Well I was done with Amscot about 5 years ago with their debit card thing got smart got a bank account. But what really sucks is I haven't seen my child support for the last 9 months with a few of their money orders off the top of my head five or six. Child support told me that they have not received my money so I called Amscot gave them my money order receipt numbers they tell me that they have not been cashed but give us $12.50 on every one of them and we'll stop payments on all of them it rounds up to about a hundred and some dollars to stop the payments I told them that's basically half of what I've paid so give you half of what I've already paid to get half-back so I pretty much gave you all of it what a rip off I'll never set foot in an Amscot ever again and I would strongly suggest that nobody give those people a dime for paying your bills money orders check cashing go to your grocery store they'll cash your check Publix does it all the time or get smart go get a bank account cut those crooked Bank out called Amscot!
And where's the zero rating don't even deserve one.

MY OPINION ABOUT AMSCOT IS BAD AND I HAVE BEEN A VICTIM OF A SCAM ON A MONEY ORDER K VERY MYSTERIOUSLY DISAPPEARED FROM THE MAILBOX WHERE I LIVE AT 7555 SW 152 ND AV. APTO.E 504 MIAMI FL. 33193 WHERE WITHOUT FORCING SUCH BUZON THEY STOLEN EVERYTHING. THAT'S WHY K I WILL DO EVERYTHING K IS AT MY REACH TO K TELEMUNDO ANSWER HELP ME EXCLUDE THIS CASE. MY NAME IS LEONARDO LCANTARA. THE CASE IS K INEXPLICABLY ALL MONEY ORDER K WERE DIRECTED TO THE CONDOMINIUM WERE CHANGED SO EASY TO KNOW K IN THE AMSCOT OFFICES ARE ENOUGH DEMAND WHEN IT AGREES.

Amscot's Inverness Florida Location fraudulently stole $75.00 off the Western Union Wire System that I sent to my daughter. My daughter was suddenly left homeless and had no place to go and no food or money. I wired her through Western Union enough money to cover a hotel room and food until the next day. The Manager Matt at this location had her sign to receive the money transfer and then instead of giving her the money took the $75.00 and said she owed Amscot from 4 years ago from an Amscot loan. He then gave her a receipt for the money he took. I contacted Western Union and they are investigating , they however said " it was not legal ". My daughter is disabled by law and was left homeless with no way to buy even a drink. It is illegal to have someone sign a form stating they received money and then take it for their own use. It is considered fraud and punishable by law. It is theft to take someones money without them consenting. This was my hard earned money that I trusted to Western Union and they " Amscot" / Employee Matt Stole it. I am seeking attorneys fees , prosecution of the employee and a lawsuit for direct emotional distress to my disabled daughter who was left on the streets hungry for 24 hours until family could get to her. This is not the way to treat customers and they had no right regardless of what transpired 4 years prior. The Americans with Disabilities Act and her rights as well as mine were violated and Western Union should remove their right to represent them in wire transfer. When I called Amscot I was told it is their policy to do this and they would stand by their employee. I am seeking Media attention and coverage from local news channels and social media forums to prevent this from happening to anyone else. BEWARE.

From MY opinion, this place sucks as a job. They couldn't tell what I was doing so they let me go. They assumed it was my phone but it was my glasses. These folks are fools, allegedly. The trainer mostly talked about her personal life as if I cared. You're welcome to apply. Maybe you'll have a better experience. Weird cuz I was going to quit for a better job anyways.

My money order was stolen from the drop box, it was written out to my landlord, he's put double locks on the drop box, and the others Who did not used Amscot ,received thier stolen money orders (replacement ) very quickly, I am still waiting! This happened in July 2016, i will not use Amscot anymore, they are so slow.

If I could give zero stars I would. You wasted my time because you can't deny over the phone. I was denied because I get a paystub but get paid cash. I was upfront and explained this before coming in to stand in line and then wait forever to be told you can't help because my paystub isn't enough proof of income. Maybe try being honest with people instead of making us wait just so you can tell me you cant help because I do not deposit all of my cash check and that a paystub is not enough for you as proof of income. What a joke... I make more than enough money to get a small payday loan that I could have paid back quicker then my next paycheck.

Went to Haines city amscot for notary. They skipped over me twice to help Spanish speaking people. Then Stephanie told me to calm down in Spanish not knowing I spoke Spanish and continued to talk about me. Refused to notarize my form for date requested by lender. I waited in line while they continued to help others. Horrible customer service they lost my business. Appeared to be racism to me

Deposited my pay check only reason I went to them was cause i lost my card and I need the money fast So I cashed my check at Amscot being a first time customer I trusted them. 4 days later I get a call that the check was bounced how If I only went to them I feel like they want to take my money so I blocked them I will never be going back to them first and last time.
