They do business with shady dealerships that trick you into signing not needed warranties. Then they will not let you cancel it a day later even if you were lied to by dealership financial people and tricked. Calling out freeway ford in Denver Colorado.

this is the hardest company to contact. i was told i did not have allstate benefits when i called an allstate 1-800 number. imagine my surprise last night when i noticed a debit charge of 122.15 on my bank statement. i will continue trying to find a working number. they also do business as american accident life insurance.

Nobody ever answers the phone. They say you can look at this on their website. You can't if you can't register b/c you need to talk to an agent beforehand. Sucks pretty bad. Have cars/home/etc with Allstate which I will probably change.

This is absolutely the worst insurance company I have ever dealt with! They make you track down billing codes and itemized statements from every service provider. Learning how to navigate the "medical billing" waters was a chore! I've spent months of time and energy arguing with this company. Completing their claim forms requires a degree in claim processing. Their Customer Service Representatives have neither the knowledge nor the experience necessary to answer claim related questions and you are not allowed to speak with a Claims Officer. I have filed claims, re-filed and then filed again only to initiate a suit against the company to force them to perform.

The company and its staff including a supervisor named Thomas lack professionalism and they should never be in business of providing customer service!!! I would give you a negative of 100 stars if google would allow! They keep sending my senior citizen parents checks with no information provided and they keep asking them to cash them. I contacted these incompetent people to get an explanation and they keep telling me they need to get authorization to speak to my father or provide a signed HIPPA form to talk with me. At this point I don t even trust a single soul at your company to provide any more information to you!!! I am the one not trusting you and contacting you with regard to why these checks in front of me are without notes explaining why mailed to people, and not the other way around!! Your customer service is the worse by far in any professional business that I have seen! I didn t ask you guys to provide me any private information with regard to anyone including my dad, I asked you to tell me why you are so incompetent to even provide an explanation with these checks to the person receiving them to as why they are receiving them!!!!!! BTW, there is no Heritage or American in you, your staff and complete BS of what you call a company!!!

Scammer AND insurance company, can you get any lower than this? I have never lived in Florida and get all insurance through my employer. They send me what looks like a statement to pay with no clarifying information ANYWHERE. They make it look like you owe them money to get your bank info.

My husband and son were in a car accident back in March. I filed a claim with the paper work on April 9th and still have not been paid. My husband filed a claim with his insurance and has gotten paid all of his benefits. I ve never seen a company process paper work this long. I will be canceling and going to AFLAC!

If you want to ensure with Allstate don't get old or live in Florida. I recently received a quotation rejection from Allstate. I had requested home owners insurance and was willing to include my vehicles if the cost was right. Today I received a rejection letter stating a prime reason for rejection was my TransUnion credit profile. I believe it was because of my age and where I live (Orange Park, Fl.). I am 82 and retired Navy living in Orange Park, Fl. My credit rating with TransUnion is 803 points and with Experion it is 838 points. I have ensured my vehicles with GEICO for the past 44 years. The Allstate letter stated that I was turned down partially because of my TransUnion credit profile and the letter was under the signatore of Jesse Pineiro.

Worked here and was supposed to be doing data entry at this location. On my second day of training... I came in and if I would not have said anything, no one would have known I was even there. I sat all day, no training or help at all. Also employees there in the office gossip, and have random outbursts. I got sick and it was out of my control, Shayla who I believe is the manager there was very rude and nonchalant to me and simply stated, "Friday was your last day" in a very rude and condesceding tone. Instead of being professional and simply stating your services are no longer needed, or "we have decided to move on" Not a place to get dressed up, show up, and actually take seriously.

I have had a great experience with Jeanette Calderon she is an excellent customer service representative. I have been a client with the company since 2014. I work with a young lady named Roxy who was also excellent. In the last several months I have dealt with Jeanette Calderon who has helped me tremendously she explained the process to me when I did not clearly understand it. I do understand that the process might take some time to receive your benefits but once they do there are right on time with it. Jeanette has helped me so much along the way I could not have had peace of mind if it wasn't for her. I would recommend this company to anyone. Thank you Jeanette you are the best!

They make me track down all the medical records from Kaiser & I send them everything, however they want the records directly from Kaiser. Then why bother me? They said they've reached out to Kaiser however that was a lie, because I checked with Kaiser & I would've had to have signed a medical release form which Allstate knows & yet they have done nothing but procrastinate & they had a second medical facility they could've substantiated everything. I just signed the forms & if they don't comply I'll file a complaint with the Insurance commits of California because this is pure BS.

This company deserves negative stars. I canceled a policy and they still took a lump sum out of my checking account without warning and then they are making me wait 7 - 10 days to return my money. Please shop around and use a company that won't treat you like crap and profit from the interest that they earn on your wrongfully held money.

My short term dissability claim was submitted Feb ...

My short term dissability claim was submitted Feb 23rd and as of March 7th they are just telling me that they need additional paperwork. They tell you up to 10 business days to process your claim,which is extremely to long to wait when you are off work and without income. Since they are requesting additional paperwork from my physician who filled out paperwork already, this may take another two weeks for me to recieve funds. I do not advise this company for disability claims. The wait is too long

I have taken the time to read these reviews seeing as how I help process claims for my clients and care about their claims getting paid. Every claim I review is different and most of the people who file these claims do not understand what or why they need to provide documents even with me providing written instructions. If a claim isn't paid, it's for a reason like missing or insufficient paperwork. Our claim form is four pages. It's not intimidating but I get that filing an insurance claim is not a typical thing to do. There are rules and requirements to file ANY insurance claim that everyone needs to abide by. No one is treated better than someone else and in my office we go above and beyond to help you through the tough situation you're going through. Not every will be happy and that is life but I see first hand what is done to help policy holders.

Received a bill from this company although I have never used Allstate/American heritage. My employer benefits do not use this company either and if they did, it would come straight out of my paycheck and I would not be sent a bill. I called to see why I got this bill but do not trust them with my information as I am suspicious that this is a fraudulent bill/scam company. Sketchy to say the least.

I was a Property and Casualty Insurance Producer in an Allstate agency in Florida for 14 years. Allstate has sort of a protected status in Florida. This company does what they want, steady rate increases (for mismanagement) with their automobile coverage. When they pulled their homeowners coverage out of Florida the Florida Dept of Financial Services should have told them to take their auto coverage too. Then, Allstate would still be writing homeowners in Florida and all the non-renewals would not have been sent out. In 2010/2011 Allstate had a really shady rate increase with their auto coverage, with some insureds getting maybe a 3% increase, some a 25% increase. When you looked at the policies the only reason for the difference in the increases was, ..well shady.

If you are having issues with this company, I suggest going to State Farm, they offer Life Insurance and can answer any questions you have and are guaranteed to pay out to help your family in a very difficult time. If you already have your Autos or Homes or anything with them, why not just go ahead and have your life with them as well. State Farm is the number one company out there.
I was literally on hold with a lady for 6-8 minutes because I asked a question regarding my sisters policy and she did not know the answer to it but told me she wanted to review her policy, it does not take that long to look at a life policy, everything is right there. Trust me, State Farm is Fantastic.

DO NOT GET A POLICY WITH THIS COMPANY

They misrepresent themselves to get you to enroll and deny your claim by giving you the runaround and splitting hair. I had them for 5 years FOR BOTH HOSPITAL AND ACCIDENT. Recently was in the hospital. After having hospital bills that were not covered by my insurance due to my deductible not being met, I submitted a claim to them.
They started splitting hair and giving me the run around by requesting forms that even the hospital was never asked of before. Needless to say it was denied.

Buyer Beware.... this company does not pay their claims!!!!Read all the fine print and ask many questions before you buy a policy. The company and staff will send you on a merry go round for months with hopes you give up and pay the claim yourself. After providing multiple documentation my claim was denied for payment . Can you imagine having a catastrophic illness like cancer and being sent on a Merry go round? The company policies and documentation lack transparency and have Poor customer service . You can file a complaint with better business bureau or Department of Insurance.

I understand that with the Covid-19 issues, many companies are overwhelmed right now. That is the only rationale I can come up with to explain the total lack of communication or follow-up, I have received from this company.

I enrolled in Allstate's Short-term Disability coverage, last September. I had both knees replaced on 1/13/20. I was denied coverage. Allstate claimed that my medical records indicated I had AFIB 6 years ago, and I would have not been issued a policy, had they known. Allstate sent me a check to refund the premiums I had paid. I did not cash it, because I went through the Appeals process.

My Primary Care Physician wrote them an indignant letter, explaining that the AFIB I experienced was a one-time event, resulting from medication taken to combat pain from a kidney stone. I never was treated for AFIB, nor did any follow-up Dr visits indicate that I have AFIB.

On May 2nd, I received a follow-up letter from Mr John Johnson, Sr Underwriter, saying that he reviewed the letter from my Physician, and they would honor my policy. Mr Johnson requested that I return the check.

I sent the check to Mr Johnson, via Certified mail the very next day, on May 3rd. The USPS tracking number indicated that the letter arrived at the USPS location in Jacksonville, on May 7th. Unfortunately, the Tracking Number does not indicate the letter was ever delivered. I was issued a Missing Mail Search ID from the USPS, but nothing has ever come of it.

I have left Mr Johnson, many voice messages, describing the predicament. In those messages, I gave him the Tracking Number,and the Missing Mail ID Number, and said that he should be able to verify the check has never been cashed.

During the messages I left with Mr Johnson, I have asked him to please call me.

I have gotten no response AT ALL. At his point, all I can say is he is very ignorant of customer service.

They said I had life insurance with them and I asked them to send me a copy and it's been a couple of months already and I haven't received anything.i cant believe how many 1 star reviews this company has!
