I'm a truck driver and I've picked up two loads here. The first was the worse load I've hauled in my career. It was unsafe and when I told the loader he just went on loading.. So I called my driver manger to fix the problem.. they made a few calls and I was greeted by the Load manger.. who ask me what my problem was. I told him what was wrong and that I wouldn't be able to get down presser on the whole load..he told me that how they did it and and told the loader to make it even. After the encounter nothing was change so I used what I had on my truck to make the Load shaft for me to haul. When I got to the delivery while unloading it the Load tip over.. this is the worst place to pick up a load always a wait and and just a really bad attitude all around.. all drivers avoided at all cost I will not go there for a load ever again...

before you get a good review from me you must first pay your union health care package do you know your jeopardizing your worker health the floor people are the heart off the company and you treat them like no one with out the the extrusion operators or stretchers saw operators no one get paid there be no shapes at all

It's taking forever to load a truck. Spent here over 6 hours. You will get a part of material loaded in one dock, then will be sent to another, where you'll have to wait again.

DO NOT come to this company to get loaded with a truck!!! They are the slowest ever and I think they do it on purpose just so they can get overtime hours.

Much better company after New ownership. Great product, great staff, fast business.

A little on the slow side but nice and light loads.

UNETHICAL PEOPLE YOU CAN'T DEPEND ON.

All positions involved with production at Aluminum Shapes are union I was hired as a Production Assistant and selected for the Anodizing department. Once hired individuals were placed on a 120 day probationary period before qualifying for the union in the meantime union fees were being subtracted from your weekly pay. If you did not make it past the probationary period the union fees collected from your pay went into the pocket of the union. The conditions inside the warehouse are typical for such jobs involving extreme heat and humidity during the summer months and the cold during winter. No matter what the conditions were the foreman stayed on you to keep working at a fast pace it seemed not to matter if you needed a drink of water or use the restroom. On regular occasions the foremans and manager would treat new hires such as myself in the most unprofessional manner. They would yell and use profanities whenever things were not done as they wanted. If that wasn't enough it was clear favoritism practiced by the foremans where certain employees were treated better than others. Co-workers who disrespected others were not terminated as long as they pushed to get the work out and worked 6 days a week. What was important to the foremans and manager was keeping the production numbers up at all costs. The company rules were not always applied fair and equally especially for new hires.

Excellent products, great staff and factory workers. Highly recommend this company to fill your orders. Made In America !
