My experience here at this school was great. The professors that teach all have hands on training, experience, and are willing to share that knowledge with you. As a recent graduate of the EMT program, I am extremely excited for what the Paramedic program has to offer.

Everything was perfect. It was an excellerated course which fit my schedule perfectly. Nice positive environment and everyone was professional (instructors, administrators/tech support). If you are looking for flexibility, this is the Academy for you.

Had a great experience at AMA, great staff and knowledgeable instructors. just recently completed my EMT course and recently registered for my Paramedics program. If you get a chance to request Anthony Hernandez (Junior)as your Instructor, do it! you will not regret it, he is full of knowledge. A special thanks to Rosey and Rudy for being our co- leads. all together my experience was great and would recommend it to anyone looking to get a start in the field of EMS!

Great school, great instructors and great preparation and resources to study for the national registry exam for EMT. Highly recommended.

A school and a great program. Great instructors who really prepare one and demonstrate the best form and material to use to take the national exam to register EMT (emergent medicine technician).

AMA has been very helpful. The instructors walked us through all the skills and material, and the office gave us step-by-step walkthroughs of how to get our certificates.

I really enjoyed attending this school. The equipment is exceptional, the instructors really care about the students, and the office easily handles any questions that you may have. The instructor to student ratio is about 1:15, so every student gets a lot of hands on. The instructors are excellent, and they make sure that every student fully understands the subject that is being reviewed. Some instructors even help students on their off time to make sure that they understand the material. Overall, I truly enjoyed attending this school, and I recommend it to anyone who wants to pursue a career in paramedicine.

10 out of 10 this school is a must to attend to get your EMS school completed. It s a comfortable environment and instructors are always there pushing you as students. School has all types of equipment so that way you can practice to perform well on the field. School is always clean and well taken care of. Highly recommend especially with such awesome great instructors.

AMA is not regionally accepted or accredited so you CAN NOT !!!transfer any credit to any other school . The staff are fake nice as long as they're getting your money . They lie and say they will provide you with all the help but its a sale tactic like the rest of these small schools . If you enter the nursing program just know you're on your own and Lala will push you to apply for all the student loans in the world . When you voice how you feel they will gang up on you and now all a sudden you dnt fit the standard .i understand not school are perfect and we all make mistakes but they will make you buy 4 different lab kits but only use it once .classes are not flexible and staff is unprofessional. The front desk girl is nice and the Online teachers are okay but this its just a buiness for the rest of them and as long as you are paying they're happy .

I came from another school that CLOSED DOWN so i signed up with AMA. I graduated from the paramedic program and I'm currently signing up for the EMS DEGREE. The negative reviews on here are completely wrong. This is a program that is SHORTER than Miami Dade colleges. You finish faster.. and move on to the fire academy if that's your route How many schools have closed? AMA has been around for years and they opened up a RN program? PUT IN THE WORK I've seen people sign up that were in my class thinking they would breeze through.. sorry. If you're serious about it.. sign up.

Taking my Emt course at AMA has been an amazing experience. All the instructors made things interesting and fun, also everyone was very helpful with all of our needs. While being in the class room, the instructor made things very clear and easy to understand and same goes for the labs. I recommend this school to anyone going in to either Ems or nursing.

One of the best schools i've been to, instructors go out of their way to help you understand the course material and you have more than enough resources to help you Ace your course. I would recommend for anyone looking to get certified as a EMT to come to AMA.

I would not recommend this school. After completing my first semester of the core nursing program, (with straight A's) I was advised to take a leave of absence until the following semester because there was not enough students to continue with my cohort. I was told I can start with the new student come January. It wasn't until the 1 week before enrollment deadline I was advised they were not going to continue with the evening classes and I had to find another school. The professors are great but the administration is horrible. Needless to say I had to repeat and pay to take the same classes because they are non-transferable.

very good.

Great school to attend. Very well recognized at all fire stations and hospitals. The instructors really take their time to make sure you understand the material. I would recommend this school to anyone that wants to get in the EMS field.

EMT and Paramedic courses they have available are well placed to fit different schedules. They provided night and morning classes with amazing instructors who have the experience and knowledge to teach. The instructors show their love for what they do in all their classes. You honestly couldn't find better instructors then at this school. As well as all of those who work behind the curtain (office admin.) to make sure everything correlated with the school is functioning and going smoothly.
Special thanks to these instructors who always do their best: Moe, Rob, Alex, Rose, Chris, Ozzy, Mike, Junior and everyone else who gladly jumped into help.

I hope everyone planning to enroll on the nursing program value and take into consideration this review, because by taking my time to write it I am not just trying to give 1 star, but to open others eyes and avoid them to go thru what others went by trusting this program. When you first go there to find information they (Alex) will tell you everything you want to hear and exactly what you are looking for. They even provide you with papers and documents and write graduation dates that are invalid, they will ask you for money to transfer credits and once you pay, enroll and start the program they will announce you changes "to help the students" that will only make you waste more money and time, so be ready to hear at any time that the initial contract you sign was waived and there's new rules, program extensions and transfers cancelled( but you will never see that money you paid returned to you). After you make arrangements in your personal and professional life to accommodate to an schedule that was offered, you will find yourself in the air, either looking for other schools or even worse waiting for them to open the next class promising again something they couldn't keep in first place. It is sad to request a meeting to ask them to honor what initially was offered and hear them tell you that the Director of Nursing rather lose the students that do not accept the changes than respect the rules that were in place when you enrolled. It truly changes every plan you had to advance in your education. It discourage you to keep going. This shouldn't happen, we are adults with responsibilities, families and respect should be a MUST when it comes to students. No changes should applied in the middle of the program, not even is the reason is to save you school of such a poor passing NCLEX rate, apply those changes to next class by being honest with them and explaining the terms from the beginning. This is my first time reviewing on Google, for me time is priceless and the only reason I'm doing this is to help others to be aware of something I didn't know. At least now you have the circumstances and if this happen to you is because you chose to take that risk. Wish I knew before it happened to my class. Nothing justify to make changes in the middle of a program, absolutely NOTHING, is unprofessional and unethical. No student paying or not for their education should go thru this. Is just sad and unacceptable, but this school did it.
