The obvious aspect of growth is independence; I m certainly much more self-reliant after graduating from Amman Academy. The AA life certainly isn t easy, but it wasn t designed to be. Now, after AA, and for much longer I think I ll always gravitate towards a life full of the values AA proposes: hard work, self-discipline, creativity, vigorous play, community, and service. It is truly a wonderful school full of a community that will always push you to be the best version of yourself.

This school relies heavily on very focused advertising and pays next to no mind to the health and wellbeing of its students. Their teachers are gradually becoming of lesser quality, they cannot even teach by a syllabus resulting in students having to attend schools on weekends to try and catch-up with the material teachers are supposed to have finished during term times.
The management is very bad, the rules are borederline illogical and the management body is so unfriendly that they make you feel as if they're doing you a favor rather than the other way around.

If you're thinking about moving your children here don't. Just don't.

This school is organized and well looking. But they put too much stress and the teachers are not really good in lettting the child understand the subject. They are too strict while grading tests.

I worked in AA kindergarten for four years! It was the best time of my life. Friendly staff, professional management, healthy working environment and all parents and students loved the school and the teachers! Highly recommended for both employment and education

Basically this school is great and all, but not thanks to the school as much as to the students, as the only reason we maintain such a high reputation is because ya students work hard on ourselves, and we build relationships with our teachers in order to ensure we get there best grades. However, it would be unfair not to say that our school does help us and that it does not allow us to grow. Yet, it can improve and focus more on students lives.

Being a student here almost my whole life, I always had a great experience in both learning & enjoying the school's environment. Teachers were always very supportive and school management is also great, always trying to bridge between the students' academic growth and life values that are to be applied on a day to day basis. We also had many after school fun activities that catered to different interests and made all the hard work worth it in the end!

This school is the worst school ever. I am in it. The Students are bad, they dont stop bullying other students, P.S the students in Amman Academy show off themselves. The worst thing ever is that, they give us ( the students ) homeworks during exam days. They dont let us wear the jackets or shoes that we want, and they don't let us stay in our classes during break times.

I gotta say Amman Academy Principals, this school is the worst school ever i have studied in it!

Quite simply, a great school full of high quality professionals who care for students and staff .
Teachers work really hard to ensure that all students have achieved their potentials. The environment is very friendly and classrooms are well equipped with high tech focused .
Certainly , it was AA that built my solid academic foundation .
I am proud to be an AA graduate !!

Well, it's a long story. School is good, very clean and luxurious. Staff are cooperative in general. Teaching quality could be ranked as very good. On the other side, fees are exaggerated. School focus on money generation more than should be in a case of educational institution. When there is a problem or an issue where a teacher is involved, you can clearly see that they are on the side of the teacher, although they try not to make it clear, but you can feel it and see it. There policy of allowing their teachers to provide paid extra lessons to their students is questionable, and sure represents a clear case of conflict of interests. Turnover rate among teachers considered high, and surely has a negative impact on students.

The school is very unprofessional. Their rules make ZERO sense. Students are very restricted (from all aspects). Money first, students last. It's all about marketing and appearances. No one gives a damn about the students' psyche. Helping build their character as individuals is not a priority. Grades are all that matter.

Let's start at the end, I had a meeting with Fatten Katash, the role model & the face of AA & school principal, who amidst the meeting asked me not to address her as Faten but use a formal title to address her although I meant no disrespect by addressing her by first name. On the contrary.
She cut the meeting short while I was speaking, she stood up and said "meeting is done" and left leaving me sitting alone, and I'm lectured on manners. Also, Faten demanded I (the parent) apologize to the teacher who continuously fell short when it came to my child. I pay 4K per child (2 children at school) to be asked & to be lectured on manners from a lady who find it acceptable to leave the meeting while I am still speaking.
After repetitive complaint about the teacher, when my child got a cut across his nose and eye which left a mark, they still felt the need to be defensive rather than apologetic and compassionate. If you are looking for a school that treats their children like another $ figure, with no consideration for child's psyche or healthy mental growth this is the school for you.
It produces generic children all about the grades with no respect to their personality, individuality and uniqueness.
My child -KG2- was interrogated by principle and teacher without my consent, where also my methods and upbringing techniques were questioned and corrected by the school in front of my child which left him confused.
Getting him a sandwich was against policy..but 'within policy', 'not within their jurisdiction' this year but last year it was, so at the end my child was left without a meal for the day. Make up your mind AA or send an updated yearly booklet regarding your vast school policies which alternate yearly which also include "not confronting your child's teacher with your concerns" because that will affect the teachers mental state which was more important the child's. This was evident throughout their handling the situation.

Didn't like it at all

Didn't like it at all
My daughter had her KG 1 there, they are not kind, don't understand kids, pretending in front of parents
No real efforts from the teachers

I spent 13 years in this school, unfortunately the school is way too strict. I give a low rating because of the following points:
1- It is an uncomfortable environment
2- They don't have a balance between discipline and friendliness
3- Even though there were many incredible teachers, there were a few who treated students unfairly for example some teachers have no problem embarrassing students in front of their colleagues by calling out their (low marks) out loud instead of addressing the issue in a private constructive way
4- The school used to be more pleasant many years ago. However, you sense negative vibes in the recent years
5- The quality of teaching does not match the high tuition fees.
6- Most importantly, this is a school you leave without a shred of desire to come visit in the future.

I highly recommend looking elsewhere.

Being a cross-cultural individual who has witnessed the daily life of Amman Academy's staff and students, I always admired the attention given to student's interests, talents, and potential to bring up a generation who will make a change.

The school opens horizons and channels for students to be able to excel and flourish with a backup system to help them implement and take part in local and international issues.

Bravo AA

honestly the worst school ever, the students are just grades to them, all they care about is their own rates, a student could be depressed, anxious stressed, suicidal, and the wouldn't care and just blame it on technology or social media, and above all that they would add more work, they put on a show in front of parents and make a fool of themselves while trying to pretend like the school is good. I'm so glad i left, they would add last minute work 5 hours prior to the deadline, they made students work for hours on a so called "summative" just to say that it was a practice for the actual exam. overall a horrible school that should be shut down. if any AA teacher is reading this, I would kindly suggest to consider firing an unnamed math teacher that's name begins with H and last name with J, i rest my case :)

I'm in this school and overall, not a good experience whatsoever. First off, they put way too much pressure on students, they don't give us a chance to breath and I honestly wanna leave. I make a homework list every week and it's always 4-5 pages long, each page filled with homework assignments and it honestly kills me. Secondly, I swear the second you see that midterm study sheet on the portal, you ditch your entire life and sleep schedule, become depressed, and study 24/7. You got a life? Too bad, this school is here to take that away and throw it in the nearest dumpster. Third off, they rush everything, and they don't follow for example the math textbook in order, once we're at chapter 4, and suddenly we're at chapter 21. About the rushing thing, they finish chapters way too quickly and don't give us time to understand. They talk about how "they care for their students" but thats the most abysmal lie I have ever heard in my 14 years of living on this atrocious planet us humans call Earth. Also, the school is way too expensive (yes I know the IAA exists and you literally pay 13k JDs for hot garbage but that's beside the point.)

good school but do not help students know how to get better in next exam, they try and put on a show that makes the school look good but aren't that well looking.
the cafeteria is not good, no sweets except on wednesday, no vegan food for people who are fasting, and same food everyday. And students from grades 1-8 aren't allowed to go to cafeteria so only a selective amount of food is allowed.

I am currently studying at Amman academy and I hate it so much, I hat everything from the staff, management, teachers, students and the principal. They all want to show off and most of the teachers are young and untrained. I don t recommend it at allllllll, if wanna be stressed at all times come to Amman acdemy. Therefore this is my last year in this school.

no empathy or caring is shown towards the student and no regards are taken surrounding mental health . In this school, the student is just a grade that is pressured into an unhealthy stressful environment for the sake of getting a grade that is then advertised by the school for the sake of ratings. This is the school's self fulfilling prophecy which takes place at the expense of the students mental and physical wellbeing as it goes against the fundamental biological nature of being a child and a teenager. Sure education is important, but not when it creates distressed 40 year olds trapped in bodies of teenagers!
