I was double charged last year by the company and they claimed they had no contract with my insurance and that my insurance didn't cover it, when I had proof of both. They also have immature staff.
I know that you rarely get to choose an ambulance provider, but these people are great. I loathe five star reviews (I think they're fake), but we have NEVER had anything other than a perfect experience. The people are exceptionally well-trained and attentive, and the care is superb. Our only complaint is that they REALLY need shock absorbers that, you know, WORK. But when you're using a vehicle that is a medical version of a Brinks truck, I guess it's what you get. It's the people that make the difference here. And they are... spectacular.

They told the hospital they would be arriving to pick up my loved one and 3 hours later they were still a no show telling the nurses 10 more minutes every time they called to get a time of arrival. It is now almost midnight and they are going to transport a critical patient?!! I would NOT RECOMMEND THEM for any type of transportation. Horrible experience
Im seeing the pictures and this company looks good. Lol, its true. Maybe they need to call every customer to ensure the service is good but the pictures looks good I hope they read the reviews from other people.
Terrible service!! My dad, a heart pt, had a 2 and a half hour ride. The kid that was in the back ( the employee ) that was should have been keeping an eye on him, slept a good 2 hours of the trip. This was an out of pocket expense and paid up front for medical transportation, not a taxi, not an uber, this was an ambulance service. The drive played a terrible choice of music. Rap music with just about every other word being profanity. He could of very well went into cardiac arrest. What would have they done with the music
loud and the EMT asleep? I am a so very up set over this.

The drivers look like felons. They sit around in the ambulances like creepers at parks and rec areas watching women run by. On top of which they leave their engine running --blowing exhaust fumes and the obnoxious diesel sound all over the parks. What inconsiderate people. Use another company.
While I have never used this service, I will say my encounter with one of their drivers in Tampa on I-275 during rush hour on 3/21/18 left me wanting her to be fired. Stop and go traffic, and I prefer to coast instead of constantly being on my brakes. She honks her horn at me, and I continue to coast keeping about 4-5 car lengths between my car and the car ahead while still keeping up with traffic since that's the nature of stop and go traffic. She chose to find a gap to pass me then cut me off hard, not once, but twice. Then came to a dead stop in the left lane while I was laying on the horn after she cut me off the second time I guess to "teach me a lesson" or whatever payback she thought she was serving up. A person who works for a service that is to transport those who are unable to do so for themselves, road rage like this should be punishable by relief of your duties from AmeriCare. I wouldn't trust them to transport my loved ones after this experience of immaturity, and road rage .
They hire brand new EMT s and first responders without teaching them much of anything. The standard of care is incredibly low, and they do no continual training whatsoever. They care more about filling vacancies then quality medical care. These people are poorly trained and under equipped to do the job they are expected to do.
They showed up after 50 mins, I was in so much pain. The driver was so sweet but the one that was in the back with me made me so upset. All she talked about was please call hospital cause I was too heavy to lift out ambulance totally unacceptable! She said cause she doesn't want to get injured and she kept saying that. So I said excuse me I am right here and it's away to speak in front of people. She said sorry but I'm just looking out for myself. My experience with this company was terrible and I felt discriminated against. Raised my blood pressure and all, this will not be the end of my experience,i don't want anyone else to go through what I went through Period!The number of ambulance was 11 so beware folks.
Paramedics and emt personnel were excellent on my trip to TGH and back to KINDRED central tampa. Heather and Nickalaus. Also Christopher and Dawn. The rig on way back had non working air otherwise 5 stars would have been given.
My Mom, who has dementia, had a fall in the middle of the night and needed to be transported to the hospital for a head injury. The two Americans EMT s treated her with such kindness and respect. Their demeanor and knowledge base were exceptional. I was extremely pleased with our overall service.
I wouldn't even post a full star on the place. They were suppose to pick me up from the hospital and take me to the rehabilitated center. They took 3 hrs just to come to the hospital then they didn't tell me that they were going back to get another gernier "big enough " for me. It's 2:01am the next day and they still haven't shown up. Worst place ever
Care more about your employees, and give incentives to harder. Rather than impliment mandatory overtime with no breaks. Maybe people will stop quitting.
