As of the time of this writing, I am a first year at Clark in my second semester, and I couldn't be happier with my choice. The earliest classes are at 9am rather than 8, people are friendly, and the RA's just programs often. If I had to say one bad thing, it's that the first few weeks are super humid because New England weather, so that's not fun

To be fair, this is the best school I've ever got to know well, and I've known quite a few schools, including some highly regarded ones that get their stellar ranking by focusing on growing endowments and grabbing the hottest research fellows whilst ignoring students' needs. Clark is the opposite of that; most professors are focused on providing the best education experience as well as providing undergrads with opportunities to engage in research. This is the school that has absolutely exceeded all my expectations.

My son got a great education here. The campus is quite pretty, quite a departure from Worcester in general. He majored in biology and felt that the professors were top notch. He had a great experience abroad in Africa. Overall, he got a good education in the sciences as well as some liberal arts classes.

Not one of the better complexes I've been to so far but still very nice . It has a baseball field ( all turf ) , soccer field ( turf ) and tennis courts. The fields itself are in very good shape but the grounds around it can be kept up better. Plus this is smaller than the ones I've been to. Good seats everywhere for viewing and the bathrooms are clean. Parking could be tough though it's a very crowded area

I've gotten a master's from Clark and from Bentley. The graduate program at Clark was pretty pathetic, and I couldn't believe it was a college degree program, let alone a graduate program. I guess it's fitting that the quality and size of the actual master's degree from Clark was the same as the bachelor's I received from Worcester State.

Clark is a place where people with many different interests are connected by a common passion for positive social change. Undergraduates are provided with ample opportunities for meaningful engagement with various communities on campus, in the city of Worcester and throughout the world. It's a small place with a lot of quirks (Keep Clark Weird!), but you'll never find a more mindful lot. I know it's probably attributed to a bit of self-selection and a whole bunch of confirmation bias, but I owe a lot to this place, and there's no other place I would have rather gone for my study. Once a Clarkie, always a Clarkie. CLARKIE DIEM. - graduate in biology, student-athlete, former employee

I received one of my graduate degrees from Clark in 1975, and 39 years later I can still say that it was the place that I learned how to think. The faculty constantly has your development as a scholar and as an agent for positive social change in mind. Doors are open. Barriers are non-existent. And Worcester is not a bad place in itself, and Boston is a 45 minute bus ride away.

From my visit there and by observing my daughter's growth, I think Clark is achieving the excellence to which they aspire.
My daughter applied for an internship at my agency this summer. After her bi-lingual interview, the section manager said that she was one of the most poised and confident candidates that they had ever met of any age.
Clark has given her the opportunities to grow, not just in the class room, but also in the extracurricular activities and community work programs.

About American Psychological Association

The American Psychological Association (APA) is a professional organization that represents psychologists in the United States. It was founded in 1892 and has since grown to become the largest organization of its kind, with over 118,000 members.

The APA's mission is to promote the advancement, communication, and application of psychological science and knowledge to benefit society and improve lives. To achieve this goal, the APA provides a wide range of resources for psychologists, including research grants, professional development opportunities, and publications.

One of the most important functions of the APA is to establish ethical standards for psychologists. These standards help ensure that psychologists provide high-quality care to their clients while maintaining professional integrity. The APA also advocates for policies that support mental health research and access to mental health services.

In addition to its advocacy work, the APA publishes numerous journals and books on psychology-related topics. These publications are widely read by researchers, clinicians, educators, students, policymakers, and members of the general public who are interested in psychology.

The APA also hosts an annual convention where psychologists from around the world gather to share their research findings and learn about new developments in their field. This convention is one of the largest gatherings of psychologists in the world.

Overall, joining the American Psychological Association can be an excellent way for professionals in this field to stay up-to-date on current research trends while networking with other experts in their field. Whether you're a student just starting out or an experienced practitioner looking for new opportunities for growth and development within your career path - there's something here at Clark University that will help you challenge convention & change our world!
