My husband and I (along with several other people) were sued by a neighbor for renting our homes. Jacob Scheick was referred to us as he had experience in HOA legislation. We paid the $1500 retainer fee to specifically get some legal questions answered so we could decide our best course of action. His report did not answer any of my questions or even make any reference to them. Instead, he indicated that we would “likely will need to ride the coat tails of the other STR owners” named in the lawsuit. When I complained that I was paying him to answer my questions, which he did not address, he responded that we were “not a good fit.” He did refund my retainer. My takeaway is that if you want to hire an attorney that will work for you, address your issues, and answer your questions, take a hard pass on Jacob Scheick.

The ABDM law firm has represented our businesses and several legal matters specifically counselor/partner Jacob Scheick. His command of the law on and off the courtroom is of the few and far between. We have retained other very competent local firms in the past but feel that Jacob s personal touch and technical punch with legal matters gets the job done every time. He s a fair and altruistic individual to which he talks very little about. I would recommend him every time.

This law firm is awesome and thoughtful this is the second time myself that I have used them. In 2017 I was in a wreak that the other person hit and ran this was the first time I have used them and the attorney I had was Jason Billack and his paralegal Deya Castillo amazing, thoughtful, caring people. Jason would always call me and let me know what was going on and even if there was no update they would still call and Deya was so helpful and understanding with everything this was the first time I had ever been in a wreak and in December 3 myself, my husband and my daughter where hit from behind by an aggressive driver guy driving and so I went back to this amazing firm and got back Jason and Deya again and same as before amazing work done for us. How I came to hear back this firm is my husband family used this firm back in 2001 for the wrongful death of his grandma and her sister who where hit and killed by an 18 wheeler drive and this firm did our family well then . If you ever need thoughtful Attonery come to them they are amazing

I needed an addendum during a real estate transaction and they came through for me quickly and professionally. Gabi was quick to respond and got me set up with a lawyer who was a good fit for my needs. I was picky about the addendum and Jacob was patient with me and did a few iterations of it until I was happy. Great service all around, will return for future needs.

I had a bad experience with this firm. Particularly Jacob Scheick. Im not sure if hes been at the firm a short time but he does not seem to understand common law. Not sure where they got this guy but stay from this firm for sure. There are other more competent law firms out there.
