operated car is der to roam around the place. Beautiful gardens with beautiful flowers.

Maharaja Mahal situated in Narender Nagar 16 km frok Rishikesh..five star property on hills .. security arrangements are very tight but very expensive experience

Ananda in tha himalaya is so beautiful resort , with nice location and part of narendar nagar king palace, there is royal sweet room which is part of that palace, you can have chance to be royal, resort have big area with lone flawers 6 hole golf course and very nice spa, so everything is there what you waiting for.

They claim to be an award winning destination, but I found that their customer service is extremely poor. They do not value their customers at all.

I drove all the way to Ananda at 8 in morning to experience their spa services, but they did not cater to me, and neither they did bother to ask me for a glass of water when i came so far to their property.

On my insistence, their staff was highly non cooperative and did nothing for me. I called them 6-7 times before visiting them, but none of the property staff answered the calls and also its nowhere mentioned on their website regarding the in house guest policy.

Highly disappointing, especially for the person who was so excited about the experience after seeing them featured in so many articles, it was all worthless for me.

One of best wellness places to visit. The whole experience is very pleasent. Accommodation, food, treatments are just awesome. Expensive, but worth every penny. Minimum 5 days is recommended. 10 days is ideal. Garden facing rooms are as good as the valley facing ones, even though the valley facing rooms are more expensive. The staff is excellent and very polite and accomodating. Doctor's consultation was also very enlightening. Excellent feedback. Overall a very good devoid ours to visit. Will surely visit again before the end of the year.

Very peaceful here.. lived to attend the Vedanta lecture sessions here.. Place is lush with greenery and a whole lot of bird species.. the staff is very courteous .. healthy food .. yoga sessions in the morning.. walking trek.. a welcome change from the city's stressful life

This is a historic place. A palace in Narender Nagar, Tehri. The great King and The Great queen are still there. The the old customs, traditions and rituals are still followed.

Beautiful place. On Saturday the Ramana's Garden kids always go there and dance Indian's classic. Amazing!

Best place is narendra nagar. Ananda basically is raja ka mahal.. but now this is hotel. And the best hotel i see in this budget.
