Really nice large ski field area, biggest in Fukushima ?? Beautiful views of Mt Bandai and Inawashiro lake. You won't regret going. Only one disappointment - no vegan food so lunch was a problem.

Every year seems to be more and more cost cutting. Lifts are closed for questionable reasons, the facility and hotel could really do with a freshen up. Having said that, Alts is still a pretty good place to visit with a variety of terrain. It's a shame the rising ticket prices is not reflected in improvements in the resort.

Friendly to snow boarder and entry learners.

Friendly to snow boarder and entry learners.

Lift speed is slow.
Crowded in lower part of the routes.
Difficult routes are mostly short and located in upper part, it s tough to approach from one to another because of the flat connection trail.

Excellent resort with fantastic facilities and a large area to explore. Plenty of terrain for beginners and intermediates. Staff are friendly and you can get by with English. Some of the on mountain signage for trails are also in English which makes navigation simple. Stunning views of My Bandai, the lake and surrounds from the top.
Food on the mountain is good and not entirely overpriced like most resorts.
Rental was a breeze with English forms and friendly experienced staff. Highly recommend it!

Recommended for a lot of park runs/items and decently spaced tree skiing at the top (Nekoma Bowl 2). (Just beware of the ski patrol) Very large with tons of variety so beginners can tag along too. Facilities are very new and good restaurants are plenty.

Pretty average resort that'll keep you entertained for a day to warm up. Some good piste opportunities for intermediate to advanced skiers, but that's about it. Nothing to really offer off piste, the trees are far too tight in many places. Be awesome if they did some glading of the trees and made a few tree runs, that's when this place could really shine and offer what other resorts in area could but do not, and that's a real shame. Good resort to warm up on before heading to some of the off the beaten track resorts further down the rd.
