Top class. Very very good. Wonderful and comfortable
Excellent hotel and extremely friendly and competent staff!
Incredible service, stunning surroundings and fabulous food.
Love the experience. Nice and professional service.
Heavenly. Inspiring. This was the perfect restorative getaway. Beautiful desert, breath-taking triple rainbow, lovely service.
Hermozo place loa enpleados very friendly with all definitely elegant.
Great environment, great design, great food.
It is a pity that there are people who do not think Asian people well.
And that Japanese group customers visit.
It is a mistake to come to such a resort through a travel agent.
And Japanese people are hated.
Be warned this place is very creepy. I came across this place driving down 89 and decided to take a detour into the desert by taking a dirt road which then turned into a dry wash. So I traveled up this wash witnessing some men on horses, as well as two parked black s.u.v's in the same wash as us. We drove right passed them, the wash ended up turning into a well maintained dirt road. Immediately after we turned left onto this road we noticed a complete cement structure acid stained to match the color of the desert. There was a 50 foot high retention wall all the way around this place as well as cameras every 10 feet along this wall. We pulled around the back side of the structure and noticed about 50 black vehicles, all of which had a license plate from a different state?! I got out of my vehicle to ask someone for directions back to the highway. As I approached someone I noticed everyone was dressed exactly the same and they all had sunglasses. But I saw some steps to the left of me so I walked up and to the right there was a set of double doors which were opened. Inside the room was about the size of a football field and three 80 foot long tables and each seat had a plate setting. The place gave me the creeps. There are no windows and no doors besides the ones I entered. As I retreated back to my vehicle, I was approached by one of the white t-shirt, red short freaks and was then told I would be escorted out to the highway. There were 3 security check points on my way out. When I got to the highway I noticed I was still being followed for about 20 miles and had to drive into the desert to lose the freaks in their sunglasses and s.u.v's. I live in this area and have for 30 years and this is the weirdest place ever. It's got area 51 written all over it. Just makes me wonder what the hell they have going on that is so goddamn secretive if it's just a "retreat". This place has no views anyone. And btw on my way in I noticed fake birds just sitting completely still for 30 seconds..I know they were cameras. Also saw a huge pond with barbed wire fence around it that said "bio-hazard" on it. I could afford to stay at this place, but after seeing it with my own eyes you couldn't pay me to stay there. Idk why anyone would stay here. My kids got major creeps because even they could see something weird was up with this supposed "retreat". I have one word run if u ever find yourself anywhere near this place. I think this "retreat" is a cover for god knows what. It is not natural and there are even holes drilled into the sides of the canyon with ladders going to them but the ladder was about 20 feet from the ground probably so other people can't climb them. The holes were about 30 feet by 30 feet. The hazardous waste pond I mentioned earlier was near these "out of place" caves.
The location is unique and extremely beautiful but the the hotel structure is designed for Summer, Spring (maybe Fall) but not Winter season.
I found especially problematic the Spa area, with the locker/changing room in a separate building from the Sauna/Steam room structure, substantially forcing you to walk outdoor with only a robe on. Also, due to the large wooden doors of the Sauna/steam room building, with people entering and exiting, there was a lot of cold air circulation in the rest area.
Another downside is the air heating system in the rooms that can't warm the concrete floors (very cold despite a few rugs) and that is running almost constantly night and day if you want to have a warm room.
There is a beautiful heated pool outside, but again I would have expected, with low temperatures outside, to have a changing room near the pool or even with access to the pool (any temporary heated structure could work) to make the experience more pleasant and accessible.
Food was good but I hoped to try more local recipes (especially for breakfast - very good homemade pastry!)
The staff is extremely kind, well trained and discrete. Best part of the experience for me.
Also the hotel provides a number of great activities (from Yoga to hikes to workshops and shows), all worth trying.
Fantastic stay at this beautiful Hotel! Great service!
superb
It lacks a private plane connection to Los Angeles.
The regular company is not reliable
What to say .... it's a private park, a private lot that they traded with the government this land is amazing, a museum, we did not expect that. You really feel that you are a privileged place, a unique place in the world, we are lucky to have had the chance to stay there. Impeccable service, breathtaking views, only the pillows but I did not ask others.
Excellent facilities and heritable.... cave painting dating back to 10000 years
One of the most exclusive and incredible hotels I've ever stayed in my life. Hotel architecture is simply impressive, minimalist and austere yet cozy and comfortable. Great idea of a different resort. Amangiri is part of the Aman resort hotels recognized by their unique service and exclusivity. Can be used as a super VIP base camp for all the outdoor activities that surround the area.
Beautiful resort blends in with the stunning geological features of the landscape. Staff is friendly, helpful and attentive.
holy moly this place is ridiculously amazing. the landscape is breathtaking and the architecture fits perfectly. the service is impeccable and we felt well taken care of from the moment we opened our car door. the rooms are so comfortable and back out straight into the landscape. we also got gifts - a welcome card, chocolate, reusable bottles and a beautiful dreamcatcher. the food is to die for and the chefs are able to cater for any dietry requirements. food is all included but alcohol isn't. there is a pool, boutique, gallery, fitness centre, spas and saunas. we had the 90 minute massages which included singing bowls which was bliss. we had organised a hot air balloon ride and helicopter ride but unfortunately due to the weather they had to be cancelled. the staff were able to organise very quickly a tour guide to take us to antelope canyon who was very knowledgeable and friendly.
Off the charts spectacular in every way. I felt like a rock star.
Seriously unbelievable place. Worth the money. Everything about the hotel is amazing, the location, the building, the food, the staff.
The best hotel on the earth .
So worm and welcoming but still so much advanced adventures on the property.
Stayed in many hotels around the world, this is my favorite. Period
An incredible experience at a stratospheric price, magical location, splendid suite and mostly excellent service. We did also like the restauration. We had nonetheless noted some imperfections - I was notably refused the entrance of the hotel the day after we left while I wanted to recover forgotten papers !! Cleanliness is to be revised as well as some furniture that become used.
