Like this place a lot. Cookies are to die-for, great baguette. Reasonably priced.
One of the best places where to eat in Atlanta, "Moroccan chicken sandwich" is the best sandwich I have ever had. Great cuisine !!!
Awesome deli with so many options! My go-to's are the French Connection salad and the Greco salad.
It's a great place to eat anything, because everything is so good. Service is good, and one can enjoy the food seating in a nice place. Only one thing if you are on a diet don't go there because it will be the end of your diet.
Very pleasant and educating as well. The gentleman at the cheese counter today taught me that my knowledge of cheese was elementary compared to his. AWESOME experience!
Every good food is available here, from farm eggs to cultured cheese and superior pastries
Wish the service was more consistent with the quality of the restaurant because I love this place.
If you're all about indie and gourmet foods, here is a place of significance. The fromage and fruit preserves are endless. The best selection I've seen in the metropolitan. My Israeli breakfast included two types of cheese (cheddar and goat cheese), dayum it's the creamiest cheeses I've tasted! The jams were seedless and smooth spread; country French bread was thin and fresh.
The groceries are somewhat pricey but if artisanal and organic appeals to you, the price is not questionable because the quality is worth it. The staff is pretty knowledgeable and friendly, and they're happy to give samples and product info. There's no wait to be seated, plus food service is speedy. I love this place for a quick snack or meal. Moreover, the foods are guilt free. You'll be impressed if you're interested in all natural everything.
A quality provisioner and excellent for quick bites. Perhaps the best bread in Atlanta.
Katie is fantastic! Best pastries I have ever had!!! Desserts are phenomenal!
I felt like in any pastry shop in Caracas Venezuela of the 90's Excellent / I felt like any pastry shop in Caracas Venezuela of the 90's Excellent
Alon s has so much variety!!! Every time I visit, I try something new!!! Good food and great ambience.
I love Alon's bakery, the cake is always so rich in cream and taste. Ive been buying their cake for about a year for special occasions. This recent week I placed an order and was quiet disappointed. When we cut into the cake... about 20% of the actual cake was cake and the other 80% was cream. I was not expecting that considering that I have ordered this cake before and it looked noting like this. I ordered the Raspberry Chocolate mousse and understand that the cream is the mousse, but i was expecting more cake rather than the cream. The cake still tasted amazing! Im not going to give this review lower than a 5 star because I dont want to ruin the reputation of the store just because of this mistake. But for the future, I would recommend adding less cream and more cake. Thank you!
Delicious food and desserts BUT need to clean tables at breakfast
I was a fan of the original and this one turned out to be a bigger, newer version. Great variety
I like their food & atmosphere. It is a little pricey but some of the items you find at this store are not found easily anywhere else (other than online, of course). I recommend sandwich and soup/ salad combo.
Mocha so much better than Starbucks, it's worth it. But, I'd watch the OJ, it was a wee bit old.
Attended for a holiday menu tasting event. Food was delicious. I d deffo recommend.
This is one of my favorites spots in Atlanta. It's got a fresh bread bakery as well as desserts, pizza, chocolate, lunch/dinner, etc. It's got it all: oils, cheeses, wine, pasta, snacks. You can eat, have a cappuccino, and shop. I went one Saturday and loved it so much I took my family back the next week. There's seriously something in there for everyone. Lots of parking, seating, and options make this place a healthy/fresh must try.
Can't say enough wonderful things about the ever delightful Alon's! Creatively curated grocery selection with many local brands well represented. Delicious croissants, cheese, pickles and wine in an eclectic anthropologie like merchandised experience. Impressive!
I don't know whether I can express how much I love love love Alon's Bakery. They have an assortment of delicious items in their market ranging from baked goods, dips, cheeses, drinks, and a variety of packaged snacks. They have a lovely restaurant area where you can order from a menu of sandwiches and paninis and choose sides such as kale salad or quinoa salad to go along with it. The best and absolute amazing part of this place though is their dessert section! The cakes are so great and they not only sell whole cakes but slices as well. The macaroons are some of the best Ive ever had and I would recommend anyone to buy food from here and you will not be disappointed.
Went for lunch. It's a little non traditional. They have a market with stuff to go and you can get pre-made food. You can preheat it for yourself with a microwave and there is a coffee station I guess. They also have made to order food. We had pizza, a complicated Thai salad, some tomato soup and a sandwich. It was fine.
Breakfast is good but they don't allow you to have eggs cooked any other way than on the menu. You can't add items to your order like another egg either. It also takes unusually long to get your coffee or beverage once you make an order at the cashier station.
Don't waste your money or risk getting sick. Just had a bite of a Cranberry Scone. I immediately spit it out and promptly threw it away. It was the nastiest thing I've tasted in a long time. Closest was a bagel from a "Flying Biscuit Bakery" (hahaha) in Atlanta or something from Kroger but even they are better in this case. Publix Scones are -way- better. This tasted like it had been sitting in an old dark dank cupboard for a very long time. Dry, flaky, stale, and more of a cake than a SCONE.!!!. Pathetic. You should be ashamed. Turn in your sifters, mixers, & ovens. Close the store. Not even worth recycling for it's all contaminated & tainted with the shame of such a failure. Never bake again. Don't waste your money or risk getting sick... Stick to Pop Tarts. =,(
I love their desserts, their food is of very high quality, prices are fair for the quality of the food.
A beautiful place to hang out with your friends. The cofee with all the baked goods is extremely refreshing. Its a mood changing specially in the weekends.
Love going here! They are always friendly, have great food and drinks and some of the best cookies we've had!!
Nice food!
Lot of sandwiches, salads and plates. Good place to go for lunch and amuse any kind of eaters
Alon's is a great place to grab excellent food and have a beverage or meal and conversation while sitting on their Terrace or inside the shop with the delicious smells that emanate from coffee, herbs, and baked goods.
Delicious desserts. They also have very good food options as well as specialty items available.
Sorry customer service The doors were supposed to be open at 8 o clock People were standing out side of the door for 10 minutes before they opened the door for business this morning! :-) Totally unacceptable!
Also, the tables on the outside of the restaurant with filthy and dirty Please improve your customer serviceAnd cleanliness. Management needs to step it up.
I took am taking my business elsewhere! And you guys just missed a sale because of slothfulness and uncleanliness.
Mr. Alon is an amazing guy, also Catalina is amazing lady both very friendly. This was an awesome place to work at!!! Highly recommended from me, a former employee!!!
A little hard to navigate at first. The barista was very nice and helpful!
To the person who posted that she was racially profiled in this place. I have been coming in here since it has opened and never once felt discriminated against. This is a very nice place to come and eat on a breezy Saturday afternoon. I love the selections of foods and I think I will start trying the takeout to go next time. I m a big fan of this place so much so I used stop off for cookies when I lived in Nashville for a short while.
This site is my favorite restaurant. Of all restaurants I know I like it most. I always suggests to my friends to go to this restaurant. when I I need a fair lunchon, this restaurant comes immediately to my head. exeptionalgorgeous and food and a large list of dishes.courteous staff members, and great atmosphere. Also important, the tariff is honest. I recommend this place with pleasure.
Best fruit pastries - just like what I had in Nice, France.
The aroma when you walk through the door lets you know you are in for a treat.
I was referred to this location by peer director
and drove 1.5 hours to be told that I could not purchase nor come inside the store due to not having a mask.
After addressing the manager that info should be addressed at their website, the manager noted is on the door. He was very rude and his communication skills were very poor addressing his comments in front of other customers. Lost a customer and my clients indeed!!! Ely needs management training to run a store. Please address the mask issue at your website so other customers do not suffer the consequences of the inept management!
Delicious cakes and tarts. I would take more pictures but I always eat the cakes before I remember to share a picture of it.
This place also serves sandwiches for lunch and dinner. As wl as take home pizza, roast beef , pasta etc.
It is located just across from Perimeter Mall and is just a short way from Highway 285.
Great place for lunch! The only reason I'm rating 4 instead of 5 is the prices. It's a bit more expensive for what I'm expecting, but don't get me wrong, the food is great and the venue is very trendy and inviting.
Good sandwiches, and cakes, but prices are bit high.
Tanya is THE BEST !! We always love seeing her because we know we'll be well taken care of. The Salmon is bomb y'all...
My family absolutely love this place typically. The food and service have always been amazing. Today, however, was an exception. My boyfriend and I go to order sandwiches at the ordering station, and we quickly notice that the man taking our order (his name I came to find out is Benjamin) is being very short and snippy. This was fine, since I understand people have bad days. We sit down with our food and realize our fries were missing. My boyfriend goes back to get them, and is immediately met with skepticism. Benjamin asked if we in fact had ordered fries as if we were lying, which was surprising since we ordered not more than five minutes prior. Then, my boyfriend asked for ketchup and Benjamin and the woman next to him look at him like he has three heads and just say "no". We can't have been the first people to ask for ketchup............. with fries......... I then go in and I say "you really have no ketchup in this entire establishment." The woman just shakes her head no with her arms crossed and Benjamin gruffly says "I will ask." Just as we suspected, they did in fact have ketchup at the coffee bar. Thankfully, the woman behind the coffee bar was incredibly nice and helpful. I have a very bad taste in my mouth about Alon's after this entire experience of terrible customer service.
Top quality and incredible variety of type of food and bakery options. I personally love eating a margarita pizza with the kale salad on top and finish with a espresso shot.
I love the macarons here. They also have cheeses, cookies, ready made food, and pop in the oven ready dishes.
This was my first time to Alon's. I arrived for an early dinner. We were with friends who had been there before, but it was still slightly confusing. I get that it might supposed to be European / Middle-eastern but this Georgia boy didn't know what he was doing. Attentive staff might have helped. They had a wide variety of salads, pastas, and desserts plus a refrigerated selection of beverages. They have plenty of outdoor seating and a few tables inside, as well. Dinner was great and dessert was pretty good. I would go back and probably would know more of where to go after having shopped once.
Everything is good and the staff is amazing and friendly
Cool spot! Yummy food to eat there or take home. Bakery selection is delicious, too.
First visit here. Ordered special that was 1/4 white meat chicken, green beans w/almonds, mashed potatoes for $9.49 The chicken was moist and tender, as was the green beans. I switched mashed potatoes for their hand cut French fries. My friend ordered same meal but with the mashed potatoes. Both of us were amazed at the delicious meal for the price. You must go past all the tempting desert items to get to the back of the store to order your meal. You wait till your name is called & handed your "plate" no trays. Located at the front entrance are utensils condiments, etc.
At 1:50 p.m.on a Friday the place was full. Noise level high with so many customers and children. Will go again but definitely earlier in the day.
Catalina the "catering manager" is rude and acts uneducated, doesn't seem to know how to get an order correct. Megan the "manager" doesn't seem to care enough to even call a customer back, bad business. I say only buy what is in front of you at this place because Catalina will most likely mess your order up after you pay in advance.
Amazing bakery with all types of other deli foods available.
Terrific breakfast ... and it came quickly too. My son and I agreed the scrambled ages that came with the steak and eggs dish were the best we've ever tasted.
First time here... great service and selection of deli items were a feast for my eyes!
This is the best place ever all the bread is fresh all meals are prepared fresh every day look you can't find a better place than this and if you can please let me know and I see if we can add up two alarms alons is the best
The only reason I even give this restaurant one star, is because the pastries were delicious. However, I think this was some of the worst customer service I have ever seen. When I informed the barista that our drinks were not made correctly, she refused to remake them, saying she made what was on the receipt. I told her the one taking my order has messed up (who admitted she messed up) and she didn t care. She kept us waiting for 30 minutes and never remade our drinks. Finally, I went to the First Lady who took our orders and SHE (not the barista) went to remake our drinks (therefore not at quality because she s not a barista). Something that could have taken 2 seconds to fix was drawn out, dramatic, and unprofessional on the baristas part. Very disappointed because I was traveling through, and was told to stop here.
I met alon while I was performing on a play called how to use a knife,he invited me to his bistro.great food.fresh and quality all around it is refreshing to see a place like this around my neighborhood
An ideal place to grab a fresh coffee and bread while enjoying beautiful people enjoying life.i could eat here every day
Long life alon's :)
I am from Fort Worth, this is first time there I was impressed and the prices are reasonable for this type bakery. I wish such a bakery and market in DFW area.
Very cozy very French just for your information almond croissants is just a day old croissants that you fill with almond cream and cock it again hence the double backed
Overpriced Breakfast items ..i got the omlet which was not as presentable they slices 4 small potatoes and charged almost 15dollars photo below ..service is decent ..more to come as i try new items but breakfast is a NO!! ONLY got 1star because it want allow me to give 0stars
It is a delight to come here meet with friends and have good healthy food. I highly recommend it!!
Unique, great place to eat or have coffee, or just people watch.
It was a bit confusing at first because there are so many options of fresh foods available. You go to the counter and choose items to put in one container for a set price. I had a variety of wonderful salads but there are also meats options, but i did not see them initially.
It's so much fun there., Both shopping and eating. Love how unique and healthy the foods and drinks there are.
