We ordered a birthday cake for my child. We wanted it to be in pink buttercream. The color was stuck on our hands for days. The cake was dry and we were very disappointed with it. We felt as if it was overpriced for the quality of the cake.
We didn t even look at another bakery for our wedding cake because we love Amphora, and that was the right call! We got a small cake to cut and a large sheet cake with the vanilla cake with vanilla frosting and forest berry preserves, topped with blue sugar hydrangea petals. It was a hit! We loved it and got so many compliments from our guests! We highly recommend.
I was going to Whole Foods and I searched cakes near me and Thanks to Google that I found Amphora Bakery. It was my first experience and surely will not be the last. Cake was super good and everyone enjoyed. Though there is a need in improving customer service. Someone should pay attention when there are 3 people in the bakery.
More importantly we loved your cake.
The chocolate-filled croissant was AMAZING. Light, fluffy but packed with so much yummy flavor. Reminded me of the ones I had growing up in Spain.
Have yet to try to coffee -- will do so next time.
The indoor seating area is very nice and has ample space. Customers can even peek at the giant bakery "factory" in the back -- very cool.
Plenty of free parking. Can't beat it.

Best red velvet cake I ever had. 3 layers of cake with buttercream icing on the outside and cream cheese frosting between the layers. Also got some writing and a drawing on the cake. The writing was $2.50 and the drawing of the cat was $12! $12!!!!!! Drawing is way overpriced!
True artistry, both in aesthetics, and taste. Ordered a six pies, and 75 cookies for a work event. All awesome. One pie, their pie of the month, a cranberry cream something or other was one of the most amazing things I ve ever tasted. Highly recommend.
Cute place! I saw a party upstairs making gingerbread houses, so it seems like this place allows large parties. The store had such beautiful cakes on display, and the whole place smelt so good it made my mouth water. The ham and cheese croissant used real cheddar cheese and was super buttery and flaky. I also tried the shortbread sugar cookie and the large apricot jam cookie. While both tasted good, and the apricot jam cookie had a nice interior, it seemed like both were baked a little too long (dry or slightly burnt on the outside).
Ordered a cake online for my wife and paid via paypal (Im currently overseas). Communication was fine, but could definitely improve - were not clear about pick up times or completion of the cake. Base price is ok, but the effort put into drawing was lacking. Either lacking or should be cheaper than $12, writing on the other hand was good for $2.5
The Amphora did an amazing job with our cake. Elicia was incredible helpful throughout the process. The cake tasting was fun and easy. When it was time to come up with a design the Amphora wanted to make sure they got the design perfectly and double checked with us. When COVID hit they were incredibly accommodating and made the transition to our new date seamlessly. The few weeks leading up to wedding Elicia was on top of everything to make sure everything was correct. When we saw our cake it was everything we wanted. Everyone raved about the design!! And it tasted GREAT!! We are so happy with everything. Thank you Amphora!!!
It s really nice that this place has some seating to enjoy their deserts. Tried German chocolate cake, cookie with raspberry and a piece of baklava.
There is pricing on anything except the drinks. All of the deserts and pastries are way too sweet. Taste is ok, just ok.
