This location is so great! Always very friendly staff to help answer you, always clean, and the best selection of screws and bolts vs. Lowe's and Home Depot, trust me, don't even waste your time at either of those if your looking for a hard to find bolt.

Like all Ace's, not the place for prices as low as the big boys, but has huge variety of stuff not at the big boys, and, for me, most important is the fantastic selection of nuts/bolts/screws/and a BIG etc.
There are 3 or four rows, stacked on each side with more hardware and fittings then you even know what they are for. Need a "key" for an outboard propeller shaft? Need chrome nuts for a Harley? Some weird spring? There simply is no other place around, especially since Orchard's demise locally, that has even 1/4 what this Ace has in bits and pieces. Actually, Emigh Ace in Sacramento has even more odds and ends bits and pieces of hardware.
Can you imagine how much shelf space this stuff takes up and how much money it brings in? Yeah, lots of shelf, and I'll take 25 cents of these fender washers I had an employee spend 5 minutes helping me find the right one....
Ended up returning an unused bag of concrete with my Ace rewards card, no receipt needed.
Busy store. Staff is friendly and when you ask for help, if they know your subject you are golden. Sometimes they don't know. Getting help also takes time. They didn't offer help. I had to ask. Bottom line. They will have what you need. It will cost more and it will take a while to get out of the store.

Love the hypnotic rows of graded stainless nuts, bolts, and in this case, O-rings someone needed for something somewhere sometime. We just needed knobs.

I am a general contractor and shop at all hardware/lumber stores in the area and abroad. Ace is very expensive, but I understand it is convenience and service you pay extra for. I still would shop here for that reason and being the closest to my house. Yesterday, 3/19 my water main broke and my family was without water for half the day. When I came to Ace to purchase the plumbing parts I needed, I came 20 minutes before closing and the employee(s) would not help me. I needed one piece of galvanized steel pipe cut and threaded which takes approximately three minutes to complete. They said they were too busy to help me and the store was about to close. 20 minutes! I am so disappointed with the service that I will now drive the extra distance for any and all of my future business. Bottom line, you do not turn away customers. Especially for the reason they gave me. I hope management does something about this because if this kind of service continues, they will keep losing customers/contractors to Home Depot and Lowes and they will go out of business.

I had been all over town looking for a cartridge for my old tub shower valve, the young man helped me ,we carefully looked it over,he was sure it would work ,he was kind and helpful in my stressful situation,water turned off half the day at home, but i left there feeling hopeful,and he was right..it surely fit, i thank him and appreciate it,and enjoyed my time in the store,it's lovely with nice people.
Kind of pricey compared to Depot/Lowe s, but they are the only place in town for quality nuts and bolts. Hardware aisle is on point.
