I took classes here for a year and finally had to stop for several reasons: mainly the books they use - Echo - they are so nonsensical, ill-arranged and in the end absolutely maddening.
You are not going to learn French properly with these books, the school administrators and all the teachers all know it, so I'm not sure why they stay committed to using these books.
Because the books are so bad, if you miss a class - or two- you are going to miss so much of the verbal instructions from the teacher that you will not be able to catch up. If you are retired or have a set schedule where you don't travel and can attend every class this is not a problem. If you a busy professional this is a HUGE problem.
Thirdly was the variance in the instructors themselves. I had the same instructor for levels I and II and a different one for Level III, when I realized the first instructor had not been as good as I thought, and I along with a couple of my classmates from Levels I & II were hopelessly behind...with no way to catch up based again on the method of learning directly from the instructor and the horrible books.
I left feeling frustrated, not educated, and am looking for alternative schools currently.
