My husband had a cardiac emergency in January while at the airport. We live 8 hrs from Atlanta in another state. He did have to stay in ER overnight due to no rooms available, which is very understandable at this time, I cannot Thank the ER Dr, nurses, & staff enough for the excellent care he was given & keeping me updated on treatments, condition & results. I truly praise all healthcare workers for working during the biggest health crisis going on in the world right now. Thank you so so much

third shift front desk was VERY rude, none of the doctors took my medical emergency serious. I had a seizure and they told me I didn t because I had memory of it and write it off as an anxiety attack. There are several types of epileptic seizures!!! The lack of education in the medical field will be the demise of us all.

Despite the long wait times, the staff was really nice to me. However, the front staff at the desk when the night shift starts is when the whole place becomes chaos. They seem to lack communication. They have the staffing but the head nurse doesn t know how to distribute tasks throughout the groups of assistants, so it s multiple people working on the same thing or same person. I was there for 4 1/2 hours due to the lack of communication and available beds because it seems like the head nurse refused to open the other side of the screening rooms. Overall, the nurses and doctors was very nice to me throughout the entire experience.

On April 9 2021 my wife was rushed by ambulance to this hospital. We spent about 5 hours at this hospital. Most of the front desk staff was awful. The lost my wife's first draw of blood, put the incorrect ID bracelet around her arm and treated her poorly. I actually don't 100% blame the front office staff I blame management for inefficient and ineffective leadership. There was 1 bright spot during our brief stay there. The doctors and a couple of the nurses that were in the room @230 am, you all helped save my wife's life. This is a tip for those of you who work at the front desk area. Your actions and your attitude are actually hurting people. If you are doing it just for the money, then leave and let someone who actually cares fill your position

This has been the best care I ve ever experienced. Don t be fooled by the negative reviews. This hospital may not have the aesthetics of the larger hospitals but the doctors, nurses, and assistants are great and give great care. This is the most attentive staff I ve experienced. I hope they receive more funding.

Nurse Renanda was great, personable and attentive during my brief stay for a medical procedure. The attending surgeon, Dr. Miller-Hammond from Atlanta Surgery Associates was amazing and handled my problem with ease.

I was pressured to remove my mom out of ICU. The reason was because they couldn't get a reading. Because of that she was denied rehab and outside dialysis. ICU was tired of boarding her so she was forced to hospice stage. My mom is in her Right mind and aware. She had surgery last Tuesday which is still healing they put a bag on her for the healing process. I felt the attending doctor was treating mom like a number not an actual human being. The day before she didn't receive dialysis in unit because they didn't feel she needed it. When they knew she depended on it. Ultimately it's in God's hands. But I'm very disappointed. I have So much respect for the medical field But I really feel the Ball was dropped when it came to my Mom

My dads been in there for multiple weeks was transfered there to be rehabbed and took off of oxygen. He very rarely sees a doctor they call is tell us one thing and tell him completely diff. Not sure what truth and lie was or if its all lies. He been told that he could come home twice now and they day of it somebody random will pop up and say that he can't in that nobody ever told him that. Even when it came from a doctor himself. They keep doing covid test and say the swab test is a very inaccurate test but they continue to give it to him 3 times so far. They say he needs be on oxygen when he leaves but when they take him off of oxygen he's breathing fine on his own. We get calls from them saying test results came back positive for things but when he talks to doctor there still waiting for the results and can't figure out who called. Machine was going crazy for 4 hours in middle of night before they try do anything. All the staff( may be some that was nice) but for the majority was rude and treated you like you was a burden to them being there. The doctor actually walked out and slammed the door on my dad because he was ticked off and he wouldn't give my dad a straight answer. List could go on and on and on. This is the worst hospital that I've seen or even heard off. And I'm from Douglas county and that saying somthing. Please if all possible go to a different hospital. I know not everybody there is horrible but a few number very little in number.
