I am a senior at Alma getting ready to graduate in April. I have fallen in love with the college and I cannot imagine being anywhere else for my undergraduate studies. I love the professors I have and have met so many wonderful people from all walks of life. I wouldn't trade the education I have received and the people I have met at Alma for anything.
Having sent children & grandchildren there, I could glimpse what Alma offered. Amazing education. Professors really educate the whole person & care about the students & offer personal involvement with faculty. Foreign travel, broad education--just a terrific education institution.
This college is only focused on money. Trying pinch every penny out of you. They really need to focus on the students more, rather than making a profit. I took 4 years of a field that I want to pursue a career in and have failed the certification exam twice and wanted 700$. No preparation at all from my class.
I am a junior here at Alma College and in just the 3 years I have been here I have experienced incredible things and have been apart of amazing opportunities. I have travelled to the U.K. for a month for my spring term. I am a part of he Alma College Theatre and I have staged managed a show. I also have been employed on campus since freshman year and that has introduced me to many alumni and taught me many skills and good work ethic that will be beneficial in future jobs once I graduate.
I am a first year student at Alma College and even in my first few months here I have felt very welcoming. The campus always has events going on and everyone is always helpful!
The best educational experience, I ever had, in my life. Very small classes and study relationships with each of my professors. My Alma College degree, more then prepared me, for a very successful career. Even now, in retirement, I recommend the Alma College "experience" to all of the young people that I meet who are looking for a quality college education and experience.
Alma College prepared me for a career and it prepared me for life. I could pursue both my academic and personal interests and had the security of a place where people cared about me to both celebrate achievements and make mistakes. Personal connections with professors, life-changing experiences around the globe, and an environment that fosters and encourages growth; Alma helped me discover the person I wanted to be and I am forever grateful.
As a graduate of Alma College, I have benefited from the education that I received. The faculty prepared me to think critically and strive for success. Friends that I made, both while in college and as an alum, continue to be lifelong associates. #plaidworks
I'm a sophomore, and I absolutely love this college. They have provided me with every opportunity I was looking for in a college, such as travel, good academics, and professional experience, all while the support from the faculty has helped me be successful and actually be able to receive said opportunities. I couldn't imagine going to any other college, Alma is truly my home away from home!
